We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we aren’t afraid of a modification or 2 as we have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat where there is wine & snacks a plenty for those that need a bit of a breather from our race car but still hang on to our ride! 🌞

We are heading into February ladies & let’s be honest most of us thought we’ve have cute little babies by now, but instead we’ve got lockdown bellies, fishy burps 🐠from bloody omega 3 supplements & the BIGGEST STASH OF TTC drugs in the planet on this bus including IVF, TTC, vitamins, headaches, anti sickness for pregnancy & some other ones we won’t talk about. We also LOVE a good snack, a pet, a dildo and clit sucker but badly behaved BOSSES are NOT welcome.

So grab your crotchless panties and not much else for Valentine’s Day 💓and invite your men (or women folk) to dinner cos they are being treated like a REAL LADY. Forget January blues. February is where it’s at and we say UP YOURS TTC, we are cumming to get you 🙌🏻🥰

So my packing day didn’t happen as I feel pretty rubbish today with nausea etc. I instead watched my DH sort through the office drawers while having the football on haha. Tomorrow will be my day! Luckily we aren’t in a rush as not moving until the 18th.

The 2 cats are our neighbours who has spent a vast amount of the last year with us, and one who lives with my parents (who I miss like mad!) they do look like the same cat lol. Couldn’t find any photos of Billy atm

@Minster2012 yeah I think the 25mcg tabs would be best if you’re looking for a little boost, or if you are still taking the pregnacare then just the 10mcg tabs, you could always take two every other day to average 25mcg.

@Vil10 I dunno. Years ago you usually did offer under and get it. But those days seem to be long gone. We bought 3 years ago and before and after that it seems to be the pattern that it's asking price or above. Far more buyers than houses. Anything half decent people were fighting over. We looked at one and it wasn't perfect. We loved it but it was slightly above what we wanted to pay. However I offered the asking price but said definitely no more. It went for 17k more than that because 2 others were fighting over it. I've no idea about the covid impact though. The one we bought we did get for a few grand under but god its needed a lot of work. I wondered if we made a mistake but I spent ages looking after and prices just went up and there was nothing we would have bought. So it worked out. There's a lot of compromise when house buying sadly. But if I found something that ticked every box, I'd be prepared to pay for it.

@vil10 I agree with paintfairy - are you basing this on your area? Because houses have been selling faster than butter melting in the sun during covid due to people wanting more space and the stamp duty holiday. I wouldn't expect to get anything under asking unless it was a fixer upper 🙊. If the difference is just a few grand I wouldn't get too hung up on the principle when it will barely make a difference to your monthly payments.

@Vil10 when we bought ours the sellers insisted they wouldn't accept less than the asking - turned out it was because the house was only valued at £5 more than what they had paid for it originally! So that's why they stuck to their guns as they didn't want to lose out on it. I remember at the time OH was a bit worried about what people would think because we paid the asking but ultimately we both figured it was no one's business what we paid and as long as we were happy, that was enough. If this is the dream house, could you stretch to what they're asking for?

@paintfairy must be different in different places because my sister had an offer accepted in a lovely area 2 weeks ago for 8% less than the asking price🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm not sure what's going to happen to house prices after all this, they'll either rocket or crash, this house was perfect, a couple of things that could've made it more perfect but werent an issue, but I'm not the type of person to live beyond my means, we had the deposit to get it for the asking price but at a stretch, and I like my clothes, my holidays and my days/meals out, it's all well and good having a lovely amazing house, but what's the point when all you can do is sit in that lovely house

@Juno231 really?? Like I said earlier so many people I know have got lovely houses, no work needed, for under the asking price, our mortgage advisor suggested offering between 8-10% lower than asking price too

@notyetamumbuttrying I hope so but I'm not getting my hopes up just in case! As far as we know there's been no other offers!!x

@InkyPaper I understand that, it's the fact we don't want to have to compromise and have a nice house but not be able to do as much as we do now, the plan was to never offer the asking price

@Vil10 I agree to a point. We wanted more than we could afford really. I started out thinking we could get it and thinking most would go for under, but it never was that way. I thought the same and felt that although we could push ourselves, I didn't want to be a prisoner in our own home. And also we got it at 1.6% mortgage rate and that's all fine but one day it might go up. So we lowered our expectations. However, houses on this road currently (during covid) in a much worse state than ours was when we bought it (literally need new kitchen and bathroom etc instantly) are being put on at 180k-190k. And ours was only listed at 169k when we bought it (which was steep at the time compared to others here, and we paid less than that) and our kitchen and bathroom are livable and modern ish compared to the others. So I think we'd get 200k easily now. Covid times or not. The market doesn't seem to have really slowed here (and I'm midlands based) like @Juno231 said. You might get one needing doing up though for under the asking price. Ours still isn't finished mind. 🤣
@InkyPaper yeah my DH had that issue when he sold his. The area just hadn't gone up (not the best area) like other places and they valued the house at what he bought it at. He'd bought his OH out years before (7 i think?) Had he part owned it when she originally bought it, he'd have been laughing all the way to the bank because it doubled between that and him buying her out. So anyone offering under the asking price- he was basically losing money. Luckily he did manage to about break even.

So an actual update from me ladies...can you believe it 😂
I'm on a guy's hospital ivf thread and a lady had her consultation yesterday and reported bk to us today that funding usually takes 6-8 weeks to be approved. (It says on the website 6 btw). She said she was told it's now taking 3-6 months to be approved and then a further 6-8 months to actually start treatment 😱
I told Dh and he said straight away without me saying it first, we're going private!
So I'm calling the clinic I researched last year on Monday, and will see what their wait times are like. From what I've been reading it's like a month or so. Would you say that's right @Minster2012?
We'll still go to the nhs guys appointment on the 22nd feb so that we get the amh and second SA paid for and to hear it from the dr themselves! But yeah, how mad are those wait times if that is indeed true? Fuck Covid eh!
