Congrats @NatJ24 and @ELMcg so so pleased for the two of you! Feel free to come over to the page that was made that a few of us from this group were on 😊 we’ve quite a few all coming up to 12 week scans now!
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/birth_clubs/4187142-pregnancy-after-loss-autumn-babies-2021-thread-2?watched=1&msgid=106084461#106084461

I actually had my 12 week scan yesterday and all went well, such a relief as it was so hard to imagine them giving me any other news that wasnt ‘I’m sorry...’ I wanted to come and check in on you all 😊

I was thinking about this page a few days ago as I follow two accounts on Instagram - thehormonehealthcoach and another girl called glutenfreefi who took around 2 years to conceive, had a miscarriage and then got pregnant after and now has an almost 1 year old. The two accounts did an Instagram live at the weekend all about fertility and TTC and it’s saved on their account to watch over (90 mins long but it’s interesting) and the hormone lady helped the other girl get pregnant as she went to see her.

Fiona put up a blog post about TTC that some might find interesting www.glutenfreefi.com/main-blog/2018/11/25/do-you-want-children

Sorry; maybe all a bit of a ramble but I know when you’re trying to have a baby you’re desperate to try anything and I find these two so informative! One of my friends has been following a suggestion from the hormone health coach or having ginger tea every morning; and having suffered from really painful periods for years, has now had 3 months of much much more manageable ones.

Florence15 · 01/04/2021 14:41

@PumpkinEverything so glad your scan went well , you must feel so relieved 😅. Nothing better than seeing your baby on screen. Thanks so much for the recommendations, I will definitely take a look xx

NatJ24 · 01/04/2021 15:19

@PumpkinEverything thank you so much 😁 still feeling like its not real at the minute! I will have a look at that thread thank you! Not quite an autumn baby but will be nice with familiar names.
I am so happy for you that your 12 week scan all went ok!! That must have been an amazing feeling and such a relief!

Marvellouslymadmum · 01/04/2021 17:14

Thank you @bez91 I'm not really very hopeful after all this time and now I've been told that it'll be a 33 week wait for my nhs referral for tests so feeling a bit rubbish if I'm honest!

@PumpkinEverything so happy you're doing ok and baby is doing well! I was thinking about you guys the other day and wondering if I'll ever get to join you 😂 I'll have a look at those suggestions thank you as I'm definitely at the I'll do anything stage!

bez91 · 01/04/2021 17:21

Really pleased for you @PumpkinEverything fantastic news

@Marvellouslymadmum wow 33 weeks, that's very precise too. Have you had any tests already?

Marvellouslymadmum · 01/04/2021 18:19

@bez91 I've had progesterone, Lh, oestrogen, fsh but have been referred to fertility for amh, afc and possibly clomid (won't be eligible for ivf anyway) got my letter through and called the number as requested and they said it's about a 33 week wait at the moment and even when I do get an appointment it'll probably just be a phone call for the first one! I'm pretty shocked at the wait when I've seen others get their referrals through in just a few weeks 🙁

Mamat90 · 01/04/2021 20:16

Looks like I'm out this month... boooooo.

fingers crossed for next month... hoping it doesn't take another year and a half this time around as it has taken that long for previous 2 which both ended in losses (ectopic and MMC) I don't think I can do it all again! 3 years of TTC has me feeling really drained atm 😞

bez91 · 03/04/2021 08:21

Ahhh @Mamat90 has AF arrived? 😣 it really is draining mentally, very tough. Is this your second cycle since your MMC? Have you had any input from your GP yet?
I am just coming out of AF so into 5th cycle since MMC this time

@Marvellouslymadmum how are you getting on in your 2ww? I’m 10dpo with still no symptoms. Had some brown cm yesterday but that can mean my af is coming. I’m 95% sure I’m not but not testing yet x

Florence15 · 03/04/2021 09:19

@Mamat90 I know how you feel 🥺 ttc is so draining and exhausting. I’m 41 and starting to feel like it’s actually never going to happen again for me . Hope your ok 😌 sending hugs xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 03/04/2021 09:30

@Mamat90 I'm 3 years as well and it's very draining! I have days where I just feel like it's never going to happen for us

