Really fed up of AF showing up month after month now 🤦🏼‍♀️ we've been taking the see what happens but dtd lots approach. But now going into month 7 so We've decided to use the clear blue opk's to see if it gives us a better chance. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now to just wait for AF to disappear 😀

Any one else ttc #1? 😀

@AZ1992X that's great! Yeah I keep testing a few days after so it really figures out highs and peaks. What is your peak showing to be? My peak was 2 and then by the next day it had dripped to 0.4 at night which it was this morning too. Only test once a day for the next 3 days after peak generally

My last one was 1.3 which I’ve only just took. I took one at half 6 this morning which was also high but then I was out and didn’t get back till just which was annoying as I couldn’t hold my wee in. 🙈guessing it could still go up yet so need to test till it starts going down?

That's good! Yeah it could still go up. I think my average peak thst I've tested is around 1.7 but yeah could keep going up. Once it starts going down I just test once a day. I definitely find it higher afternoons to nights but it is difficult when you can only do it in the morning. At least you know you'll ovulation when it gets lighter ☺

@Loops01 your readings are so high! My peaks used to be around 1.4 but now I’m delighted with a 1.2 these days. Maybe soy will make it stronger.

@rosiej95 aww I’m so so sorry if it was af 💔 the months we try absolutely everything always feel so much harder. Has bleeding come to anything today or was it just that one off..?

@AZ1992X woohoo!! Here’s to ovulation! 1dpo is like my favourite time of the month because all the hard work is over and everything is out with my control and I can relax for a couple of days 😂

The soy definitely made it higher than normal! I've seen someone have a reading of 3. 4 or similar. Mental. Don't think it makes ttc any easier haha.

I've got a private ultrasound booked for tomo which should be usual ultrasound and trans vaginal too to see if there's anything obvious down there that I can't see or feel that may be preventing ttc. I'm nervous about it because if there is something then that's a reason and can hopefully focus on fixing it but then it's also like I don't want there to be anything as I never feel anything odd or different. I'll be 2dpo tomorrow and away on a course when I'm 9dpo. Started with the progesterone cream (Pregnenolone) so unsure whether to test 9dpo before I go, take a test with me or just leave it and prepare for AF. I don't feel hopeful but I don't feel too down about it. Probably just more fed up than anything.

@AZ1992X you're one day behind me! I'd ask about your luteal phase but you just won't know what's going on due to the changes. So great you've confirmed ovulation though and it's not too late cycle wise really! 😁

Hey @Loops01 , I’ve struggled test much today did one first thing again and was slightly lower than yesterday. Might try do one later tonight or if not tomorrow morning just check it defo has dropped and then it’s just a waiting game. OH will be happy to have a break 😂.

@Loops01 how did your scans go? I think I’d be interested in doing a wee private scan to find out how my lining is, I’ve been wondering about that recently.

Scan went really well. It was so reassuring. So both ovaries are fine and cyst free. Both lots of follicles. Right one showed a collapsed follicle meaning that is the one I ovulated from. Cervix and uterus all normal and healthy. My lining was 10mm which she said was good and normal. I later googled everything to make sure but defo all good which is a comfort. I can stop blaming myself now. Although does make me wonder why I'll be going into cycle 12 with no hint of a positive with good results down below and DH has great sa results?!

So one pic is the collapsed follicle in right ovary and then other is endometrium. Just if interested /something different to look at 😂.

I have however picked up some sort of rash from our bday trip. Some say hot tub rash, some say viral infection. Its so weird. Covered in red blotches all over apart from lower arms and hands, nothing on head or feet. Tried out of hours but they said viral infection from a photo and I have to call gp tomo if it gets worse... Well it has! Attached a pic of thigh. It's crazy cos it's not itchy. No idea what it is. Dh has a touch of it on his back but barely anything. I've more in that picture than he has on his entire body.

@rosiej95 are you OK? Worried about not having heard from you in a wee while

@J1990 8 DPO for you? How are you feeling

@AZ1992X I'd say if you got a clear high darker test and now it's negative at least you know you've hit it and welcome to the tww!

@Loops01 that’s amazing news!! How did you find where to go for that? Was it pricy? So pleased for you that it brought you some reassurance.

So weird about the rash though.. I have heard of hot tub rash but surely it won’t be on your feet, hands etc? Glad it’s not itchy!

