Not sure if this is the right place to post... I’m currently CD29. Cycles are usually 26 days. I’ve had very sensitive boobs (never ever get this - only other times were when I was pg (miscarried twice)).

I’ve tested on cd25, 27 and this afternoon but all negative... Is it possible that I could be pregnant but not showing up on test yet?! I feel like I’m going mad! X

Mamat90 · 30/03/2021 08:15

@Tinks123 I've had this happen before where my cycles are always spot on and then I've randomly had a long one that's made me think I'm pregnant only for my cycle to eventually come a little later than usual, if your testing with clear blue or early response test it would show up as a positive by now, with my MMC I had a positive show up on cycle day 24 a whole 6 days before my period was due!

Our bodies are super cruel to us, and I don't want to give you zero hope because I guess there's still a small chance you could be but I'm sure a test would be showing as positive by now for you.

ELMcg · 30/03/2021 08:26

Morning ladies, hope you are all doing well and best of luck for the next 2WW!

I posted on another thread about this and I hope it's not out of line to ask on this thread, but I'm now just at 5 weeks, some of you may remember I tested quite early as felt a bit sick. Well the 'morning' sickness is now out of control! Last time I didn't feel ill until well over 6 weeks, possibly closer to 7. Has anyone experienced extreme nausea this early before? I'm just quite worried of what's to come 😭

Thank you so much for replying! Just starting to worry me more than anything. It’s nice to hear that it can be totally normal☺️ X

elsimo · 30/03/2021 09:45

Is there anything more annoying in this journey than ur period being late and a BFN!!

I am really starting to resent the mc I have in November as now feel I am in a worse postition than before because my cycles are all over the place!!

Marvellouslymadmum · 30/03/2021 10:38

@ELMcg I had this with my son, I was insanely sick at smells, travelling, after I'd eaten from about the same time right up to around the three month mark but it did gradually start to ease, I think because it's the hormones going crazy that makes you sick, once they start to settle so does the sickness. Hope you feel better soon

@Tinks123 I've had this a couple of times it is normal and happens a lot unfortunately 😑 our bodies can be very cruel to us

bez91 · 30/03/2021 15:01

Hi @ELMcg hope you're doing well otherwise. With my last MC I felt sick from about that stage too which I didn't with the others, hopefully it means it will have run it's course sooner and you'll be fine before the 2nd trimester 😊

@elsimo still no AF for you? Mine showed up Sunday but I'm a bit miffed as my last MC seemed to have sorted my cycle lengths out and were 30-31 days the last 4 months. This one was 25 days 🤷‍♀️ just had to phone doctors up for my 2-5 and 21 day bloods to be changed and surprisingly managed to get an appointment tomorrow but I feel the same that I'm probably worse off now and more out of it touch with what my body is up to than ever.

Hello all. I was on these threads last year albeit I lurked mostly. I recognise some names on here. I took a step back from the thread, dr google etc.

Anyway I hope you don’t mind me posting this but today I got a BFP and I wanted to post here in case it gives anyone hope to keep going.
Background is I miscarried in November 2019 (I already have 2 DC). I’m late 30s, very overweight and since the birth of my son 4 years ago have suffered from anxiety/depression etc. 21 day bloods had been clear.
I did start seeing an Acupuncturist tail end of last year and have kept seeing her. Whilst I can’t say if it helped fertility for me it has definitely helped with stress, I’m on a much more even keel and it has been noticed by those around me too. My periods have been more regular and less painful too.
Still very early days (literally 4 weeks) so terrified to get excited and trying not to think ahead. I really hope you all get BFP soon. It’s such an emotional rollercoaster ❤️

Marvellouslymadmum · 30/03/2021 21:11

@Sully84 thank you so much for sharing! It's really great to hear a positive story and definitely gives us hope! I do hope that you have a happy healthy pregnancy 🤞🏻 for your sticky little bean

Wishingfornumber2 · 30/03/2021 21:50

Hi @Sully84 I have been on these threads since last year too after my MC in 2018. Although haven’t posted much in the last 6 months. Great to see your message and congratulations! I am mid 30s and overweight too. Sorry I hope it’s not insensitive to ask but have drs told you to loose weight at all? I had a phone appointment with a consultant the other day to start fertility investigations and he said I would have to loose a bit of weight if I ended up having to go down the ivf route.

Sully84 · 30/03/2021 22:52

@Wishingfornumber2, hey. I wasn’t told to lose weight...I had phone calls with docs a couple of times and said to them I was obese, had 21 day bloods done that were all clear. My doctor was very sympathetic and said everyone was under extreme stress even if they didn’t know it due to the pandemic so to give it time (she said up to two years was normal) and having had successful pregnancies (albeit I was a healthy weight for them) and the MC (obese at this point) showed I could fall pregnant.
Also had an ultrasound last month (suspected ovarian cyst) due to on going pains in my pelvis and scans on uterus were clear but I did have gall stones..so since last month I have been on low fat diet (best incentive ever is fatty food causes pain!) and lost weight but still a drop in the ocean to what I need to lose.

