Early BFPs

Hi, does anyone want to come and keep me company? Currently ttc#3 and I don’t know how many dpo I am as my cycles have been a bit unpredictable for the last year but I’d say between 8 and 12 dpo at a guess. I had a chemical in September and a miscarriage at about 6 weeks in early November. This month has been the first month we started trying again and I wasn’t going to test early but after feeling knackered and iffy all weekend I did an impulsive test last night before bed and got the faintest squinter ever. This morning I tested again and got a faint but definitely there positive that my phone camera managed to pick up 😬.

I don’t even want to tell DP yet as the last 2 BFPs didn’t stick. I don’t know what do do with myself today in between homeschooling and the kids have picked today to be really motivated and not needing much help from me.

Hi, I'm new here and don't know jf this is the correct place to post. I'm looking to buy a pregnancy test (early but cheap) I'm stuck between boots own and Superdrug own. Im 12 dpo and have gotten vvvvfl on IC but bfn on fr and clear blue 😒. If there is any other recommendations you have id love to hear about them (UK ONLY) thank u so much x

@Mumma19 I like the early at home strips I get them of Amazon and find them really clear and sensitive.

@Leonberger the EPU are scanning me at 6 and a half weeks (two weeks today) due to ectopic last time. I got the call today.
I presume, therefore, that it’s an ok time to see something (in the right place hopefully in my case) but I don’t think it’s early enough to see the heart beat.
That’s another week along I think. 7.5 weeks.

Exciting tho!!! It will go really quickly! X x

@Secretsquirrelisfedup I’ve woken up feeling quite anxious and practically hunting for symptoms.... Had a dream that I was bleeding and it was so realistic. Horrible!

Oh @Hoplop virtual hugs, that’s awful. Dreams definitely aren’t prophecies though otherwise I would be able to fly and my 3 bed semi would have loads of secret rooms. Take it easy today if you can and do something for you that makes you feel good.

Big hugs @Hoplop. It’s such a nail biting time isn’t it. I still keep checking for blood every time I go to the loo - force of habit and past experience 😔

Should I be worried if on a frer test my line isnt darkening? I’m due AF between wed and Saturday due to cycles varying in length by few days each time. x

@Hoplop how strange! I had the same sort of dream last night that I was bleeding and miscarried. Woke up feeling really down and unsure about the whole thing!
It does not help symptoms wise I don’t have much. Maybe slightly sore boobs that come and go but that’s it!

Sorry to hear you’ve had the same experience @Leonberger. Such a worrying time.

I’ve been feeling slightly nauseous in the evenings but I don’t know if that’s just anxiety in my stomach as that’s the time of day where I don’t really have anything else to do so just symptom spot!!

@Lilbambinoplz of course you can join. Have you got pictures of your tests?

Hope it's okay if I join you ladies? I got my BFP yesterday morning followed by a 'Pregnant 1-2' weeks on a digital. I'm actually due on today, and I think I'm currently 11DPO ish. Its my first ever BFP so I've now immediately started thinking about all the things that can go wrong - I feel like I've not even felt any excitement yet!

Congratulations @englishgirlinscotland, we’re all in the same boat with the anxiety and struggling to let ourselves get excited I think. It should get easier as you get further along though and we are all here for support when you need it. X

@Lilbambinoplz, I’d say the middle one does look darker than the top one and it’s not bad for 2 days difference. You can’t really compare the clear blue as they are completely different. I’d recommend getting a box of strips if you’re going to keep testing or just sticking to one kind of test but the plastic ones are expensive to keep using. I think you’ll notice more difference after a couple more days x

@Secretsquirrelisfedup Thank you...... I think I'm going to wait until weekend before I test again and use the digital that I have left like u say they can be expensive there's definitely lines there..... I'll just retest on AF due date to be sure.

Ahh nice to see the new ladies on here! Welcome! Testing before your AF is due will always give faint lines on a normal preg test.
If you get the first response then you may get a dark line by the time you’re due on.
I tested on the Tuesday and Friday (three days apart) last week with first morning urine and there was a difference.
Since I’m just keeping everything crossed til my early scan on the 22nd.

@Secretsquirrelisfedup had a sad day at work, home now but worried one of my patients wont last til I get back in tomorrow and feeling guilty for not staying later. Having a lot of miscarriage thoughts and feeling a bit knackered- I have a mild cramp a bit like PMS. I just want everything to be okay so badly
