We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we aren’t afraid of a modification or 2 as we have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat where there is wine & snacks a plenty for those that need a bit of a breather from our race car but still hang on to our ride! 🌞

We are heading into February ladies & let’s be honest most of us thought we’ve have cute little babies by now, but instead we’ve got lockdown bellies, fishy burps 🐠from bloody omega 3 supplements & the BIGGEST STASH OF TTC drugs in the planet on this bus including IVF, TTC, vitamins, headaches, anti sickness for pregnancy & some other ones we won’t talk about. We also LOVE a good snack, a pet, a dildo and clit sucker but badly behaved BOSSES are NOT welcome.

So grab your crotchless panties and not much else for Valentine’s Day 💓and invite your men (or women folk) to dinner cos they are being treated like a REAL LADY. Forget January blues. February is where it’s at and we say UP YOURS TTC, we are cumming to get you 🙌🏻🥰

@Juno231 I think I have missed my peak somehow as clear blue low and cheapies don't even have a second line.
So I'm just going to have to see what my chart does, and keep DTD for the next few days.
I wonder if it's something to do with the seven seas can't see why but only thing I have done different x

@notyetamumbuttrying I think it varies massively by area. But that's my concern with it, with my age. However we can't afford private. So I'm hoping the wait here isn't crazy.

@InkyPaper yeah madness right! Even best case is 9 months...that'll then take us over two years since we started ttc so fuck that for a laugh 😆 how's things with you?

@paintfairy oh it does defo. This was just specifically about guys hospital in London that I'm going to. I'm sure it's better in other parts of the country for sure!

@notyetamumbuttrying hopefully they might indicate at my first appointment. But my fear is- they'll want to do tests etc first. So that adds time on before they even apply for funding and the rest of it? It is a worry. I guess I'll find out more soon! Or not. 🤣

@notyetamumbuttrying don't worry def go for your consultation and hear for yourself because you could do yourself out of your nhs stuff but on the private side yes absolutely sounds reasonable and I'm so sorry it's like that in your area. It is literally an area by area basis even for the funding times and certainly for the treatment times same as @clolo found hers is much less our area is def less & I know someone else who started the ivf process in my area end of last year 2020, & is about to start their cycle. So it's all on each area I'm afraid. 😩😩might be quicker to move to Hull? Or York or Leeds??

@paintfairy so my hospital said they'd test amh, do the SA and sign paperwork for funding all at the same appointment so here's hoping other places are the same 🤞🏾
@Minster2012 when I spoke to the private clinic back in September she said they'd take the nhs tests so all good there at least! We'd go with CARE London if we pursue it, which I reckon we will!

@notyetamumbuttrying I've realised my hospital is only a part time gynae dept so for ivf I imagine I'd get referred to somewhere like guys? Definitely going down the private route if the waiting periods are that long though!

@paintfairy that's not been offered to me but we got our referral based on Dh's diagnosis. I'll ask about it though, see what they say and report bk.
@Juno231 ooh maybe! Which hospital is yours again? Oh yeah we have to really. Wanted two kids bk in sep19 when I came off the pill and we had no idea we'd have all this to contend with! No time to lose 😂

@notyetamumbuttrying omg 🙈 I was so shocked at the worst case timeline, I didn't even think that the best case would be really long too! We're coming up on a year of TTC in March so unless a miracle happens this cycle, I think we'll be visiting the GP in a month!

Unfortunately on the house buying front we went 12k over, another couple went 20k over but the vendors preferred us 🤭 locals plus bigger deposit. Houses in the country are in huge demand.

Also on the vit D chat, most of us will be deficient in Winter, and vit D plays a big role in your immune system so definitely worth taking!

On the vitamin D I started taking it when starting TTC same time as folic acid. Everyone is supposed to take vit D in UK anyway

@Vil10 if it's a house you really want then I promise you 3k is nothing. We sold our flat for less than we bought it for 2 years prior because we just wanted our house - anyone our parents age expects you to make money on a property, or 'get a deal' bit the property market is so different to 20 years ago.
If you plan to be there for a lot of years then I'd just pay what they're asking for xx

@paintfairy sounds like you got a good deal then!! If you can add value to the house that's always a bonus obviously! House prices etc must be different in different places!

@BlondePotter it isn't 3k extra we'd need to pay, sorry I might not have explained it right, they're only willing to accept 3k under the asking price, and I think considering all the circumstances, I don't think they'll get it for that, it's been on since august, had a sale fall through etc, I'm just very wary of living beyond my means x

@vil10 although if a sale fell through then it doesn't quite count as if it's been languishing on the market since Aug. Obv do what you're comfortable with though!

@notyetamumbuttrying okay so this prompted me to look into which hospital I'd end up with - apparently it's St helier. I've found a MN thread that absolutely rips into it, where every woman on there slates their services and even ability of maturing blastocysts... @paintfairy a few of them went to Prague for private treatments as it's much much cheaper and they raved about how good it was. Reprofit it was called.

@Vil10 oh sorry, I probably misread it! Yes I think the most important thing is to live within your means. We've stretched ourselves for this house as we see it as our forever home, but if mortgages rates went to 7%+ we'd be struggling.
When it's meant to be it'll happen and the ideal house at budget is just around the corner 🙏
