As the Post Pill Party Mosh Pit dies down... sweaty and bewildered, the ladies head to the bar to freshen up. Suddenly, a fiddler bursts onto the stage, beginning a merry tune. Everybody swings into an energetic Ceilidh!

Our heads are spinning, our bodies are knackered but we arent giving up dancing when the music is this catchy!

This is the 8th post pill party thread for women whose bodies don't know the correct dance steps after hormonal contraception. Raise a dram to combating delayed ovulation, flabberghasting follicular phases, loopy luteal phases, bizzare temp charts and OPKs whiter than a Scotsman's bum!

Bomb had been deactivated and taken away, no need for evacuation, thank god! If anyone lives in the west midlands you might spot it on the local news!

@Kay00 my friend accidently fell pregnant a week before she was going to have her coil fitted, she’s about to half 2 under 2! It took her a year to concieve the older one post pill so she gets the struggles, i do sometimes feel a prang of jealousy though

Planning a redecorate and move around of the house in a the summer to keep me busy. Was only done 2 and a half years ago but deffo needs a refresh

@ChinChilly Joining you on the house refresh! We only moved in here in May but because we're here constantly with WFH we keep noticing things we want to do. We're getting our bathroom done in April which involves smashing a wall down. I am not looking forward to the dust and noise 😱

RHR... how much do we read into that? Am I unfit or could I be hopeful . 23rd jan was CD1 and my original est ovulation was 11th feb.

Its not been that high since I was last actually pregnant pre MC (Stop hoping, self, it's the hope that kills you!)

@MissC07 ooo id love to get our bathroom and kitchen done! There’s nothing wrong with them they’re very neutral but just not to my taste! We’ve got a big kitchen though and it needs taking back to brick so it’ll probs be a re-mortgage jobbie! We painted our hallway and kitchen white and then got a dog 😂 i do keep on top of wiping it all down but the paint just looks tired now!

We also had light grey carpet in the living/dining room then had the window knocked out and doors put to lead into the garden - the plasters weren’t tidy! And light carpet with a dog is a nightmare

@Kay00 good luck with the baby shower! I’m sure it’ll be lovely but still difficult when you’re trying.

@TheDaydreamBelievers the rhr looks super positive! Also I still thought your chart looked like you had ovulated as there was such a dip and rise even if your later temps weren’t crazy high.

@ChinChilly and @MissC07 ohh doing things to the house is fun! I’ve started looking more at house things to try to distract myself more from ttc.

Evening all xx 2nd wedding anniversary today. We went for a nice 5 mile walk. Hubby got me a cushion with some lovely memories on from our wedding, it’s cotton for the 2nd year married. Also got me some chocolate well gluten and dairy free expensive stuff for a company called gorge. I’ve cooked a nice gluten free roast dinner too. I got him the heart smash with cupcakes and sweets

@Cams50 instrgram is so good for house ideas!! I’m thinking a more industrial look for downstairs 🤔

@ChinChilly Thank god we've got wood floor throughout downstairs. Our pup is 7 months now but I think if we had carpet in the early stages I honestly would've lost it 🤣 so far we've decorated our lounge and my OH turned one of the bedrooms into his office...! We're trying to decorate the 3rd bedroom at the moment but I can't get motivated. It's also so hard when everywhere is still shut so you can't look round properly. I love walking round home stores looking at stuff!

@Cams50 I try and distract myself with home renovation Instagram pages now rather then any pregnancy announcement ones!

@ChinChilly @cams50 I'm half way through renovating my house... its certainly fills my time but not hugely distracting I painted my hallway today and next weekend... more filling and sanding the woodwork!

@MissC07 we stupidly put carpet down before we thought about having a dog! I think we’ll be putting a decent laminate down in the summer! I love mooching round home stores 😭 I wouldn’t mind our 3rd bedroom being an office...OH is slowly turning it into a gym 🥴

@Kay00 omg sanding down the woodwork...I hated that, got OHs mates to do most of it...they were paid with takeaways! 😂 I would definitely do things differently if I could go back to the reno stages!

