4 DPO and already feeling stressed and irritable about it. Shifts til Thurs to keep me busy but what then? It just seems like forever. Will 100% be caving and testing later in the week because I have zero self control.

My temperature has finally risen today. Like a lunatic, I almost took a test this morning. Argh! I've got cramps and I feel sick but that's more likely to be thanks to the slightly over cheese I ate last night.

@LAgeDeRaisin mine has just turned two! If I'd had my way we'd have started trying a year ago but covid and my DP's precarious job put the brakes on. Can I now say that my insane symptom spotting is medically sanctioned/doctor recommended??

Hope the cheese cramps are masking the implantation cramps @Mybobowler !

@Mybobowler hahaha I tell patients to do the exact opposite of what I actually do (while also reassuring them that it's absolutely normal and lots of people do it). You don't get a medal for serenely waiting til your missed period to test, but you may save yourself some angst and the cost of 27,000 FRERs which could buy you a small semi in zone 3

I'm joining. In just 1 dpo I think. I have birth aug 2019 and still breastfeeding. I've only had one period 40+days ago and since then I've been using the opks.
I had three days of positives in a row 🤔 not sure if this is normal but I did Google and others have experienced it. I had a tonne of egg white discharge yesterday so we dtd band also two days before and four days before so I think we've given it a good go.
I'm just not sure if it is true ovulating especially since my period only appeared once in 1+year
I'm nervous....!

@LAgeDeRaisin picture the scene: I am, best case scenario, 8DPO today. Worst case scenario is that I haven't even ovulated yet. I'm in the bathroom, brushing my teeth before I go to bed and WHAT DO I DO? Reader, I peed on the stick. God help me.

Im 8/9 dpo. Tested today BFN. I feel.really premenstrual - my normal symptons bloated, anxious. Only difference is im having strange dreams but i think im out again this month.

Hey hope you don't mind if I jump in here too. I'm 8/9 DPO today, AF is due on Saturday.
Already having SOME Af symptoms though so I'm probably out.
First month TTC with #2.. #1 is almost 9 😳😂 Had the copper coil for nearly 9 years but was told it wouldn't affect fertility when I had it removed beginning of January. I've absolutely 0 will power and DH works away so I'm also here to hand hold with anyone who needs 😄 I've been testing since 6dpo, absolutely bonkers and completely expected BFN 🤣

I hope you don’t mind me joining in here - I’m going mental and I need someone to talk to!

I am 9DPO today. Had a chemical last month and a miscarriage last summer. Last night at 8DPO and with diluted wee just on a whim tested (no reason I don’t have any symptoms) and got this.

Pls tell me honestly does this look like EVAP or BFP to you? I did another about an hour later with even further diluted wee and got a fainter line but a line no less. I’ve ordered more tests arriving tomorrow.

Haven’t told my husband as don’t want to jump the gun and last months chemical was a rollercoaster.

I see it @daisyorange2 - it's a bit of a squinter for sure, but it's definitely there! Congratulations! Hopefully you'll get a darker line tomorrow but I think you can call that a positive!

You've given me some hope as well. I'm increasingly sure I had a CP last month, despite no clear positive test. My temps are indicating that I still haven't ovulated and I'm feeling really fed up. Your little line has given me some optimism!

And @rosegold33 in the nicest way, I'm glad it's not just me with no willpower. Why do we do it to ourslves?! Fingers crossed for you this month!

@Mybobowler I’m glad it has. How long have you been TTC? We’ve had a real up and down journey. Fell pregnant first time we tried last June, miscarriage at 5+5, TTC on and off (tried diff things and styles every month!!) and fell in Dec after only one time, ended in a chemical in Jan. 3.5 weeks later the above!

It can be so disheartening because while most women dream of a BFP and it comes with pure elation, these lines have lost their magic for me as I’ve seen many but never got past a certain point. I still feel very positive and hopeful as I know it’s so common.

