As the Post Pill Party Mosh Pit dies down... sweaty and bewildered, the ladies head to the bar to freshen up. Suddenly, a fiddler bursts onto the stage, beginning a merry tune. Everybody swings into an energetic Ceilidh!

Our heads are spinning, our bodies are knackered but we arent giving up dancing when the music is this catchy!

This is the 8th post pill party thread for women whose bodies don't know the correct dance steps after hormonal contraception. Raise a dram to combating delayed ovulation, flabberghasting follicular phases, loopy luteal phases, bizzare temp charts and OPKs whiter than a Scotsman's bum!

Morning ladies!

I took a couple of days off here as after my 'don't know what temp to put on FF as I woke up at a stupid time and couldn't get back to sleep question' the other day, I started spotting again....at 7DPO...so I was a bit down I had more yesterday but it has seemingly stopped as of yesterday afternoon so I'm just on the WAS game now to see if it starts again (great call on the new acronym @LauraT94 - I tend to be forever WASeeing!)

Anyway, congratulations @ChinChilly!! How are you feeling about it now? Is it sinking in? My fingers are firmly crossed those lines (which look fine by the way!) get darker and darker for you! Hope everyone else is doing well - Happy Friday!! I'm so ready for the weekend after 3 days of insomnia. I woke up at 3.55am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep! I learned my lesson from @Juno231 though and took my temp straight away this time!

@FlyingGiraffe ah I'm sorry about the insomnia! Work stress causing it? BTW I have no clue what I'm doing bbt wise so take what I say with a pinch of salt 😅

@chinchilly I logged on cause I was half expecting another frer from you 😁

Who will take the reins for the next thread btw? Any volunteers? It needs to be set up today - potentially even before lunch!

@FlyingGiraffe @Juno231 Hi, thank you both for thinking off me 😊 my tests aren’t upto much I’m afraid, I was hoping they would be much darker today but it looks the same, if not abit lighter, as yesterdays! I’m not filled with confidence to be honest!

@ChinChilly I think that today's is about the same as yesterday's, but that's why they say to test every other day... at most. I think you should leave testing now until Sunday if you can, whatever the outcome on a FRER at this stage will have no baring on whether you remain pregnant or not, so spend your time relaxing and focusing on you xx

@FlyingGiraffe - Welcome to the WAS club . Hopefully your spotting was implantation? We'll have to WAS!

@FlyingGiraffe Actually, I woke up at 3am too and couldn't get to sleep afterwards (I was absolutely starving... pains in my stomach starving... this FODMAP diet is so tough!!).

I was drifting in and out all morning then took my temp at 6am (normal time) and it was just 35.99.... so I think its safe to say I didn't ovulate on Monday I was so hopeful. Damn!

@Kay00 thanks, I think i needed that! I’m not testing again until Sunday my friend rightly pointed out if i compare the top and bottom which are 48 hours apart there is a huge difference! I need to stop being irrational and ultimately what will be will be

@ChinChilly exactly my dear x for now you are pregnant, and the best thing you can do is to relax, eat well and spend some time with your OH xx

@Juno231 I don't mind setting up the next one! Might as well do something productive with my day rather than stare at my work computer 😂

@Sperr @mrsmacmc the lemonade and ice definitely helped 😂 I'm going to have one more glass this afternoon and then it might languish in the back of my fridge 😬 especially as I have pom juice arriving later this Eve and I'm sure that'll be more palatable!

@FlyingGiraffe yay I'm glad you like the WAS acronym haha, but I'm sorry you're having this confusing spotting! Could it be super early Ovulation spotting?

@ChinChilly that's fab progression over 48 hours! I agree, step away from the tests for now ❤️ hope the happy news is settling in now!

So I'm 7dpo and majorly symptom spotting 😂 I'm going to do an IC tomorrow morning because I'm ridiculous and can't help myself 🙄🤪

@LauraT94 I was going to go for a Line Dance! Given the dancing themes and the fact we're all trying to get some good old lines of our own at the moment! Hope that's ok with everyone? 🤠