I’m CD13 today, no sign of darkening OPKs but cervix getting higher and definitely a bit of ewcm starting so hopefully things aren’t delayed by vaccine - all good signs, normally peak around cd17 so we’ll see!

@Amy259 to be fair it sounds like you're still on track. I think I normally get slightly higher, drop a couple then it started to shoot right up so plenty of days to go! So no real change with the soy? I definitely found I had higher readings in general.

Yeah I would have thought it would have been properly all over but hopefully find out from gp tomorrow!

Scan was £135. I googled about and found baby bond ultrasound direct. They seem all over the place. So I went for the fertility scan. They didn't do it in my local area but his family are in Tayside and they had someone qualified there to do it. They were great. I was meant to have it 2 months ago but cos covid messed up cycles I had to keep changing it. They recommended doing it just before peak so you can see everything getting ready but tbh I was 2dpo and it was great knowing that lining was thick and egg popped 😂. They don't do tubes though as that is the more complicated one with dye. Hysco something but they don't offer that. She was able to see part of one of my tubes though and said it looked fine. She said generally they will only see the tubes if it's really close to the ovary (mine) or if they are filled with fluid or infection which didn't show up. She wasn't worried about that for me. It was really good. I said it was nice to see everything. Like I know i have this stuff and see pictures but don't actually know what my own insides look like. Silly to say maybe but I like knowing. Plus it ruled out any odd cervix or tilted or different shaped uterus too!

@Loops01 can’t really say about the soy yet, bit early days. I’m hoping for stronger readings with it, but if not I’m going to try a different brand - I’m not convinced by the stuff I used.

I had my coil removed in hosp and the gynaecologist checked my ovaries then and said they looked healthy, but it would be nice to get everything checked. I’ve been referred to nhs for scan but who knows how long that will take - there’s a place here in Falkirk that do it for £125 so I’ll keep them in mind and maybe go there.

So last test down to 0.64 and I checked by bbt as it’s been easier track that as I get up similar time every morning and can see it has risen so just waiting now.

I rang my gp and asked if my blood test is still valid and the receptionist said yes and they are cycle 1-6 day test so going try and book them in - think I will feel better if they come back ok. Was to check my hormone levels and thyroid etc as that runs in the family.

I've had a right Rolland coaster of emotions this weekend.
So I tested yesterday morning & im not going to lie.. I seen the faintest of lines & then I tweaked the photo & with the editing can see a line a bit more.
But then throughout the day the spotting had a few red bits :/ so I don't think it's a bfp cause I tested yesterday late afternoon & again there was hardly anything there & im still spotting so think it's to long for implantation & im just having my week long spotting before my AF which I sometimes do :/

So I've spent the weekend moping, eating absolute crap & just feeling sorry for myself ready to move on to cycle 12 😂😂🤦🏼‍♀️

how many DPO would you be today? , have you a photo of the test at all? Would it help if we had a look.

@AZ1992X great news about your tests and bbt confirming. I temp too but they’ve been a bit wonky with the warm nights, my last two mornings have been randomly higher than they should be.

@rosiej95 aww no, I absolutely hate the rollercoaster of hope and heartbreak at the end of a cycle. Do you think the lines were indents? Two cycles ago I had bad lines with a batch of easy@home hcg strips and it was a brutal few days. Hope you get certainty soon and can move on!

@rosiej95 ah didn't realise that you spot before AF. To be fair it could still be implantation. I guess it is just a wait and see. Sorry love 😔.

@Amy259 didn't realise you got those checked but that is handy. To be honest I feel less stressed now knowing that the majority is OK! Will see how this cycle goes but with earlier ovulation than planned, hot tub, alcohol, the rash and not as much bd-ing, I'm not feeling too hopeful but I do now feel like I will continue with healthy eating, no alcohol for the majority of cycle, vits, soy and fertilily and lube for the rest of the cycles until we get help fertility wise (probably late Oct).

