Morning all! Sorry missed so much, don’t know where last few days have gone, hope everyone well and sorry for the bfn over last few days. I’m in the same camp bfn this morning and now spotting so AF is going to be my valentines present I think...sod it im just going to eat chocs and snuggle on the sofa...no grand plans for lube and 🍆 for me!

Also I didn’t feel sick with my 2nd but did with some of the miscarriages so honestly there doesn’t seem to be any logic...but like all this ttc shenanigans...just take each day steady...

@Justanothercyster I don't think you're broken and not the only one, I don't use it now, I did occasionally when on the pill as that massively effected my hormones I've now realised but I seem to suffer with an oversupply now 🙈

@paintfairy that thread is just odd, she's away with the fairies. I have a friends whose DH works security for a large oil firm, it's really risky but she always knows what country he is in at least and has an emergency number for his boss. I guarantee he's got another family 🙄

@Minster2012 I love this bus, I've only been on a couple of months but I love all the TMI and stuff I've been educated on along the way 😂 and it's real. I've been on other threads and I just cba with ladies posting a PT at 1dpo, 2dpo, 3dpo etc "can anyone see a line" no hun 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm lucky my ride isn't at rough as most here but my 2 MCs have definitely affected my MH and my outlook on life, so it's nice to know I'm normal too 😊

We are having our valentines meal tonight. Steak (often have it on sat but we've bought more expensive steak) and I also made DH get dessert. We'll do cards tomorrow though. God, should I put better clothes on? I'm so crap. 🤣

Have given up on catching up properly 😂 @Justanothercyster was it you asking if anyone else doesn't use lube? Meeee! I have random allergies to things and I tried Durex lube and well... About 30 seconds later I was shoving DH off me screaming that my vagina was on fire and racing to the shower to try and clean it off 😂🙈 so it took years before I tried it again (using one for sensitive skin) but the experience put me off so much I rarely use it 😂

On the pregnancy chat, I love hearing all your stories and where you all are in your journeys. I find it really comforting to know there's such a wide knowledge base here of the different stages and what they can involve. I've never wished so hard for people I've never met to get pregnant before!!
That said, I do totally get the frustration of someone who hops on, joins in the chat, immediately gets pregnant and then never says anything again. Mostly because I'm crazy jealous but also because I wanna know how people get on!

No sign of AF yet for me. I did think that based on the original ewcm if I ovulated then I should've come on on Thursday, but then again more ewcm turned up randomly later on so I probably ovulated later than I thought (if I did/have at all) Debating if there's much point in testing as history is not on my side for weird cycles and those sticks are expensive!! Next month I should be able to go back to the doctor as we'll have been a year trying then.

Sorry ladies, I am reading but not getting much time to chat. Like @Thinkingandblinking my Valentine's present was AF showing up yesterday! At least it was a 27 day cycle not 25 like the last one. So gotta take that positive out of it! And champagne tomorrow (DH working tonight)!!

To the ladies worried about lack of symptoms, please try not to. When I was pregnant with my DD, the only reason I took a test was coz I wanted to drink wine. AF was a week late but had been the previous month so I thought nothing of it. I had about 3 days of nausea in the first trimester (and falling asleep constantly) and that was it. Nothing else, no sore nips, didn't have a fitbit back then so not a clue about my rhr (bliss) etc. I think sometimes we know too much now and it just causes more worry. I'm going to take off my fitbit this month. I am fed up of trying to figure out when I ovulate going by my rhr (@Juno231 is the expert here I believe!), I don't do bbt coz my sleep is too disturbed, get stressed using opks etc. So just gotta keep dtd as much as possible. I never use lube either (thank you ewcm) but just bought conceive plus coz, ya know, I'm willing to try anything now after so long!

I agree it can be disheartening to see the BFP from others but I've come to the conclusion that we don't know what is going on in people's lives. Difficulty around ttc is still not spoken about much and I know my fair share of ladies who have been through so much trying to get pregnant so I try focus on the positive as much as possible when I hear someone got their bfp. Easier said than done sometimes!

Anyway, enough of my long winded monologue...

@martymcshy always good to hear about your pg symptoms, I have had good days and bad, had some terrible nausea last week but it seems to settle if I eat a big breakfast so today was 2 Crumpets with lemon curd and yoghurt - v healthy 😂 but I can't stop sleeping I am literally exhausted. Never ever known tiredness like it. Just grateful I can keep on with my running for now but a bit more chilled about it.

In other news DH and I just went to the shop to buy a few bits, new Starbucks opened, so we had a takeaway hot drink, it was sooooo nice and felt a bit more normal!

I think go easy on yourself don't do anything overly strenuous etc but tbh im the worst to advise I gave chemo and pushed beds until I went on maternity leave. To me it's very personal but about being sensible and doing only what you are comfortable with!
I cut back on doing procedures where I couldn't leave the room just in case I was going to be sick though 😂

@paintfairy he's lovely and I'd give anything to have him this time round. The day after I was getting a bottle from the wee room and walking back to my room, passed him pushing my baby had a bit of a panic that something was wrong, he laughed, it wasn't my baby turns out they all just look the same at 24 hours old 🙈😂 I'm genuinely surprised they let me take her home!

@Franklydear enjoy your week off and get plenty of rest! Look after yourself and I'm sure your lovely husband will too.

