4 DPO and already feeling stressed and irritable about it. Shifts til Thurs to keep me busy but what then? It just seems like forever. Will 100% be caving and testing later in the week because I have zero self control.

1. Going to test tomorrow AM from when I'll take a wine break til I have a conclusive negative.

my dh asked what wine he should pick up in shop today. I was also thinking of getting sushi!

AF due sunday, tested twice today so im taking that as bfp.

I could have swore i was out this month really strong AF symptons. Hoping it sticks.

Congratulations @rosegold33!!! That's such exciting news! I did the same thing last month, took a test, the dog cried so I left it for half an hour and then I had to take another one to confirm the positive. Fingers crossed for you that all goes well!

Hi @BelleBeau we've been trying for five months as well, time does add up over time. I wasn't on the coil but I had the implant and despite loads of googling of people who got pregnant straight away my cycles have been a bit all over the place since.

I got a positive OPK today which was pretty exciting! I only managed to get one once before, so hopefully my cycle will continue and temp will rise in a bit, though this is a week later than usual.

@LAgeDeRaisin 11dpo today. Bfn yesterday and could have sworn it was AF symptons including v.hormonal like i normally get before AF. X

Hello! I am only 5 days past ovulation but feeling my boobs are swollen and sore, think definitely overthinking and could just as well be normal cycle symptom. I had a miscarriage in march though and it was my boobs that triggered me to take a test last time. Is anyone else guilty of overthinking signs and symptoms way too soon?!

My stupid app has finally confirmed I ovulated three days ago. Really wracking my brains to remember when we had sex but I think we're in with a shot? God, this is complicated.

Hi all, I'm 4DPO and really want to test but it's obviously too early, it's good to know I'm not the only impatient person, also huge congratulations to everyone who got a positive.

I'm new here. Well technically I'm not new, I was here years ago whilst TTC my son - so I'm just returning.
We've just started TTC again, excited and nervous at the same time.
I'm 37 and my children are 11 & 8 so I'm worried about how easily i'll conceive this time (if at all).
I think I'm 1 DPO, I'm still getting to grips with my cycle and signs as I only had coil taken out in December.

Anybody else have a short cycle? Mine are around 21-23 days so I ovulate almost straight after my period has finished which is a bit annoying, I just don't feel ready for it if that makes sense?

Also wondering if anybody has any recommendations for tests? Wondered if any of the cheap ones on eBay are any good? I want to be able to test as early as possible as I'm so impatient

I'm either 14dpo or 11dpo (I've got all the tracking apps and they're giving me different ovulation dates!). This is our first cycle TTC #2 and I'm still bfing a child who doesn't sleep so not able to reliably track bbt. Not sure whether to wait a few days to see if AF makes an appearance before testing. I stupidly did a test a few days ago - BFN, but could have been far too early to test depending on when I actually ovulated.

@Magnum99 I bought a multipack of 50 ICs on Amazon for around the same as 1 box of FRER; I don't think the brand is important but just check whatever you buy are sensitive to 10mIU/ml HCG.

For reference Clear Blue are only sensitive to 25 and FRER are sensitive to 6mIU/ml.

I have in fact just peed on one and got a BFN, but I am 8DPO and likely not pregnant so that may not be the test's fault!

Anybody else not pregnant at 8DPO and totally outraged about it?

@LAgeDeRaisin testing brings do much emotion especially when its bfn. Youre still early everything can change.

I remember with my first i didnt test until days after AF was due i didnt realise you could test before. Mumsnet has alot to answer for

With both pregnancies I had stark white negative 10dpo the positives on FRER 11dpo so you’ve got plenty of time yet @LAgeDeRaisin 🤞 I’m only 6dpo now and it’s dragging so much! Determined to not test before Monday! X

It's completely illogical I know; there is no need to test now, but I absolutely will anyway!

@Amz6219 how long are your cycles?

@LAgeDeRaisin they vary between 28 and 33 days, most commonly CD16 ovulation and 29 day cycle. Luteal phase is 13 days and this month I ovulated CD21 which is latest ever so will be 34 day cycle (hopefully not as I’ll get BFP, but probably wishful thinking!) x
