4 DPO and already feeling stressed and irritable about it. Shifts til Thurs to keep me busy but what then? It just seems like forever. Will 100% be caving and testing later in the week because I have zero self control.

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining :) it's our first month TTC! I ovulated, I think, on Thursday last week, day 18 of my cycle! My cycles are only 27/28 days long so I'm waiting to see if AF turns up in a week or not! Don't know if there's any point testing before then? It's our first, so no idea of what symptoms to expect but every time my tummy aches I think/hope something is happening in there :) wishing you all the luck! Xx

Me please! But I won't be great company. Had a possible chemical pregnancy last month, now on second month TTC second baby. I should have ovulated last Monday, but no temp rise yet so I have no idea what's going on. CD20 now and I'm going mad! Glad to have some company

I'm on my second cycle trying for baby #2. What about you both? I was emotionally outraged when I wasn't pregnant last month, despite knowing it wasn't very likely.

I'm envying your ever so slightly shorter cycles @CupcakeLady06. Mine are 30 and those extra 2 days feel like quite a while.

7/8 DPO here. TTC baby no.1 cycle 4 now. Was utterly convinced we'd done it last month and then period showed up 4 days early. Having all the same symptoms now - sore boobs, weird dreams, stuffy nose (yes apparently that is a bizarre pg symptom - thanks Google) waves of just feeling a bit off etc. But I'm trying so hard to tell myself it's PMS as period due at the weekend 😬

Aahaha @LAgeDeRaisin fully on board with your emotional outrage, I was similarly a bit "wtf?" First baby (2yo DD) was a bit of an oopsie-baby, so naturally I just assumed that it would be effortless this time around too.

I can't recommend temping tbh. It's turning me into a mad data hound and I think my DP is getting a bit peeved by being woken up every morning with little beeping noises and me muttering "for fucks sake" under my breath.

Imagine what I'm going to be like a few more months down the line?!

@hels301990 can I join you on the symptom spotting too? Had no idea a stuffy nose was a sign?! My Google history is an embarrassing of "[insert barely perceptible physical sensation] early pregnancy sign"

6/7 DPO for me! Ut really drags doesn't it. I only have sore boobs so far which I always have in the lead up to AF. Had a bit of a twinge in my abdomen this morning but were two years into trying now and apart from one chemical pregnancy we've not had a sniff of a BFP but have had plenty of "symptoms" every cycle.

Irregular cycles averaging at 39 days so the wait is looooong

Last month the 2ww manifested in 2 weeks of PMS. My poor DH.

Hahaha my plan is to try and wait till at least Friday. Due Sat/Sun and by the day before I can usually tell by a bit of brown discharge so if I haven't had that I'll test (guarantee I'll now wake up and have come on tomorrow or something annoying) when are you guys planning on testing?
Tbf don't quote me on the nose thing but I read somewhere it was the oestrogen increasing your blood flow 🤷‍♀️

I’m 4/5 days DPO. Peak ovulation according to CB Tests on Thursday 28th January. Can’t help but symptom spot! Headache all day today which is very unlike me! First time ttc for first baby!

@Mybobowler yes! Last time we had one half arsed go and that was that. A one hit wonder. I have a feeling this time will be trickier.

@ChristmasJumpers that sounds really tough, especially with the long cycles. Are you ovulating? Sperm okay?

Fingers crossed for everyone! I had no idea how all-consuming this would end up being. Can't believe I thought I would approach this with any amount of chill.

@hels301990 I'm going to hold off testing until at least Sunday. I have insanely short cycles (alternating 22/25 days - weird). But if my temps aren't lying, I haven't even ovulated yet. Wait... am I an intruder on this thread? I'm sure I'm just waiting for AF to show up now!

I'll probably test from 8dpo (so Friday) because I have a huge box of early detection ICs and they're not going to pee on themselves. No clinical reasoning other than that 8DPO is nearly 9, which is nearly 10, which is sort of acceptable.

I've only got 2 frer tests which were pricy for things you wee on so I'm going to try so hard not to waste them 😂

For anyone feeling guilty about symptom spotting, I'm a doctor and even I've fallen foul of wondering if my fatigue/sweat/urinary frequency/nose hair growth rate means I'm pregnant...

(Rather than just a sweaty knackered hairy mess with no time to pee)

Thank goodness for face masks... (although they do make my nose run so... )

Can I join the 2ww as well please? We are TTC #1, and I had my copper coil removed early December, which makes this cycle 2. I think I'm about 7 dpo as well. This is cd33 for me. I thought I had ovulated already but then I got my static face on cb.

@LAgeDeRaisin I've no idea yet. Tested for PCOS 2 years ago which was all clear but have an appointment at the fertility clinic at the end of March to look more into it. DH hadn't been tested at all yet and hasn't been included on my appointment letter either. I'm sure most couples are usually both asked to attend!

@ChristmasJumpers I'd give them a ring about that to check as it's a lot quicker and easier to test him first! Might be an oversight and they might want him to bring a sample. Good you have an appt despite covid though!

I have an almost 3 year old and had MMC last year, took a TTC break but back to it for 2021

My PMS symptoms have been exactly the same as my pregnancy symptoms (except tiny implantation bleed with one pregnancy at 7dpo and major nausea 9dpo with the other) but still i symptom spot like a crazy woman! X
