Really fed up of AF showing up month after month now 🤦🏼‍♀️ we've been taking the see what happens but dtd lots approach. But now going into month 7 so We've decided to use the clear blue opk's to see if it gives us a better chance. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now to just wait for AF to disappear 😀

I think we think once we get a bfp we can chill when I can imagine that will certainly not be the case 🙈

So I had a static smiley on Saturday 20th so I'm around 11 or 12 dpo depending on what day you start it on 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

@rosiej95 Any little twinge and I'm in a panic, all so new to me... also have a little dull ache that comes off and on in my pelvic area on the right side, might mention that when they get in touch to arrange my first appointment.

I got the below on 9/10dpo!
The next pic is 10/11, 11/12 and today 12/13.
Im stuck between 2 days for ovulation as you can tell!

Thanks for asking! AF arrived last week so into the next cycle, which will be 7 for us. Feel very discouraged as I have such regular cycles it feels like something must be wrong otherwise it should have happened by now. Coupled with a few friends announcing pregnancies this last month who’ve been trying less time time than us it’s been rough.

We decided to take some proactive steps to and book a fertility appointment at the end of April, which has made me feel better this week as we have a next step.

Until then trying to be a bit more relaxed this cycle and not worry so much about opk testing all the time.

@km1990 perfectly normal to feel that way. I am the same. Was moaning to a friend tonight on the phone. Can't think of anything else to change and there's constantly nothing. I have got to the point where I know my ovulation without the tests and still nothing. Thankfully I don't have others getting pregnant. The thought gives me absolute dread so I can only imagine. You want to be happy for them but you want it so badly.
Is the fertility appointment private or just NHS? We have his SA this coming week.
My AF is due mother's day. What a thought. Decided to have a big bar of chocolate and a bigger glass of gin if/when it appears.

@km1990 sorry to hear that, I can somewhat relate, I’ve had people close to me announcing their pregnant and wasn’t even trying or it’s been very quick - it’s so disheartening after you’ve been trying so long! I feel like I’m one of the last ones.

I don’t think I can seek help until it’s been around a year from the nhs so still got a few months to go.

Let’s hope our time is coming 🤞

I've been on here for a few months & quite a few people I've spoke to have got there bfp cycle 7 so 🤞🏻 it's our lucky number!

@Loops01 what a kick in the teeth of a day for af to be due 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have everything crossed for you that she stays away 🤞🏻☺️

@Loops01 I have ovulation predicted for Mothers' Day! Either way it's going to be an emotional day I had AF due on Christmas Day, piled massive pressure on myself thinking how awesome it would be to have that Christmas present, and imagining the look on OH's face. I cried buckets.

Morning everyone! Thanks @Loops01 and @AZ1992X - its comforting to know that others feel this way as well. You never think as a young woman that this is how your TTC journey will go!

We have gone privately for the initial tests as with NHS we do need to wait a year and our surgery already has a waitlist for fertility referrals. At the moment its expensive but manageable to go privately so I thought we'd get the ball rolling.

@Loops01, fingers crossed for some good news on the SA. Be keen to hear what they provide to you once you have your results if you don't mind sharing. My DH will be having his end of April. If AF does arrive a big gin is my treat on CD1 as well.

and thanks @rosiej95 - its always nice to hear of people who fall pregnant in those later months of trying. Keeping everything crossed for all of us!

@TTCat39 I do the exact same thing of picturing it all working. End up feeling delusional and so alone! At least I am not alone AF mothers day wise! Really getting fed up of AF month after month!

@km1990 let me know how you get on with your private testing. It's something I've looked at but not truely considered yet but the more AF the more impatient I become. I will keep you posted SA wise. I think he is a bit nervous but I just have that feeling that neither of us have real issues and it's just a time thing. Bit annoying that nhs will test him because it's so easy but won't consider me until after the 1 year mark. There's barely anything a guy needs to do yet woman have so much more invasive exams. Lucky pricks. They don't even have to go through this emotional roller-coaster every month. Hoping to get my own back one day soon when I feel the baby move and kick and he can't. Haha. Bit mean but they have it so easy! 🤣

I got what I thought was a very very faint line on a frer this morning. My thinking was tho that if it was faint this morning then it'll be darker by this evening & it's not?

I think I'm like 14dpo now apps saying af is due in 4 days but it also told me ovulation was 2 days later then my static smiley.
I would have thought by 14dpo there would be a obvious line by now.

I'm just going to give up with testing now & just wait for af to turn up. 😞

I’m not sure, could you possibly get a stronger reading when you do it in the morning? This wait is horrible just waiting to know if AF to turn up.

I think I’m around 7dpo now, so too early still for me, I’m thinking of waiting until Tuesday/Wednesday and may test.

Cycle 8 we go 😞 I honestly thought it would of happened by now :(
I think the thing I'm more annoyed with is having to do another 2ww 😂🙈

Will do, starting to get spells of bloating and the odd twinge but tbf that could be signs of both so not thinking much of it!

Oh Rosie how sad! Very annoying! Surprised about the lines, even if it was faint. Have something nice to console yourself and then keep thinking positive for cycle 8! I have a week until AF. Cramps have stopped now and have absolutely no symptoms so I presume I will he with you for cycle 8, albeit a week behind you. No reason for it taking so long. Its rubbish. Just got to think that one day! Hopefully soon!!

I’m headed into my fertile week and it’s so hard to get keep getting my hopes up over and over again, I will keep my fingers crossed for everyone 🤞🤞🤞

I mean I'm not out until af turns up I guess but I would assume if there was something there it would get darker so counting myself out.

I didn't realise you could swear on here but yes AF is a mother-fucking ball of shit!!! Always reminds me of aunt lydia from handmaid's tale! Never wanted, but always there when you least expect it! If it helps I caved! I took a test and it was definitely a BFN! Not even a hint. I think I am way too early though as only 8dpo I think but have no real hope left for this month. Just want AF out the way to try again next month. Having some chocolate to help! When is your AF due?

8dpo is really early there still hopefully will be chance.
App is saying af is due in 2 days but I ovulated 2 days earlier then the app suggested so I guess any day now? It's 16 days since I got my static smiley. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wondering if to give in and test tomorrow or not ... it would be 10 days since static smiley or shall I try and wait 🙈

looks like it'll be me you and Rosie together for cycle 8 so far. I am also 10dpo and when you believe it's a bfn and just waiting for AF it's so annoying. Just want to be pregnant how difficult is it?!?

From my mad googling session I've had this cycle 😂 a lot of people don't actually get there bfp until around 12dpo +

Once you've realised there's not a chance the wait for af is worse then the 2ww I recon 😂

Oh definitely! At least the 2ww you have some hope and excitement but when you know it's not you just want AF and for it to be over with! I won't be testing again unless AF doesn't appear. I have no symptoms and no AF symptoms either and it's due in 5 days or less (tbh I think I'm due in 2 days but app says longer cycle this month) and it's so frustrating the negative feelings and the waiting.

I’m exactly the same, no symptoms of either - normally I’d start getting bad cramps or getting spotty so will just wait for AF now.

Based on last month it’s due tomorrow or Thursday but my app says it will be later by a few days.

if AF arrives I’m treating myself to a drink and some chocolate aka a lot of it 😂