@ChinChilly @Cams50 @Kay00 I've been doing bits of DIY today - hallway and front door! Sanding woodwork is the worsttrttt

@TheDaydreamBelievers I hated our old front door, we tried sand and paint it and it looked worse...I luckily broke the lock one morning and we had to replace the whole door ofcourse 😂

Thanks all! No AF yet today, so I am cautiously optimistic once more. Will avoid testing for a few more days though as it's just worrying me and if still no AF in 2-3 days then will test again.

I am DIY'ing too! My OH wishes I wasn't, as I am enthusiastic but totally without skill haha! I have just removed all the old doors in our cottage and sent them to be dipped, and they have been returned rather more rustic (and smelly!) than we had anticipated. Will need to invest in a sander and wax I believe..... also completely destroyed the doorframes removing them so not quite sure how we are going to rehang them! OH just sighs and shakes his head at me haha!

@abi555 im so glad AF hasn't turned up for you! I had some dipped doors, unfortunately they were in a really bad state under the paint, so we had to dry them out, prime and repaint 😆

Baby shower is over. Lots of baby chat and birth stories but no one asked about my situation (phew!). I have just checked Facebook and another old school friend has just announced the birth of a little baby girl!! (I didn't even know she was pregnant!!) I give up lol. 😆

@Kay00 I’ve had two people announce pregnancies :( it doesn’t get any easier especially when you want it so bad! It’s even worse when I’m not even ovulating so there’s literally no point in TTC x

@abi555 Just came on to say I really know how you're feeling in limbo as this was exactly what happened to me last month. I stopped testing and waited for AF in the end but it was 2 days late which is apparently normal in a CP.
However I'm keeping everything crossed for you that HCG doubles and your cramping is pregnancy symptoms.
If it's not then just know that it's a positive sign you can get pregnant, you have a great chart and some people say you're even more fertile the month after a CP.
I'm thinking of you because I know how awful it is not knowing and not getting definite clear lines on a test. At least by early testing you'll be able to put it down to a CP if AF arrives now and armed with more info for your next cycle ✨

@Kay00 I had a friend who dad that, i was like wait what? You were pregnant? Since when 😂

@Moocher90 I feel abit like that, I know my TSH is too high to conceive so why do I get my hopes up each cycle 🙄 eurgh annoying

@ChinChilly but atleast you are ovulating xx I’m here like waiting and instead I get an early period 😂 it’s the most frustrating thing. See how this cycle goes however I am not hopeful I will ovulate

@ChinChilly sounds like you had an 'exciting' day! Glad the bomb was deactivated without more drama! We've got the Ministry of Defence nearby and bombs sometimes get driven here to be detonated/deactivated safely!

Loving all the home Reno chat! We moved into a fixer upper Nov 19 and are gearing up to do phase 2 (kitchen extension and garage conversion) in June! Can't wait as I HATE our current 70s kitchen!

I've spent the weekend delivering orders for my business, gardening and cooking yummy food 😍 Georgie wanted in on my dinner! Still no positive OPKs over here so think it was just a freak surge of fertile signs with no O 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️

@LauraT94 your cat is beautiful! Not sure. My previous estimated ovulation would make today 10dpo but FF has since decided I didnt ovulate then so... not sure!

@Moocher90 I may be ovualting but my thyroid is laughing at me 😂😂 I’m hopeful that your endo will sort you out on the 24th!

@LauraT94 I think this is the 3rd one that’s been found in the last few years, a guy found one under his shed once, put it in his car and drove it to the police station which was behind a shopping centre which my and OH were shopping in (he was security there at the time) and even though it was his day off he went to help the evacuate the centre and I was just stood there like 🙄 😂

Our kitchen is very ikea veneer finish, it’s fine it’s just not to my taste, I may try tart it up to so it’s last a few more years! Dinner looks delish! Super cute kitty! What is your business?

@ChinChilly oh wow haha!! 😂 I can imagine my OH being the same if he was in that situation! Dinner was SO good and I made tiramisu for pudding too! I sell perfumes mainly 🧡 I'm also a nanny, a part time student and a mobile massage therapist (pre-covid times!). Jack of all trades!

@TheDaydreamBelievers oops I meant to add that the whole ovulation/dpo thing is a tricky one! I'd probably test in the next few days just because I'm obsessed with POAS 😂 you got a negative before didn't you? So any line, however faint, would 100% be a new one?
