Hi, does anyone want to come and keep me company? Currently ttc#3 and I don’t know how many dpo I am as my cycles have been a bit unpredictable for the last year but I’d say between 8 and 12 dpo at a guess. I had a chemical in September and a miscarriage at about 6 weeks in early November. This month has been the first month we started trying again and I wasn’t going to test early but after feeling knackered and iffy all weekend I did an impulsive test last night before bed and got the faintest squinter ever. This morning I tested again and got a faint but definitely there positive that my phone camera managed to pick up 😬.

I don’t even want to tell DP yet as the last 2 BFPs didn’t stick. I don’t know what do do with myself today in between homeschooling and the kids have picked today to be really motivated and not needing much help from me.

@Hoplop I was the opposite when my mum was pregnant, I was fed up of the brother I already had so I really wanted a sister. My mum found out she was having a boy but didn’t know how to tell me so I didn’t find out till he was born and my mum spent months panicking. I wasn’t actually disappointed (much) in the end and it turned out my baby brother was miles less irritating than my other brother and I thought he was just the best thing ever. We all get on really well now, both of my brothers are up there with my favourite people.

I also adored my baby brother soon as he was born, I thought he was my real life doll 😂!

I think we probs won’t be patient enough to wait, and I think if it’s a girl you want to make the most of buying pretty girly things!

Is it a preggo symptom to be sneezing constantly? Feel like my hayfever is here already but can’t be as it’s snowing and way too early! I prob will have a lot of questions for you ladies since this is first baby!

Secretsquirrelisfedup · 11/02/2021 13:57

@daisyorange2 it’s possible as rhinitis can be a pregnancy thing so could be to do with that.

I'd decided to wait 48hrs to test again, hoping to be reassured and see the line getting stronger. So I didn't test with FMU this morning, I then decided I couldn't wait and have now got a BFP. It could just be because the urine was quite diluted, but I'm really worried I've had another CP Sad

Secretsquirrelisfedup · 11/02/2021 15:16

Oh @whitershadeofpale try not to worry just yet. 11dpo is still really early on and like you said you didn’t use FMU which can make a huge difference in the first few days. Nobody can tell you that it’s definitely fine or definitely a bad sign but unless you have intense cramps or bleeding try to take your mind off it for now and do another test in the morning with FMU. A test done half way through the day with diluted wee the day after a faint positive is never going to be a good indicator of whether things are progressing or not.

Hi all I'm 7dpo and got a bfp today. I'll wait another week and test again then.

daisyorange2 · 11/02/2021 17:05

@whitershadeofpale the tests I did without a 48 hours between didn't have much difference. Definitely better to wait. I know it’s difficult but it’s very early days x

daisyorange2 · 11/02/2021 17:05

Congrats and welcome @dippyegg32

Secretsquirrelisfedup · 11/02/2021 18:00

Congrats @dippyegg32.

Hope everyone has had a good day. I got all excited about how beautiful the day looked and took the kids for a walk in the woods once they finished their stuff for school. We nearly turned into icicles 🥶.

So after a terrible night’s sleep I took another test with FMU today. And the line is back and darker than when I first tested positive (top test is 10dpo, today is 12dpo). I’m so relieved. Just hoping to get to Monday which is the day AF is due now.

Good morning everyone.

In my list of mixed blessings today, my boobs have inflated so much already that none of my bras fit properly. Very reassuring but so uncomfortable and a few years of gravity since last time they were this big is doing nothing for my self esteem 😖.

Has anyone got any comfy bra recommendations for big cup sizes with smallish back sizes that actually offer some support without a wire?

Secretsquirrelisfedup · 12/02/2021 08:16

Excellent news @whitershadeofpale I’m so pleased for you 😁

whitershadeofpale · 12/02/2021 08:20

Thanks @Secretsquirrelisfedup I had such an awful night's sleep and am so relived, I keep looking at it to make sure I didn't dream it!

I get all my bras from Bravissmo (although I've mainly been wearing their pajama tops with built in support during lockdown) but I've heard good things about Molke.

Secretsquirrelisfedup · 12/02/2021 08:28

Thanks @whitershadeofpale they look amazing I will definitely give them a go 😁.

Congrats @whitershadeofpale great news!!

@Secretsquirrelisfedup also have a look at Sloggi, they’re not the prettiest but they’re super comfy. I also like H&M.

Got a bit of a bloat going on today and my jeans are prettttttty tight but I think they were that way before thanks to lockdown 🤣

Leonberger · 12/02/2021 09:57

Congrats @whitershadeofpale!!

I’m also really bloated! I’m not sure if I’ve just put weight on from having to self isolate for 2 weeks though Grin

Secretsquirrelisfedup · 12/02/2021 10:19

Thanks @daisyorange2 comfort is number 1 priority so I’ll definitely have a look. The bloat is real, 5 year old patted my tummy this morning and said “oh mummy I wish that was a baby in there not just food.” She is brutal. Can’t wait to tell her she’s going to be a big sister though. 😁

Happy Friday ladies! According to Natural Cycles I'm exactly 4 weeks today - took another CB this morning and was very happy to see it has ticked over to the next weeks segment.

I always thought I'd be quite logical about the early stages knowing how common miscarriages are but it's like a switch has been flipped - im so anxious and can't stop googling statistics and signs. Need to try and reign it in.

Very jealous of the boobs @Secretsquirrelisfedup 😂, I've just been so crashingly tired this week, I can't stop napping!

I've been thinking about whether or not to pay for an early reassurance scan at 7/8 weeks - are any of you ladies planning to go for one?

englishgirlinscotland · 12/02/2021 16:45

Ah, although read your post properly @Secretsquirrelisfedup and my comment is actually a bit insensitive - i'm sorry! Hope some nice comfy new bras will help you feel more comfortable

Leonberger · 12/02/2021 16:51

I’ve had horrible annoying cramp all afternoon, no bleeding but I’m really worried now Sad

englishgirlinscotland · 12/02/2021 17:12

Oh sorry to hear that @Leonberger - try not to panic though, from what I've read cramping is super common and most of the time isn't anything to worry about? I've definitely had cramps/random pains too!

Leonberger · 12/02/2021 17:15

@englishgirlinscotland thank you! Hope your doing well.

I was going to get an early scan at around 7 weeks anyway but I’m just so worried about this one! I don’t have a clue why, I’m not normally irrational I promise!
I’m going to try and bath and see if it eases up, it’s very much like a mild period cramp or an ache but it’s gone on all afternoon now! When I’ve had it previously it’s been a few minutes then gone!

Secretsquirrelisfedup · 12/02/2021 17:31

@englishgirlinscotland lovely to see you got your 2-3 digital. Don’t worry about being insensitive, it’s funny. They are more matronly than jordanly this time round. I’ll be fine once I get a decent bra though 😁.

@Leonberger fingers crossed it eases off and it’s just a sign of normal pregnancy stretching and stuff. If it’s still mild and there’s no blood that’s a good sign. Maybe ring the EPU if it’s still really bothering you tomorrow?

Hi ladies

Just gonna put this out there is it just me or are any of u ladies experiencing night sweats I've had it the last 2 nights I wake on in middle of night all clammy...... 🙈

Secretsquirrelisfedup · 13/02/2021 09:13

Morning everyone.

@Lilbambinoplz I don’t really get sweaty but I do get ridiculously hot. I’m like a radiator at night and even with the windows open and a lighter quilt on I’m struggling to sleep. It’s driving me mad.