@Florence15 all I have is slightly sore boobs and a dull ache in my abdomen and back like af is on her way! I'm only 8dpo but was having a look back over my bbt charts and if they're all correct with ovulation date I have a changing Lp - is that even possible?? I mean my temperature only shifts very slightly from fp to Lp anyway (which is a sign of pcos apparently) and my Lp ranges between 9 @ 17 days! It's not even consistently gone one way or another it's just randomly up and down so for me af could be due anywhere from tomorrow until 12th! 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

Florence15 · 03/04/2021 09:35

@Marvellouslymadmum I’ve never bothered tracking my temp. I bought a thermometer but it broke 😂. I think as long as your lp is 11 days or more it’s ok isn’t it? Mine has always been on the short side. When will you test usually? I’m thinking my af will arrive tomorrow CD28 which is a late one for me. Never usually go over that x

Marvellouslymadmum · 03/04/2021 09:41

@Florence15 yes I believe as long as it's over 11 you're good but I didn't think it was supposed to vary like that so I'm all confused lol. I usually don't tear until af but as I now down have the foggiest idea if that's due tomorrow or in 9 days time I'm not sure, I'll just see how I feel I guess! Will you test or wait to see if she arrives? X

Florence15 · 03/04/2021 09:53

@Marvellouslymadmum I’ll wait a few more days tbh but I’m not hopeful at all . Good luck, keep us posted x

Marvellouslymadmum · 03/04/2021 10:01

@Florence15 I'm not hopeful either but hey ho, good luck to you too! X

Florence15 · 05/04/2021 09:33

Morning ladies ! I hope you all had a lovely Easter. So I’m 12DPO and I did a really cheap test this morning and there is a faint line. I did one yesterday and it was almost impossible to see it. It’s ever so slightly darker today but still very faint. The only symptom I’ve got is a bloated stomach. Has anyone else had a VERY faint line on 12dpo and had success? I’m panicking it’s a chemical again x

Marvellouslymadmum · 05/04/2021 10:14

@Florence15 I can't offer any help on the test but I know people say just test once a day and see if the line gets darker, mine have all been 14dpo or later. I really hope this is it for you and it's a sticky little bean though 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Florence15 · 05/04/2021 11:49

@Marvellouslymadmum it just concerns me that I’ve not got many symptoms. I’ll just take each day as it comes and test every morning 🤞. Hope your doing ok? X

Marvellouslymadmum · 05/04/2021 12:05

@Florence15 I had no symptoms with either of my teenagers until a while after the bfp so it's not a bad sign. I'm ok, having some great vivid dreams and dizziness today but a slight drop in temp and nothing else means I'm not too tempted to rest at the mo haha x

Florence15 · 05/04/2021 12:19

@Marvellouslymadmum both good signs 👍 let me know how you get on. Fingers crossed. These last few days just seem like forever don’t they. I’ve just been to home bargains for a load of tests 😂😂

Marvellouslymadmum · 05/04/2021 12:34

@Florence15 yes! It totally feels like an eternity, I have to keep reminding myself I've had all these symptoms before with bfn

Lollipop25 · 05/04/2021 18:27

Come on smiley face already, CD16 and not a sign of it. 👊 just want to be in the TWW😕

bubblybrit · 05/04/2021 18:30

Are you seeing a flashing smiley @Lollipop25? I’m waiting on the static smiley....so fed up of dtd as seem to have gotten a lot of flashing smiley this month 😬

Lollipop25 · 05/04/2021 18:35

Not a peep of it yet🤦‍♀️*@bubblybrit*. Used to be a 28/29 day cycle but after last mc it was 35 so just have to wait impatiently. How many flashing smiley days have you gotten? U must be worn out😂

bez91 · 05/04/2021 18:44

That's great news @Florence15 I really hope everything progresses well for you 😊

I'm CD8 and flashing smileys since yesterday which never bodes well when I ovulate early! I always seem to be 3/4 then peak so probably heading for a day 11/12 ov 😐. Wishing on that static for you ladies @Lollipop25 @bubblybrit I'm hoping mine waits a little longer 😬