@Kirky658 oh got my wrath last night. He was moaning about how happy I am while he has soooo much to do. He sets himself these ridiculous targets and seems to think that everything needs to be done before baby arrives. Example our house is officially 6 bedrooms but 3 are upstairs and are currently used as loft space. There is no heating up there and the stairs are behind a door so we just ignore it, the plan was always to do it up into two big bedrooms with en-suites. He also wants to put in a log cabin for air bnb in the half of the garden that's separated from the garden garden by a row of trees. He now seems to think all this must be done before a baby arrives as to him all normal life will cease to exist for about 4 years after and all our money will be ploughed into baby. He's being ridiculous, 3 bedroom house is more than big enough for a family of 4 and babies aren't actually that expensive, it's kids that are expensive! Then had to explain how shit I feel at the moment between the hormones and the crippling fear so no I'm not actually allowing myself to be happy yet. I think he was making a jokey comment but it don't go down well!
I'd kill for a Starbucks just now 😂

@Justanothercyster another lube non user over here 🙋🏻‍♀️ are we broken? I get what it's for and considered the pre seed as it helps the spunkies get where they need to be but just bog standard lube would be a bit redundant with me 😳 tmi 😂

@Minster2012 I love this bus because it's such a mixed bag. I read all the ivf bits because it's not something I know a lot about and this way I don't have to ask my irl friend who is going through it as if she doesn't offer up the info I don't want to push her but she seems to quite like when I know a little bit about it without actually asking iyswim? I don't like the pregnancy boards tbh. I love all you guys because you have been so supportive and keeping up with you all is so nice. I want to be here to celebrate you all getting your bfps when they happen as you did for me. I'm also not going to lie, I will absolutely need you all more than ever if this isn't a happy outcome (trying to be more positive but I've also got to be realistic) and end up back ttc. I try to keep pregnancy chat to the other bumps who are hanging out in here and don't blame anyone who doesn't want to read that on here. I'm a bit useless at rhr, opks, temping etc etc as I just go with ewcm, an apps prediction and regularly jumping on oh around that time 🙈 but I love all the other chat and the heads up on funny threads! P.s it's not that you don't have a life, you have a very full life, it's just that you are an amazingly caring person so check in on all of us!!
P.p.s i feel really bad about my bfp as I popped in for advice on frer use to see if I could have a heavy weekend after taking a month out for my own sanity thinking I was definitely out and could then get back on the ttc from month 1 of a new year after a lovely bottle or two of wine. I had been awol for ages.

@HollieL567 sorry you are feeling this way, I'm almost in the same boat and it's utterly shit! I'm a high risk pregnancy rather than a previous loss but I think it messes with your head in a similar way. I don't do rhr or anything like that so have nothing to go on but have exactly your worries and fears. Easy to say to someone else but try to remember no two pregnancies are the same and my mw told me at booking that no morning sickness is actually very common and not a reason to worry

@2020mission I really struggled being on anything ttc related around a bfn and when af was in the house. Felt so completely and utterly useless and seeing bfps then just made me want to cry 😢

@gem176 they can be a bloody nightmare can't they. My DH decided last weekend we HAD to buy the lounge furniture we've put off buying for months, £1100 later. He's like oh I need to do this in the garden, we need a shed, we need that, I'm like woahhhh you do realise we have a baby to buy for soon? He's like yeah yeah course, I want to get all this sorted first, men eh!!!! I had a hot choc with cream, it is something I am loving atm xx

@Kirky658 we've been here over a year now and all I've heard every weekend is "we need to clear upstairs" and it's not happened yet now suddenly it's all panic stations because...... get this..... when baby arrives we won't have a spare room for guests! 1) he is an antisocial bugger who hates visitors so this should be a silver lining and 2) baby sleeps in your room to begin with (dd was about 4 when she moved into her own room as I was a weak bad mum who let her sleep in my bed but her dad worked night shift so he wasn't there and then we split so I never minded 🙈). He was genuinely shocked by this baby in your room revelation, he's 39, a proper grown up, intelligent human with a good job and this was news to him 🙄 men are such funny creatures! He's also currently trying to sell my car to buy me an suv thing 🤯 I love my wee Astra 😭

@DJmum83 your scan is the day before mine, I'm hoping my face to face appointment on 23rd feb will involve a scan as nice says should be scanned early as a diabetic. Should find out at my video appointment on Tuesday, and if not I'll have to either book private and suck up the 400 mile round journey or wait until 15th March 🤨

@Gem176 I booked a private one for then I'll be 8 weeks and if all ok I'll tell family and kids.
Spoke to the midwife yesterday it was the one I had with my wee boy and she is lovely, I'll be consultant led the whole way through and have to have a lot of scan due to 3 previous sections and my large babies.
Feeling really sick today and I coughed and got a sharp pain but I think I remember that from last time.

@MartyMcShy ah rhr only serves to show me when AF is coming 😅. It's far too volatile for ovulation I think but I do see so many ladies with it sky rocketing for a bfp that I'd be buzzing if I had that instead of my normal drop.

@Justanothercyster we never use lube either. I used preseed for a bit before I started taking EPO for EWCM but sorry @paintfairy the idea of needing it for a bullet boggles my mind still 😁

Been on a big walk so far today - 11km or 15.5k steps. Been home half an hour and my fingers still don't work properly so I'm struggling to type this. It's like I'm trying to remote maneuver some chipolatas for keyhole surgery.

Currently eating strawberries and watching the rugby. One warned up I'll crack open the wine I think! Dinner tonight is takeaway pizza 🍕. Oh and I have received a delivery of champagne chocolates and flowers from OH so far ❤️