I tried all different OPKs and methods and the clear blue digital advanced got me pregnant both months. Highly recommend if you haven’t tried.

Aahaha @daisyorange2 that would be quite a service from Clear Blue, no wonder their tests are so expensive!

I'm sorry to hear you've had such a long journey. You just never know at the outset how long it'll take, do you? I really hope this one sticks - all things crossed for you. Will this be your first baby?

This is only my second month so I really shouldn't whine! I got pregnant with my daughter almost accidentally - we had unprotected sex once, right at the very beginning of my fertile period (I was temping for contraception) and that was it. I think I knew it would be harder this time around. Thing is, I'm pretty sure it did happen last month - I had all the symptoms (including a quite alarming peak in anxiety, and I had first trimester prenatal depression first time around so I was sort of expecting the hormones to send me loopy again) followed by a truly hideous and protracted period. Anyway, enough about me! Hopefully things will get back on track for me soon and we can crack on!

Hi! I'd like to join please. We've been TTC since October, had two anovulatory cycles after coming off the implant and then a chemical last month. We hadn't got around to telling anyone else yet so this is the first time I've mentioned that to anyone.

Ovulation should have happened by now (CD17) but my apps are confused and I think the chemical may have pushed it a bit... Good luck to everyone!

@Mybobowler yes this is our first baby! We aren’t in a rush but I think falling first time then losing it made up realise how much we do really want this.

I think whether you’ve been trying 1 month or 1 year, it’s still bloody exhausting, worrying and isolating - I don’t think anyone understands until they are doing it.

That does sound like a chemical, maybe just wasn’t enough hormone for a test to pick up but I do believe we know our bodies best. I’ve known every time before the test turned positive. Just an instinct.

Fingers crossed for us. I’ll update you tomorrow if I test again.

Welcome @Quolla, sorry to hear you’ve had a chemical too. I found my cycles were quite confused after mine too so don’t be disheartened they will straighten out eventually x

Thanks @daisyorange2 - it's funny how this whole thing takes on a life of its own. You go into it determined to be cool and just let Mother Nature do her thing, and before you know it you're obsessively googling and peeing on sticks every other day.

@Quolla sounds like we're in a really similar boat so I'll keep you company! I should have ovulated around CD11 (currently CD22) but no temp rise yet. It went up yesterday and has come crashing back down again so I have no idea what's going on. I'm going to console myself with red wine and brie this evening - two things I missed the most when I was pregnant before! Fingers crossed your cycles get back on track soon

I got this this afternoon, 9DPO! Trying to remain positive and calm after 2 losses.

I’m not sure if it makes a difference in terms of hormone levels but I’m super happy to be getting a digital so early. I actually had a progesterone blood test on Monday (before I knew I was pregnant) and my results came today as perfect, which is a relief. Please keep everything crossed for me girls.

If anyone has any advice it would be most welcome!

@Mybobowler I hope you enjoy the wine and brie, I'm on the same . No sign of temp rise for me yet and I'm wondering if it's just late or if I won't ovulate this month. The ones I didn't i just started bleeding at around day 20 (which was a shock!). I hope you get some clarity with your cycles soon as well! I didn't know how complex this would all be...!

@Mybobowler I had the majority of a bottle of white rioja last night and some sushi. Diluted last night's expressed milk with a mixer of morning milk! Might find some squishy white rinded cheese for tonight.

Im now 11dpo. Very strong AF symptons. Left test sitting for around 35mins. Got faint pink line but im not holding out too much because it might be evap.

Need to try and get another test today!

I'm brand new to Mumsnet but already grateful for it reminding me I'm not alone! My fiance and I have been trying for 5 months now and every month I'm desperately praying that every twinge in my lower abdomen is pregnancy. So in the 2ww myself at the moment.
I'd had the mirena coil for a good few years until last year, so feel that may be affecting things. Has anyone experienced similar?
