I'm in my 2ww now - can anyone shed any light on a positive (static smiley on day 30!!) ovulation test but very creamy and kind of lumpy CM - hello strangers on the internet! 🤣

So just for shits and giggles took a FRER this morning at 8dpo ridiculous I know and guess what BFN, surprise surprise. I'm not sure why but I still feel positive and don't feel out like I did last month or I've lost the plot and have false hope🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

@Kally9 ahhhh we have no TMI here, i think we've learnt i don't think CM shows a massive amount after ovulation it can be very different so I wouldn't try to go by that too much

Does anyone else feel time is going slow but flying at the same time?? The weeks just seem to be passing in a blur and the jobs on my to do list just sit there, but equally this lockdown seems to be going on forever! So ready for half term-desperately hoping primary kids can come back on the 8th as this term has been a killer.

I'm a wash my hair once a week kinda gal, although towards the end of a week I start to get achey hair where it joins the scalp; does anyone get that or am I just odd?

Just joining the hair chat, sadly have to wash mine every single day, after exercise it gets sooooo greasy! Weirdly since being pregnant it hasn't been getting as greasy which surprised me.

Me & DH went for a run this morning - as he won't let me out on my own now in case of ice - we left the dog loose in the lounge. Got back and he'd grabbed one of DH's school textbooks that he had stupidly left on the sofa and chewed the ears off the book, DH not happy but doggo looking pretty pleased with himself..

@Minster2012 baby. 🤣 Is her child genuinely called that? I mean, that's how it sounds. But surely not?
And here's me in that time mustering up a whole ZERO number of babies. Doesn't seem right! How has she managed 2. Goes to show that getting pregnant is not based on personality. 🤣

@lucyrp ah you see I'm mega lazy and mainly just wash it and leave it. I'm working from home and going nowhere so no need to arse around with it. Tbf I think my hair likes it as it's the longest it's ever been!

I'm mainly pleased as it's CD19 not CD20 as expected, and that means (assuming another 27 day cycle) that my luteal phase will be 10 not 9 days! Moving in the right direction!

Bloody Baltic here -4😩 also fuming with myself, ovulating today, and fw was from Saturday-tomorrow, we DTD Saturday Sunday and Tuesday, Monday I fell asleep, and last night low and behold I fell asleep whilst OH took the dogs on their bedtime walk😩 I feel like I always have to get a bonk in the night before ovulation because it's a good time and I didn't do it, bloody typical!!

@Juno231 hey! I didn't have to pay it was on NHS but I think to pay for it its around £1600 but don't quote me on that! How are you? And all you other ladies 😘😘

I'm okay, I actually got covid 😬 I have just recovered after being bad for 8 days or so. I think being pregnant made it worse clearly but I got through it and now I'm fine. I'll be seeing the midwife on Monday and listening to the heartbeat to ease my fears! Xx

@larrythelizard God knows? Baby 2 and 3? Maybe she's no good with names. 🤣 I don't want to look it up and ruin anything for myself though. I will when it's finished.

Also in very bad taste, my lovely neighbour, she is still away, sent me a lovely message saying what a lovely person I am and she is so grateful to have me, don't worry I am not a saint, I am only collecting her parcels and storing them for a couple of weeks, but it's a big worry away for her

Well I just had the appointment! They were 15 min late and it lasted a whopping 13 min . She never even asked if OH was there and asked me all the questions! She also didn't seem to have any of my results from previous tests, she could just see that they'd taken place.

She was a bit concerned about my family history of early menopause and has told me to come in on CD2-4 for a repeat test of day 3 FSH and estradiol, plus AMH this time. OH has to redo his SA as well and she was surprised they hadn't put him on antibiotics after the last result showed an abnormally high count of white blood cells. On day 1 I also have to call the hospital to arrange an HSG so it sounds like I'll have that done in the next two weeks or so. After that I need a follow up appointment to discuss results and we'll take it from there. No mention of IUIs/IVF or anything like that. The lady was rather to the point and perhaps a bit brusque.

On the hair chat, I've managed to get mine to washing it once every three days. I used to do it every other day but since no one but DH was actually seeing me I figured I'd try going longer. My hair is weird though, like the individual strands of hair are quite thick but on the whole my hair is relatively thin? Half of it is sort of wavy, a chunk of it curls, a chunk of it is straight and half the time it frizzes out like no one's business 😂 it's not a good look but I just don't have the patience to deal with it

@Juno231 I just see that as to the point, which is a missing skill in many in the medical profession, good thing you have a plan and a course of action.

@Minster2012 @notyetamumbuttrying @InkyPaper @Franklydear @blackcurrantqueen yeah overall positive - it was mostly just stressful how quick it was! Silly things like telling me to do a CD3 test. How? As in do I have to go via GP again? No no, just come to the hospital (as if a hospital isn't massive - do you mean the phlebotomy dept?) and then omg which hospital?? Seeing as last week's appointment was with St Georges and this week's with Queen Mary's. So yeah I had to keep thinking about all those little questions (same for SA - turns out OH has to go to Kingston for that one? and "just call the hospital to arrange the HSG" is so vague).

Oh and minster I've not had AMH tested as part of NHS yet! So I'm intrigued to see what a proper test will show as I don't really trust the online send through the post ones.

@Missgoldilocks ah thank you for answering and jebus I can't believe you got covid! Glad you're on the mend and tell us ALL about baba's heart rate
