We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we aren’t afraid of a modification or 2 as we have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat where there is wine & snacks a plenty for those that need a bit of a breather from our race car but still hang on to our ride! 🌞

We are heading into February ladies & let’s be honest most of us thought we’ve have cute little babies by now, but instead we’ve got lockdown bellies, fishy burps 🐠from bloody omega 3 supplements & the BIGGEST STASH OF TTC drugs in the planet on this bus including IVF, TTC, vitamins, headaches, anti sickness for pregnancy & some other ones we won’t talk about. We also LOVE a good snack, a pet, a dildo and clit sucker but badly behaved BOSSES are NOT welcome.

So grab your crotchless panties and not much else for Valentine’s Day 💓and invite your men (or women folk) to dinner cos they are being treated like a REAL LADY. Forget January blues. February is where it’s at and we say UP YOURS TTC, we are cumming to get you 🙌🏻🥰

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

Catching up as can't sleep... Meant to be running with my running buddy at 7am but can hear the rain coming down...

@billythecat I've had a nightmare with my endo journey. First surgery in 2018, surgeon missed loads of endo and it got worse and worse. Finally after waiting list mess ups I got seen again June 2020 during the pandemic and was told it was severe but they removed it and we should have no problem ttc. Thanking my lucky stars I'm now pg and hoping we've got a sticky bean. And yes agreed the natural periods again without the mirena were a real eye opener X

Minster2012 · 29/01/2021 07:35

Argh woke up at 5.30 with itchy boobs & just awake. Thanks progesterone! @Dollybird89 so during the ivf my own ovaries are put into downregulation so I don't naturally ovulate at the same time (so you don't get risk a natural pregnancy at the same time & so they can manage the process) so because of that you don't produce the progesterone as you do over your cycle so we need to have that put in. They do give us extra too (why not eh?) but not much, and in fact I get tested for "the right level" of progesterone on Tuesday pretransfer and that has to be 20, whereas previously it was 30 for my last cycles last year and I asked & yes they said they've researched now changed it as they found to be "over prescribing vs live birth rates".

But it does leave conversations each night with DH of "are you wanting to stick something up me Cos you gotta get it in before something else get stuck up first?"

But it makes you wake up in the night & feel shit & get alllllll the pregnancy symptoms anyway even if you aren't PG.

So I was talking to a friend last night about my non DS days when I don't have masses of work to do & my ability to lose a dah procrastinating with myself & I found the picture that sums it up.

So this will be me today. I lose DAYS like this.

Heading for 💓day with fishy burps & wombs as fluffy as a 70’s bush we say UP YOURS TTC Bus 30

Well af has entered the building so I'm just going to go ahead to the back of the bus and sulk 😑

lucyrp · 29/01/2021 07:50

As for Christmas nails @notyetamumbuttrying @Minster2012 I'm getting very fed up of red nails and they've grown out rather a lot 😅 have to try keep them on though because then I don't have to pay as much to have them done again 😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/01/2021 08:08

@Minster2012 defo staying on blog anyway but good to know tips are coming!
@Billythecat I'm gutted you don't have a cat called Billy but happy that you did used to know one!
@Dollybird89 savagely attacked 🤣🤣 sounds fun at 230am 😝
@Justanothercyster oh I'm sorry honey!! ♥️
@lucyrp let's hope these nail bars open pronto 🏃‍♀️ that's you running to get them done 😂

Minster2012 · 29/01/2021 08:30

Noooooooo @Justanothercyster but it's Friday so allllll the booze & nice food right?!

@Billythecat I'm so at least pleased that billy the cat exists 😍& shag a lovely romantic story for OH! I'm an internet dater, after a horrible ex who dumped me in hospital after an awful life saving surgery but there's a bit more to it than that 😊all on the blog (I'm gonna put mine/DH's story over next few days)

Ooo we are having takeaway tonight, DH & I decided yesterday that seeing as I've been isolating for the ivf & we've been really good & eating up the freezer we rarely have takeaways we are having a Japanese /Asian tonight...then after transfer DH needs to pick up DS & I AM NOT COOKING so we'll have takeaway then, & then it's Valentine's weekend so we've ordered a 3 course meal from our pub across the road so having not had a takeaway since before Xmas we are now gonna have 3 in 3 weeks 😋🤪🥳

@lucyrp im also waiting on the nail bars being open

Right bit of work then might try do a blog before dog walk

I am rocking the greys, I think since my hair is so long now, I'll leave it till July and then cut it into a bob, and donate the very long ponytail to the little princess trust, the body of the hair is coloured, greys only in the very overgrown roots

BlondePotter · 29/01/2021 08:57

@Justanothercyster oh no, gutted for you!