MIL used the scan to speak to me about things for the first time. Dh told her. I said that I feel so much better and I know that I have tried everything I can and I mean everything. She then said I should do the temping. I said I would like to but I can't with my shifts. She said just set an alarm for 5am every morning. I was like but some times at that time I'm working my nightshift. She said yeah just take your temp then. Take a thermometer to work. I was like no i think it has to be a consistent ish time when waking up. She was like no just the same time every day. I said but my body with shifts won't know when is day or night at times. Is this something I could do? I literally 7am - 4pm,7am-5pm,3pm-11pm,3pm-12am,3pm-1am and 10pm-7am. Although I am held on very often during the 3pm shifts and sometimes during the 7am shifts. I would have thought it would be too difficult for body? Made me feel down a bit. She literally wouldn't listen to everything else I've done or doing cos 'that worked for her' and her daughter 'got pregnant quick' and other people in work 'are getting pregnant quick so theres clearly not any issues'. I felt like saying none of them have partners in the job. Dh and I have a max of 4 days off a month. Most other couples see their partners every evening or morning. But I didn't have the chance. So that made me feel bit rubbish. Thankfully DH came in as he noticed j was bombarded by her 😂. She means well but it's so much easier said than done this whole process!

@Loops01 not as much bd-ing?! Didn’t you say you bd every night for like 4 in a row?! That’s plenty of bd-ing, how much do you normally do?!? 😂😂

Also, your MIL is wrong I’m afraid - the point of bbt is that it’s “basal”. It’s at rest, after at least 3 hours of unbroken sleep. Your temp will not be accurate at all if you’re going about daily life! Taking a drink, climbing stairs, being outside, anything and everything affects your temperature. So tracking it will be very inaccurate and will no doubt add to your stress, so I wouldn’t even bother if I was you.

Yeah I’m sticking to vits, soy, ferti lily, zero booze now, but really praying that it’ll happen this cycle!

Haha! We normally do more earlier. So I only got 3 of 5 of the fw but all those days was hot tub, alcohol and unhealthy food so his little men were probably frazzled and drunk like a lads trip to ibiza 😂.

Thank you! I did think that! I haven't looked too much into it because I thought it was something I wouldn't manage. Plus the cat used to want out during the morning sleep so it would have been disturbed that way too.

Bound to be one of us this cycle youd think. J will be next to find out, then me and then az then you! Still hope yet for Rosie really!

Hi ladies

Sorry, I've been feeling dreadful! Woke up at 1am because I was cramping so badly I thought I had come on my period but instead had diarrhea (I would say tmi but I'm sure we are all past that by now!), body aches and a temperature. I don't feel sick or anything, just crampy & anything I eat comes straight out again. Very odd!

Today I am 9dpo and usually have luteal phase of 11 days so expecting AF v soon. Part of me wonders if this is a build up to an awful period as I've heard some people really suffering after having had the vaccine.

@loops01 aren't MILs fun 🙃 I had mine telling me just to make sure I'm having sex around the 14th day. Just because it happened super easily for you, doesn't mean it does for everyone. Similar situation to you where I'm sure her intentions are in the right place but it can come across as a little patronising. I am so glad your scans went well! How is the rash now? V annoying. But glad you seemed to have a fun time away!

@rosiej95 I'm sorry 😔 I usually spot before my period too & I get my hopes up that it might be implantation bleeding. Spotting a week before your period does sound excessive though. I can't remember, have you had bloods done yet?

@rosiej95 aww I hate FRER - they’re banned from my house for this very reason. Half of them you can see the second line before you even pee on them. But I do see it, you’re not going crazy!! I think it’s pretty impossible to call it, more waiting unfortunately 💔💔

Agree, if you squint I can see a very faint line - hard to say yet. Hopefully you’ll find out soon ❤️

@rosiej95 yeah I agree that I do see a slight line. I have never used those tests so not sure if it's an indent line - I'm no good with positive tests but I can see a vfaint line. Is that from the other day? What time did you take the test? Maybe darker later. Obviously as days go on it should be but I don't think you're silly to think it may be positive. Sorry its not clear!!

I'm pretty sure I'm out & AF will be arriving properly soon but I'm kinda in the mindset where if I have a slight bit of hope then I've got a couple of extra days not being disappointed 😂😂🤷🏼‍♀️

@Loops01 ye, was first thing in the morning yesturday I did it.

I've got a couple more tests coming tomorrow AF has pretty much gone atm so if she's here a bit more then I'll keep the tests for next cycle but if she doesn't really show again tomorrow I'll test again. 🤷🏼‍♀️
