Early BFPs

Hi, does anyone want to come and keep me company? Currently ttc#3 and I don’t know how many dpo I am as my cycles have been a bit unpredictable for the last year but I’d say between 8 and 12 dpo at a guess. I had a chemical in September and a miscarriage at about 6 weeks in early November. This month has been the first month we started trying again and I wasn’t going to test early but after feeling knackered and iffy all weekend I did an impulsive test last night before bed and got the faintest squinter ever. This morning I tested again and got a faint but definitely there positive that my phone camera managed to pick up 😬.

I don’t even want to tell DP yet as the last 2 BFPs didn’t stick. I don’t know what do do with myself today in between homeschooling and the kids have picked today to be really motivated and not needing much help from me.

Yes here’s mine @Secretsquirrelisfedup, can’t stop staring and guessing boy/girl 🤣 it’s not the greatest pic as was so much jerky movement! What do you think? My guess is girl I think.

@daisyorange2 I think if I had to guess I would guess girl too but that’s based purely on gut feeling.

Annoyingly I don’t have any gut feelings about my own when it comes to the sex but I can see a cute little face.

Such cute little profiles. Can’t wait for my next one so I can hopefully get a clearer look at the face as baby was just too wriggly this time 😊

@daisyorange2 watching them wriggle is amazing though. I’m jealous, my little one was not for moving at all much like my daughter in the mornings 😂.

@Secretsquirrelisfedup it was lovely! When my husband came in baby turned all the way round so had it’s back to us and then back again so we got a 360 turn - it was amazing to see!!

I had my first consultants appointment today and both the consultant and the nurse with him were absolutely blooming lovely, so very helpful and they’ve helped me sort out a non pregnancy related issue that I’ve been fobbed off about for ages too because I asked if it was any risk to the pregnancy. I have 3 extra growth scans booked for after the 20 weeks scan too.

That’s amaZing @Secretsquirrelisfedup makes such a diff when you get nice doctors and nurses doesn’t it! I’m already so excited for our next scan, I wonder if I’ll ever just relax! Don’t want to wish it away but until you start feeling kicks it’s strange isn’t it. I don’t have a bump yet either so hard to believe it’s all happening!

For some reason I haven’t been getting email notifications and missed all of these. 14 weeks now and definitely a lot bigger than last time around!

Yay @Lisyloo725 and @Hoplop lovely photos. The post limit is 1000 posts which is 40 pages so we are just over half way but I think mumsnet is acting up quite a lot recently. I got an email to say someone had posted yesterday Lisy but there was no new post when I looked, it must have been you.

@daisyorange2 I’m feeling the same, I keep thinking I’ve got a bump but then it vanishes and it’s obviously too early for movements yet so it’s like a waiting game to get out of limbo. I know it definitely gets easier to relax and enjoy it once the movements start though for me. Not that far off now 😬.

We had our scan yesterday they have put me slightly ahead of what I thought 13+5 today was in there for about an hour baby wasn't playing ball and they couldn't get to measure of anything but eventually we got there.

I’m fine thank you, wishing time would hurry up a little bit, it’s still going to slow for me.
My sickness has also pretty much gone so I’ve made up for lost time by eating everything

I no longer fit into any jeans and it’s starting to get a bit more noticeable. I’m 13+5 today!

@Leonberger glad your sickness has eased off. Mine has been replaced with heartburn but I’m on antibiotics so they might be the cause of that.

I’m just trying to find some decent maternity leggings, my bump isn’t always visible but any pressure on my lower tummy feels horrible so jeans and my normal leggings aren’t comfy at all at the moment.

@Lilbambinoplz and @Leonberger I’m 13 + 5 too! We’re due date buddies 🥰 glad everyone has had their scans and all has gone well.

I’m still sick today. So so so tired, I thought this would ease up by now!?

@Secretsquirrelisfedup I picked up some second hand JoJo leggings and they’ve been so comfortable this week (and stayed up!). I’m quite short so I don’t know if that’s contributing to my ridiculous popping outwards!

I was really sick until 16 weeks last time but this one seems to be making me sick on and off. Hopefully we must all be nearing the end of it though!

@Secretsquirrelisfedup I’ve had to buy gaviscon already! I escaped it until the last few weeks last time. I also feel quite a bit of pressure, it’s quite sore if I try and lie on my front or wear tight trousers. I’m normally quite slim so I think that’s why it’s so obvious

DC1 was 3 weeks early, not sure if second babies usually follow the first?!

@Secretsquirrelisfedup if you find some decent leggings I'd love to no please. I always struggle with leggings at best of times but mine are also getting tighter now as for my jeans they are defiantly a no go.

Second bite here for JoJo leggings. I ordered onli e a d when they came they are like tights material. I thought a bit strange at first but great - soooo comfy and ultra black.
I got a medium a d in normally a size 10-12.

They are lush! I’m converted (to that tights material). Ps. You couldn’t wlwear them with only a top on. You’d need a skirt of some kind. Which suits me. Just thought I’d mention. The bum area is ‘like tights’. X x x

Bloody hormones 😫😫😫. My little girl got a golden award at school today and they invited parents to a zoom assembly to celebrate and I really struggled not to full on cry when I saw her happy little face. A few tears may have escaped and I’m really embarrassed.