@LB20xx I have literally no idea how you do anything, but mostly how do you wipe your arse?! Because I wore tiny sticks ons once and felt like I couldn't wipe properly 🤣

@blodyn91 I'm sure you will be fine, I'm sure there's a set amount of days you have to complete by once you've exchanged otherwise you can sue, thought it was 30 days? You legally own that house now, what's the hold up? The people not moving out? Go and evict them 🤣

Kirky658 · 29/01/2021 09:14

@blodyn91 we exchanged and completed on the same day last year to save any hold ups! Was stressful as hell not knowing if it would go through, as we were renting and could have been homeless as we had given notice!

I had another breakdown again this morning. Just feeling so overwhelmed with anxiety. I wanted to share the reason I keep worrying about my RHR as well. My mum, only in her 50s, about 2 years ago now collapsed and fell, and they thought she'd had a heart attack. She hadn't. 4 weeks in hospital and loads of scans showed nothing but she gets these palpitations still, and really struggles generally she can hardly walk now. She's just had a heart monitor fitted so the consultant can monitor what's going on more accurately but I think a big part of me is concerned I've got whatever she's got and it will hurt the baby....

Sorry for the essay ladies xx

Franklydear · 29/01/2021 09:23

@Kirky658 that makes sense, but rationalize it, they don't know what your mum has yet, hence the monitor, you don't know it is genetic, therefore whether you could have the same condition, focus on what you know, you are pregnant and doing well, you have an scan soon, that's something that the support association gets us doing as parents of autistic children, first diagnosis is very scary, will he finish school, will he be able to work, drive, live independently, will he be able to find love and have a family, what'll happen when I am no longer here, it's makes me well up only thinking about it even now, but these are things we don't know, we know he's healthy, doing well in school and has friends, perfect at 10 years old, I hope this helps

Florence13 · 29/01/2021 09:25

@Justanothercyster sorry to hear about af turning up every time she gives you a bit of hope then tears it all away.

@Minster2012 sorry to hear your getting lots of symptoms from the meds. Loving the takeaways might try and convince my OH to have one tonight, although I also want one on my birthday and then it’s valentines so might just join the 3 in 3 weeks. 😂

@Franklydear aww that’s a lovely idea I did it a few years ago but not sure I could part with all my hair again.

Franklydear · 29/01/2021 09:35

@Florence13 I did it 3 years ago during a heat wave and was happy to see it go, it's now getting too long so I guess by July, I'll say cut it all

Kirky658 · 29/01/2021 09:36

@franklydear thanks, I'm trying my best to, I have anxiety at the best of times but it is through the roof, next Thursday seems such a long away away!

blackcurrantqueen · 29/01/2021 09:42

@Kirky658 completely get your anxiety but to try and rationalise it that sort of cardiac picture and that sort of onset is extremely unlikely to be anything genetic related. If you are worried about your RHR I would strongly advise you to call the GP, if it is normal for you they might not be interested but if it isn't then they might want to investigate it.
You are a very fit and healthy person! I am assuming the only reason you even know your HR is from the monitor and whilst they are fantastic pieces of equipment they don't overrule gut instinct and symptoms. If you've been feeling well and plodding along then I really don't think it will be anything too sinister !!!
Sorry for my essay reply I just hate to think of you worrying 😘 xxx

blackcurrantqueen · 29/01/2021 09:46

@Justanothercyster boooooo for AF!

Dollybird89 · 29/01/2021 09:53

@minster2012 I'm always loosing days like that... that picture sums me up to a t!

Juno231 · 29/01/2021 10:09

@Kirky658 to add to what @Franklydear said - it sounds like a drop in RHR is the opposite problem of your mum's heart palpitations so definitely doesn't sound related to me xxx

@Tornado2Inc I'm so glad you asked about the cat! When I saw people ask about the lizard I was like hang on a second - that's unfair Grin

@Minster2012 @blodyn91 Not sure what the original query was but yes stamp duty is based on exchange day albeit paid upon completion. Always double check they get the calcs right though as our solicitor told us to pay 20k too little! Luckily I'm an accountant...

@Billythecat ah a fellow london dweller! Welcome!

@Justanothercyster I'm so sorry about AF :( What cycle are you entering now?

@LB20xx does your job involve a computer at all - cause I think I'd really struggle to type with nails that size! I assume it just takes some getting used to?

Vil10 · 29/01/2021 10:15

@blackcurrantqueen this next week is going to be tense😂 well I'm only CD8 so won't be testing anytime soon😂 I haven't got any tests either so might keep it that way! Hoping your symptoms mean something🤞🏼

@Billythecat love that meeting the OH story!!

