We managed to dtd last night, now oh is in agony with suspected kidney infection! I'm trying to get him to speak to the doc today for Antibiotics or we will miss ov day! 😖

I started cramping overnight and now seem to be having a period. Is it a period? Is it just more bleeding from the medical management? Why was my LH surging yet again? This is all so bizarre, answers on a postcard

@Marvellouslymadmum Pregnacare makes my wee look like a high vis jacket! Neon yellow - it's a bit disconcerting.

I don't top up B6 but have recently started taking extra Vit C & D along with the Pregnacare. Wonder if I will end up weeing a rainbow...

@WrongendoftheSTIX isn't it crazy! I've just been in Holland and Barratt abs spoken to a knowledgeable seeming lady who said that b6 zinc are two of the most important ones to take especially if you have any hormone deficiencies, she said I could take the higher 100mg dose if b6 with the pregnacare to get a good dose but it has enough zinc in and wouldn't go over that! I've opted for the 50g b6 for now as that's what others have said but may up it after a while, also got some epo 1000mg as that's apparently good I'm also taking extra vit c and ordering ubiquinol so if my wee is not now luminous yellow with rainbows and sparkles I shall not be impressed 😂

I've just looked online and it says 2000 ui for normal amounts or 4000ui if you have a deficiency and 1000ui =25g so I've ordered that one, my partner is on it too

I’m taking 4000ui it’s just the one I ordered at the time when considering the research that vitd helps body fight off Covid. So went for high dose 😅

6dpo now, I'm such a terrible sleeper, have been for decades, esp when something is on my mind. Keep waking up super early when my partner gets up, 2hrs early than my alarm. Man, I'm losing my mind.

Still light pain / stitch left ribs but prob not related. Keep inspecting boobs but no changes. Pretty sure like now, when I'm thinking/reading of boob symptoms I feel slight twinges buy only then so it's my silly mind playing tricks!

How’s everyone doing?

I have started seed cycling today. Wasn’t planning to start it this cycle but I’m going to aim to be healthier since spring is nearly here and start exercising again etc so picked up the right seeds this morning and started by making a breakfast drink with the seeds in. Now I just need to do some exercise of some kind at lunch time!

I have two vitamin D sprays because I only took vitamin d and folic acid for most of the first year, but they’re different strengths so I alternate them. Grin

@thislittlebird I'm a very active and pretty fit person (full time self employed gardener, rock climbed, mountain biker, surfer etc) but diet went downhill from around Sept, sometimes 10 biscuits a day etc!

4th Jan me and partner were on our health kick. Had super minimal processed food, lots of seeds in meals, no chocolate other than few chunks of 80% dark buttons in homemade trail mix.

Waiting til 4th March to even eat a shop bought pizza (been make own mostly wholemeal ones) or chocolate, tho the biggest killer for me has been not purchasing hot cross buns!!!!!!!

Will keep to the seeds, nuts and wholemeal grains long term but I will relax a bit after the 2 months clean eating, and no carb Berry smoothies will stay for breakfast until pregnant

I need to plan some dinner for tonight, it won’t be burgers in this house, sadly (veggie/pescie husband).

Interesting what the h&b person said about zinc and b6 @Marvellouslymadmum. I can’t take high doses of zinc, they make me throw up. But I’ve been ok with the dose in seven seas (was not ok with well woman before).

Omg @climbershell I have M&S salted caramel and chocolate hot cross buns in my freezer and they’re my favourite Confused. They will be my treat for when I’ve been sufficiently active, I think. And that’s a lot of biscuits but biscuits are good.

I’m definitely not as active as you generally (I did wonder if you name was about climbing) and never have been but I had a PT in the summer and I lost a bit of weight/got fitter, and I tried to continue as winter kicked in but I got less and less active as Christmas approached and then when I found out my friends were expecting I sort of spiralled into a funk of doing nothing. Going to re-start couch to 5k I think, or something, haven’t planned what yet. Definitely want to do some more slower paced exercise too because I think it’s good for me. Pilates definitely helped my migraines in the past.

My smoothie today was a vehicle for my seed cycling lol, almond butter, almond milk, sesame and sunflower seeds, frozen raspberries and it was fine, think I might try to keep it up, just switch the seeds to the other two kinds for the follicular phase.

@selina37 1000ui = 25mg so that would be 100mg but it's only recommended you take that much if you have a deficiency otherwise it's recommended that you take 2000ui so I'd just take two 25mg a day

@thislittlebird she said the amount of zinc in the pregnacare conception (15mg) was the maximum you really wanted to take and not to take extra and with b6 she said that was very important for conception and I could take the higher 100mg dose. I bought the 50mg tablets because I thought I'd start with those then increase to 100mg after a while.

I was very active until all this Corona started as I run after school dance clubs for children but then lockdown happened and I had to stop and I just stopped everything! I used to kickbox too which I loved but haven't done that since I moved. I've picked up yoga for weight loss online at the moment but I feel like I need to do more.

@Misty84 I had my first acupuncture session on Monday and it was nothing like yours. It was mostly talking and taking a history tbh, I had the needles in for 5 minutes. She did also use a heat lamp over my tummy though, that was nice :)

Overall found it v. relaxing and felt less axiety after but then I usually do at the start of my cycle anyway. She recommend twice a month for me, once after my period and then another during my fertile week.

I've started testing ovulation with CB but nothing yet. I had a theory that we'd had no success up until now as I'd been ovulating early but that theory has gone out of the window now. I'm CD11 now.

Oh with the acupuncture, there were tiny needles on a plaster which she put at the top of me ears. She said to keep them in for 5 days and it helps with stress/anxiety which I've been really struggling with. I though that was quite cool, I think it has helped but then again could just be coincidence!

@thislittlebird haha, just reading back and seen your message about coming back from acupuncture with seeds in your ears! Not seeds for me but tiny tiny needles on a plaster. Cant feel them at all. TBH though I'd go for anything that migh prolong benefits at this stage!

@KG1145 Yours was the type of treatment I was expecting!! Rather annoyed that I was given electroacupuncture with no prior warning or discussion!! And recommended once a week as if anyone can afford that 🙄
What you’ve had sounds much better and if I ever try again I’ll make sure I get that!!🙂