Wishingfornumber2 · 30/03/2021 23:56

@Sully84 that’s good you had a nice dr. That is true what she said about people being stressed but not realising, I hadn’t thought of that. I’m due to have all the bt and scans done. So will see what comes of them.

elsimo · 31/03/2021 19:22

@bez91 thats my period finally arrived!!
I have a docs appointment on 14th April to ask for 21 day bloods again.
Let me know how ur results go!

bez91 · 31/03/2021 19:54

@elsimo ahh that's good to hear. We are almost cycle buddies! I had my 2-5 day bloods done today and booked 19th April for my 21 day bloods and ultrasound on 24th April. I assume GP will ring me afterwards to go through results, not really sure as its the first time having them done.

After my wobble earlier this week I told DH I wanted to take a break from TTC for a while, I still do to be honest but since then he's overly been on board (not that he wasn't before he's just a relaxed naïve bloke) so going to track BBT this month, not sure what I'm doing or even the benefit as I know track ovulation through OPKs so will have a Google!

Our time is coming @bez91
The post down below is probably right, about how much stress the pandemic puts on us as well.
Fingers crossed with the results. I don't know how u feel but I kinda hope there was something and then u know what ur dealing with and can get it fixed.

Awww, glad DH has taken over when ur positivity has ran out...! Mine was telling me yesterday he worries about what all this does to my mental health and that one day I will just loose my mind.
I wasn't really up for that discussion with RAGING pmt lol.

I tried BBT tracking but I couldn't make any sense of it all.

Mustkeepgoing2 · 01/04/2021 07:58

@Sully84

Congratulations and thank you so much for sharing your story. It certainly gives us ‘lifers’ a bit of hope.

Wishing you the happy and healthy pregnancy you so deserve.

There will be worries along the way I am sure but today you are pregnant. Try and take everyday at a time and celebrate your new pregnant status.

Xxx

Florence15 · 01/04/2021 10:29

Morning ladies! I hope your all ok and enjoying the sun 🌞. Is anyone else around the 8dpo mark? I’m CD 25 and absolutely zero symptoms but I usually get brown spotting anywhere from CD22 which usually means AF is on its way. Nothing so far. Has anyone else ever had symptoms as early as 8dpo? I did ovulate slightly later this month so that may be the reason 🤨.
I did have symptoms from 8dpo onwards last time

Marvellouslymadmum · 01/04/2021 10:37

@Florence15 I'm 6dpo it is possible to get symptoms if you implanted early, if you think you ovulated late though I'd wait a couple of days and see what's going on then

Florence15 · 01/04/2021 10:40

@Marvellouslymadmum good luck to you also then . I just knew last time I was pregnant, I was bloated and constipated and had sore boobs but nothing this month when which makes me think AF is just going to be late 🤷‍♀️. Anyway I’ll wait and see x have u had any symptoms?

Marvellouslymadmum · 01/04/2021 10:46

@Florence15 it's funny because each pregnancy can be totally different! I've been pregnant 6times and all been very different, ranging from No symptoms to loads! I haven't had much though I'm really trying hard not to symptom spot, keep getting a funny pain in my left boob and feel a bit bloated, very windy 🌬 😂 definitely 🤞🏻 for you x

Florence15 · 01/04/2021 10:49

@Marvellouslymadmum well those are promising symptoms! Any twinge in my boobs and I’m thinking ohhhh 🤔 lol. These last few days are the longest arnt they. My cycles never usually go past 27 days normally. Anyway good luck. Keep us posted xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 01/04/2021 11:02

@Florence15 I would normally feel the same because I never get any sort of boob pain, however last month they were mega sore all the way through my luteal phase and this month tender around ovulation too so I think my hormones are finally starting to fix themselves. Any you xx

Florence15 · 01/04/2021 11:05

@Marvellouslymadmum nothing really. I had a headache yesterday but that was probably down to the change in weather . I was also shattered last night and this morning but other than that nothing. I’m not holding out much hope but I’ll wait until 11/12 dpo to test if AF isn’t here x

Marvellouslymadmum · 01/04/2021 11:11

@Florence15 I do try and do the same, I hate seeing those bfn so much! My cycles are up and down but I think I've finally worked out that my Lp is about 13/14 days so as long as I and my apps are right and I ovulated on 26th af should be due around Thursday/Friday next week so another week or so before I'll even think about testing (hopefully 😂) keep us updated x

bez91 · 01/04/2021 11:29

Good luck to you both ladies!

@Florence15 I'm with @Marvellouslymadmum literally different every time so I now can't tell pregnancy and AF symptoms apart at all during TWW. Last 2 TWW I've had horrendous nausea from 8dpo - both BFNs 🤦🏼‍♀️ my only one I've had every time I've been pregnant is nosebleeds in the TWW 😂

Keep up posted, wishing you both luck!