@Justanothercyster ohhh no!! So sorry af arrived!! Sending hugs x

@Kirky658 it's definitely understandable why you're worrying! But you're pregnant! I can't really say anything that others haven't said, but try not to worry, your scan is soon!!x

Kirky658 · 29/01/2021 10:19

@blackcurrantqueen thanks yeah aside from feeling like total rubbish I'm plodding along nicely 😂 low rhr is normal for me, looked back today and in September It was in the 30s some days, so that makes me feel a bit better. Think I'm just a bit sad because my outlet for my anxiety was running, hard running, and now I don't have the physical capability to do it at all. I feel so bad because I'm neglecting DH as well, not telling him how I'm feeling bc I don't want him to worry either.

@juno231 @vil10 thanks ladies 😘

blackcurrantqueen · 29/01/2021 11:13

@Kirky658 I do wonder if you should give your GP a call, even if it is just for a bit of support?
Please do not feel guilty for DH, it is mentally and physically tiring growing a bean xxx

Kirky658 · 29/01/2021 11:18

@blackcurrantqueen yeah I might do, got my booking appt in just over a week so may chat to the midwife about it. I imagine it's pretty normal to be up and down. He says the same bless him. X

DKDK123 · 29/01/2021 11:24

Your anxiety is understandable @Kirky658. Why not give your doctor a ring just to put your mind at ease, they'll probably say the same as everyone else stop looking at your HR monitor but coming from a professional it might make you feel better. Pregnancy/parenthood is filled with anxiety at the best of times and if you already suffer from it while also having your coping mechanism taken away in your running its going to be even more heightened. Why not ask the midwife to refer you to the prenatal mental health team who could help you come up with alternative coping mechanisms before your anxiety becomes too much to cope with further down the line. Big hugs you know those pesky hormones are driving a lot of your emotions right now, hopefully you'll feel a bit more ease after your scan.

Ladies, my work has just offered me the covid vaccine on Sunday as in 2days to make up my mind 🤯 I'm so torn as the advice seems so contradictory in terms or whether you need to wait 3 months after having it to ttc or not. The gov website seems to say if you're pregnant don't have it but if you're not pregnant don't stop ttc, I looked up the advice on both my nearest fertility clinics sites and they're saying if you have it then pause your treatment for 3months after the 2nd dose, im booked in for the 2nd dose in April (I didnt ask to be booked in they've just went and done it so I need to decide whether to phone and cancel or not) so that would be July before going ahead with treatment. I'm getting way ahead of myself in terms of the clinics as we've not even had our 1st appointment yet which obviously could be months down the line and any treatment starting would probably be way past July anyways. But just in general Im not sure whether to take the jag or not, there are just so many unknowns about it and when trying for so long I don't want anything to jepodise my potential little bean and its not like the medical world haven't screwed up before in the past with things like the anti sickness drugs that meant the babies had things wrong with them. On the other hand I don't want covid and definitely not during pregnancy 🤷‍♀️ I know someone else was debating this a while ago but I cant remember the outcome, any advice.

blackcurrantqueen · 29/01/2021 11:44

@DKDK123 I had mine on Wednesday. The paper they handed me said if you get pregnant after first dose no big deal but hold off on second dose.
I think like you say the chances of having treatment before July is probably unlikely anyway! But I do also think it is a highly unusual situation we are all in at the moment and it's a really personal decision! There is no right or wrong either way.
I wonder if they will start encouraging people to have the jabs before they start treatment etc anyways, when we get to that point that it's accessible x

Billythecat · 29/01/2021 11:58

@Sausage1990 I’m originally from very close to the Gower- I miss the sea! Sad whereabouts are you from? I love meeting fellow Welshies Smile

@Kirky658 so glad you got your endo sorted. My first consultant did ablation which ofc grew back but I had excision surgery in May 19 which seems to have really helped although I still do have pain most days. My doctor at least seemed confident that if I had trouble conceiving, I can have another surgery so will wait and see if that’s needed! Don’t think I’ve been trying long enough yet to justify that quite yet tbh. Wishing you well Smile

I’m still getting to grips with keeping top of all the messages here so bear with me Grin

My BBT seems to be a little bit lower today so I hope AF isn’t coming and I still have a chance this month. I’m still only on dpo6 so no testing or AF for me yet anyway. It’s been high since my peak but I did sleep really badly last night so discounting temp for today and trying not to go mad symptom spotting either way! Sore boobs, cramping and grumpy which could mean anything haha. Been a weird cycle with late ovulation which I am blaming on pregnacare because it was fine before that.

Hope the crap weather doesn’t make us too miserable!
