As the Post Pill Party Mosh Pit dies down... sweaty and bewildered, the ladies head to the bar to freshen up. Suddenly, a fiddler bursts onto the stage, beginning a merry tune. Everybody swings into an energetic Ceilidh!

Our heads are spinning, our bodies are knackered but we arent giving up dancing when the music is this catchy!

This is the 8th post pill party thread for women whose bodies don't know the correct dance steps after hormonal contraception. Raise a dram to combating delayed ovulation, flabberghasting follicular phases, loopy luteal phases, bizzare temp charts and OPKs whiter than a Scotsman's bum!

@Juno231 I thought it was very close to buildings too!

@juno231 @tillybabs yes, it apparently did a lot of damage to a nearby house, and they have been finding sand up to half a mile away. The bomb was 8ft long... and it was LOUD!! I was sat waiting for it and it still really shocked me 😆

@Kay00 Wow! Yours was definitely more exciting then mine 🤣 definitely looked too close to buildings!

@Kay00 wow that’s insane but I suppose they had no other choice. I was thinking some houses might have developed some cracks after that.

@tillybabs yes, I imagine so! And maybe broken windows? One guy on FB who lives nearby said he left his washing on the line when he was evacuated 😆 guess he'll need to re-wash them... if any survived at all!

My temp and RHR has gone up again, I’m 10dpo be today so will see what happens tomorrow.

It's mad that there are still so many WW2 bombs around!

My temps are definitely jumping up, confirming Ovulation, but my RHR is so flat 😂 hopefully it jumps up a bit soon!

I'm having an internal struggle at the moment - part of me is hoping to hell that I'll conceive again this month, and the other part of me is calling that part an idiot because it won't happen that soon/I won't be that lucky. It's hard enough managing expectations when you're TTC but I feel it's a whole other headfuck when you've had a loss as well. I'm obsessively charting everything and checking my apps multiple times a day hoping it'll give me a hint as to what's happening! 🤪

Nothing interesting to report from me, CD14 but I'm not expecting O until late 20s/30s days.

@MissC07 I feel the pre-period rage today so I think everything will start coming down tomorrow and then AF will appear in a couple of days.

@LauraT94 Definitely looks like you’ve ovulated and you’ve got good coverage!

@chinchilly your chart is looking pretty fantastic! Hopefully your rage isn't AF related!!

My temp is still low at 35.96 but I've had a few more darker OPKs... no peak though. Hopefully my body is trying to do something... and it's not just the new pack of OPKs that are trolling me 😆

@LauraT94, WV is very strange - I thought I was quite switched on with Marvel but been very grateful for explainer videos 😆 I reckon they will do a Scarlett Witch Film. My sleep pattern is all over the place so snatch every min I get my hands on.

@Kay00 that was some 💣 and 💥! The BDS smother anything they are doing a controlled explosion of in sand to try and dampen the impact on surrounding area.

@ChinChilly oh the pre AF rage - I feel like the hulk sometimes 🙈

Anyone else excited for the confirmed date for the new season line of duty? 21 March - quite sad that it's a highlight in this house.

Slight side note, did you know they stopped making the blue feminax in 2018! Another thing to add to my GP appt list on Thursday and ask if they can prescribe for me.

CD12 and had an unexpected peak! With diluted wee on a one hour hold at that. Luckily I jumped OH yesterday and will do again today and tomorrow. I think today is the day though and I've not ovulated this early since June and that was the only time in the past year!

Oh and ladies - on another bus I'm on someone got their bfp today at cycle 18! Gives me hope 😊

@LauraT94 your temps are looking great so far. I completely understand the internal struggle. Every month I get my hopes while telling myself not to be stupid. But you conceived quickly the first time so no reason why that shouldn’t be the case again.

@Juno231 oh wow that is an early ovulation day but that is a dark OPK! Exciting. And I LOVE hearing stories like that about the woman on the other thread. Gives me hope too! Lovely news

@MissC07 I’ve nothing to report either. CD9.... I’ve even been really bad at temping this cycle. With AF I’m like meh but I know I’ll become an obsessive temper/ttc maniac in a few days 😂

So my peak was on CD13 on IC opk and since then my lines have not been much darker. My temp also dropped to 36.00 this morning however I had to disregard it because of lack of sleep and I had a few alcoholic drinks last night which I do not usually do. My CB is still giving me flashing smileys so had that 2 days in a row..... do I still consider myself fertile until a temp rise?
My RHR went up today too however is this also due to alcohol and lack of sleep?

@Moocher90 if you had a peak opk on cd13 then don't forget to add that to FF as it doesn't look like you have yet. I would actually guess that you're ovulating today considering the temp drop - alcohol should raise your temp and not lower it so it doesn't explain the temp drop and I'm not sure the poor night's sleep is to blame either!

@juno231 well peak on CD13 is on the right track for ovulating today as can be up to 48 hours?? I guess I will have to see what temps do tomorrow.

@ChinChilly yes hopefully we covered enough of the fertile days! OH was practically pushing me away by the time I ovulated 😂

@Kay00 oooh it definitely looks like something is happening! I find Femometer so much easier to read OPKs (@Moocher90 I was going to suggest the same to you too!)

@mrsmacmc I hadn't heard about Line of Duty and OH and I love that! Very exciting!

@Juno231 😱 look at that peak! Do you think the HSG had anything to do with it coming earlier? Either way it's fab that it's already happening and hopefully this early O is the one!

@Cams50 thanks. I know 90% of my issue is made up of overthinking everything 😂 need to try and chill out! I'm doing Walk All Over Cancer in March (10k steps a day) and I'm hoping the extra exercise helps relax me a bit.

@laurat94 thanks for the tip, I'll certainly check Femometer out... at the very least because I hate Premom lol.

@moocher90 hmmm yeah I can see where Juno is coming from... maybe keep the low temp and see what tomorrow brings!

Still no peak on the OPKs for me... not sure if a) ovulation has happened b) body is still gearing up to ovulate c) it's fizzled out again. Temps tomorrow should show me more 🤞

@Kay00 you and I remain in the same boat. I feel this cycle may be annovulatory... I think my body TRIED at CD20 but trying ain't enough! Gap in OPKs because I ran out

My temp went down again today so I’m guessing AF will join me in a couple of days time!

Had a right mare yesterday, bath/shower has leaked down into the kitchen, the sealent had seen better days so spent all night picking out the old sealent and resealing it and hoping its just that which caused the wet kitchen ceiling 😭

First of the month today and I'm 1 DPO - love it when it aligns like that! Anyone other than me that updates their budget trackers on the 1st? It's like my favourite day of the month lol.

Temp went up enough today to be higher than the previous 6 at 36.57. Managed to DTD on O and O-1 in that case. Might see if OH is up for it tonight just to cover our bases. Bought pineapple to eat this LP - haven't done that in ages!

@LauraT94 I don't think the HSG could have brought it forward but my last cycle was a bit wonky with a weirdly long LP so I wonder if it has had some kind of knock on effect.

@Moocher90 what did your temp do today?!
