As the Post Pill Party Mosh Pit dies down... sweaty and bewildered, the ladies head to the bar to freshen up. Suddenly, a fiddler bursts onto the stage, beginning a merry tune. Everybody swings into an energetic Ceilidh!

Our heads are spinning, our bodies are knackered but we arent giving up dancing when the music is this catchy!

This is the 8th post pill party thread for women whose bodies don't know the correct dance steps after hormonal contraception. Raise a dram to combating delayed ovulation, flabberghasting follicular phases, loopy luteal phases, bizzare temp charts and OPKs whiter than a Scotsman's bum!

@Gracie2021 @Cams50 ah your honeymoons sound amazing! We did a trip to SA in 2012 that was the best trip I've ever been on (been back in 2018 and 2019 as well but due to work so less fun). Cams I went the paradise island way for our honeymoon (Bali, Gili Trawangan and Komodo) and I wish I could do it all over again!

Also got a GP app about fertility on 3rd March! It’s so frustrating, surely they know optimal is closer to 0 then 5 :/ for TSH levels and under 2.5 for TTC....

@Moocher90 glad that you're scheduled in for that. Hopefully you'll be better looked after by the endocrinologist. So hard having to advocate for yourself when you don't feel like you're getting the proper support.

@abi555 Iceland looks amazing and so romantic. Those thermal pools 🥰🥰 my friend abs I are sending each other pics of our fav beaches every day to help offset travel lust.

@abi555 aah i hope that was a line! I haven't heard one step are bad for evaps but I've heard they're not actually as sensitive as they claim to be - so that could explain the line? Def try a FRER tomorrow if AF doesn't show up!

@Gracie2021 it’s gone back up 😂. I honestly hate the way Apple does it! I don’t think I can’t rely on it because it fluctuates so much. I feel like my cervix feels different today as well but I don’t know if that’s good or bad 😂. I really should stop poking around in there

@Juno231 that sounds so amazing. I haven't been anywhere in Asia at all yet but it looks so so amazing. You'd really miss the travel wouldn't you.

@abi555 @Gracie2021 @Cams50 we got the wedding but not the honeymoon before Covid19! Were meant to be going to Canada. Goodness knows when that will happen.

Also Abi, I have never seen a One Step evap but I dont think they are very sensitive at all so it could be a faint early positive. I would suggest you try on 14dpo and there should be a line then if its real. Wishing you luck for that line to go solid! Orrrr, spend some pennies and get a FRER

@abi555 omg!! Well your chart looks great. Eek everything crossed for you. Definitely try with a frer in the morning. Also I’m the exact same. I also have today off which doesn’t help with my ttc craziness and I’m Googling all the old threads where bfn at 10dpo turned into bfp 😂

This lockdown has been the worst!! The other two haven’t really bothered me but this one is really starting to get me down!! I want cocktails with my girlfriends! I want meals out! I wanna go shopping 😩 total 1st world problems but bloody hell!

@ChinChilly ooooh I totally get you there! Had a zoom with some girlfriends last night and it was lovely to see their faces but I want soooo badly to go out for cocktails with them again! This lockdown is really bugging me too. Coped quite well with the others, but this one is seriously dragging now!

Ah, holidays! Just the thought makes me nostalgic! We managed to do a quick city break to prague in Feb last year just before covid hit and so glad we did. Dreaming of the next time I can get on a plane!

Also, (this sounds so first world problems!!) but is anyone else annoyed that covid has stolen our last year of being able to go on exciting, baby-free holidays? We had so many places we wanted to go to off the beaten track so to speak that (if we're lucky enough to get BFP) we will probably not get the chance to now as it's not easy to adventure as a family!

I'll keep you updated on tomorrow - have 1 FRER but will keep it for FMU tomorrow. Really trying not to get my hopes up though as I honestly think it's going to be a BFN. Suppose my chart will tell me in the morning, if temp drops then question answered!

All this holiday talk is making me want to book one so badly!! The last time I got on a plane was Feb 2020 when I went to go and see my brother in Ireland. We're supposed to be going to Portugal in June that was rearranged from last year, but I can't see that happening especially as we'd have to quarantine in one of those hotels on the way back!!! Urghh what I'd give to be on a sun lounger now with a cocktail reading a book!!

@abi555 I feel like covid has stolen the last years of my 20’s I was 28 when it started and I’m going to be 30 in August.

@abi555 yes! We wanted to do Vietnam or Colombia and ended up just nipping to Sicily for a week in September.

I do get a fair bit of anxiety about all the things that will be so much harder to do once we have kids. E.g. trekking in Peru, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, yoga retreats, boozy hols etc

@Gracie2021 basically my RHR dropped for 10 mins and I had a melt down 😂. I think I might be the dramatic one now 😂😂😂

I miss holidays- we managed to sneak one in in august but we love winter breaks so I feel lost. I feel like there is no point taking annual leave at the moment either to just sit at home with shit weather!!! I’m so tired from work but I don’t want to waste me annual leave

I am definitely missing the holidays. @TheDaydreamBelievers we had our honeymoon in Canada last year, it all kicked off whilst we were over there so we were quite lucky with the timing. Had a lot of friends asking us to bring hand sanitizer back with us 😂 Canada is such a beautiful place, you won't regret a honeymoon there!

We were hoping to go skiing for our 1st wedding anniversary next week but that's obviously not happening. DH said the only thing we could do is camp in the garden!

@ChinChilly I agree, I kinda enjoyed the first lockdown, the sun was shining, I could work in the garden, didn't mind it at all. This one is really getting me down. My parents live 2 hrs away so it's been almost 6 months since I've seen them which isn't helping.

That must be really difficult not seeing parents! I’m lucky my parents only live a 5-10 min drive away so it’s easy enough to have a socially distanced convo on the driveway!

My CM has gone very creamy/lotiony so I’m guessing I’ve either ovulated or my body attempted to and failed...we’ll see over the next few days

@Juno231 my ICs might be at home! I’m working late today so I won’t have time to get a test today but if they haven’t arrived I will go get one on Saturday (provided AF hasn’t shown up of course!)
