Aah, ladies I need you to talk me down! Had flashing smiley today on CD9 which feels early. And DH not feeling well so no DTD 🤦🏼‍♀️ Last two cycles have peaked on day 14 so hoping we have time but just worried I'll get a random early peak before we've given it a decent try! 😬😬 No sign of EWCM though so hopefully still have time...

Marvellouslymadmum · 23/02/2021 22:08

@sickofthisyear I've been getting flashing smiley since cd6 and I got high results last month for ages too so I wouldn't worry too much that you'll miss it maybe dose him up with things tomorrow so he feels well enough lol

Loladoodle · 24/02/2021 08:20

@Marvellouslymadmum re short cycles. A already take b complex plus 50mg b6. I used to always have 23 day cycles and conceived two children (plus one mc) with those. But since ds was born my cycles seem to be 25-27 days long. Aside from my last cycle for some reason being only 22 days- here’s hoping it was a one off. Will start the high dose vit c again and continue with b vits, vit d, sevens seas conception vits and Ubiquinol 😅

MgW1 · 24/02/2021 08:43

I had ordered b6 from amazon but cancelled and decided to get a higher dose. Stress cortisol can impact on progesterone and after have 3-mc's in 6 months plus tons of work stress i think thats my problem there so im trying for next few months ;
B6 100mg
B12 500mcg
Folic acid & vid d
Vitamin C 1000mg
Agnus cactus from H&B
And i thought i take up either acupunture for maybe 6 sessions or aromatherapy massage ? Can anyone recommend ?
After my miscarriage before my daughter 8 years ago i was affected badly and got depressed and ended up on a low dose anti depressant which probably helped actually when i conceived again but had to come off during first trimester of pregnancy and withdrawel effects plus pregnancy symptoms were horrendous so not keen to go down that route at this stage. Any body got any other tips for stress ? 🙂 xx

sickofthisyear · 24/02/2021 09:31

Phew another high fertility- fingers crossed for this evening 😂 Just a bit nervous as last month only had one day of high then went straight to peak but think I'd starting testing too late that month (CD11) to get a proper baseline.
Interested to hear about all supplements- everyone will have to report back any suspected effects!
So up and down about TTC still. Sometimes it feels like such a long shot and I can't spend the next six months obsessing about it. Also sad about the potential age gap between them now. As it gets nearer the due date of my last pregnancy (TFMR 16w) it gets hard to think where we should have been by now. 😞
Sorry- too early in the morning to be so down! 🤦🏼‍♀️

sickofthisyear · 24/02/2021 09:35

@MgW1 I sometimes use the Headspace app to try and get some calm. It's hard when you have a busy job and home life. I also do some colouring when watching tv ☺️ and try and do a bit of exercise when I can manage it (rare!). Anything that keeps me from Google!

MgW1 · 24/02/2021 09:44

@sickofthisyear
Thank you il look at that , sorry your down today.i had mc at 14 weeks ( baby died at 12) but never knew why , did you find out what happened. I got straight back on ttc wagon but its not worked for me hence why having a bit of a break now ( 3 cycles) . At the time i felt like i needed to focus on ttc but a break might have been better who knows , there is no wrong or right. Early testing hase definately messed my head up !!! Xx

WrongendoftheSTIX · 24/02/2021 09:45

Well, my BBT dropped again today. It's dropped 3 days in a row. I now have backache and cramps so I'm justing waiting for AF to arrive. Not due until Sat BUT I feel like this could be a 26 day cycle. I ov day 12 so think it will arrive tomorrow tbh.

We use th Calm App which I imagine is similar to headspace. I sometimes fall asleep doing to mediation breathing Grin

Sorry for you loss, it must be so hard, especially after 14 weeks. Ours was a termination for medical reasons, so a bit different from a miscarriage. We did have a diagnosis after we did NIPT test then amniocentesis to confirm- I've posted about it elsewhere so won't go into too much detail. It was an incredibly difficult decision and obviously I find myself dealing with guilt and regret a lot but I know it was the right choice for our family.

MgW1 · 24/02/2021 10:27

@sickofthisyear
Ok i understand that must have been very hard for you and absolutely the right decision for you and your family , im sure time will help , hard after such an awful year as well 😔

Misty84 · 24/02/2021 10:29

@sickofthisyear and @MgW1 it is so sad to read what you have gone through- just awful. My heart goes out to both of you.

I sometimes do a puzzle to help me feel calm (currently doing a 1000 piece on the dining table!) I started doing these after a family bereavement and it’s always something that’s helped me feel calm.

Obviously I tried acupuncture but wouldn’t recommend the one that uses electricity as that has the opposite effect!!!
I am going to try and have a regular massage once things open up.
If I ever get a chance I put on a YouTube meditation on my phone, lie on the sofa and am usually asleep within 10 mins! Xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 24/02/2021 10:32

@Loladoodle I wouldn't worry with just the one short one, it does happen to me sometimes.

@MgW1 sounds like you have a good plan there and I can definitely recommend massage for stress relief, I've never tried acupuncture but being a massage therapist myself I have had a lot of them when learning. Hot stone massages I find the most texting and you can incorporate essential oils into them too

MgW1 · 24/02/2021 10:34

@Misty84
I may try massage instead of acupuncture , i need serious de-stress. Been doing more than enough walking but hopefully can start swimming again in April fingers crossed.

sickofthisyear · 24/02/2021 10:41

@MgW1 yes, hence the username! We also both had COVID at the start of the year. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Misty84 · 24/02/2021 10:51

@Marvellouslymadmum I looked into hot stone massage after you previously recommended it and found one with essential oils incorporated so will def be doing this as soon as it’s open! (mid April I think) 🤗
And the improvement in weather is good for a happy boost ☀️

Misty84 · 24/02/2021 10:52

@MgW1 Haha I stopped short of recommending walking for that very reason!! I expect we’ve all done our fair share of that recently!! 🤪

MgW1 · 24/02/2021 11:02

@Misty84
Done my fair share recently 🙄 im in York so not far to east coast so can't wait for some sea air ! I like swimming twice a week. Im just not into cardio , although my husband is so Il leave that to him, he has started running again which will help after 6 months of doing nothing 😁.

Loladoodle · 24/02/2021 12:48

@MgW1 there’s some very good meditation apps you could try- Glenn Harold ones are not too deep and really relaxing. Also if you have audible listening to some self help books is very relaxing- try “you are the guru” and “think like a monk” both are really nice to listen to and very calming.

@Marvellouslymadmum thanks I know you are right, I’m totally over reacting I think I was disappointed as we tried very hard last cycle was so shocked to see af arrive cd22! With spotting two days before! How rude when we tried extra hard 😅

Marvellouslymadmum · 24/02/2021 13:23

@Misty84 yes providing nothing changes we should be able to start nail and beauty treatments again from 12th April.

@Loladoodle it's very rude! I yes that's why we her the witch!! 🧙🧙

selina37 · 24/02/2021 16:10

So I need to add vitamin C too? 😳 🤣 I'm going to well and truly rattle! 😂

Sleeeeeepy · 24/02/2021 16:16

Good grief ladies, can I moan. I've now got a nasty ear infection and mastoiditis so back on more antibiotics and a load of painkillers. Meanwhile I think the bleeding is just stopping (mind you I thought that before) and it looks like I might be about to ovulate but I'm in agony so chance of dtd are zero. BOOOOO!!

thislittlebird · 24/02/2021 17:47

I’m definitely rattling already Confused

That’s such an inconvenient pain in the arse @Sleeeeeepy

Loladoodle · 24/02/2021 18:00

@selina37 we are all rattling here! Might as well join in 💊🤣

M4v3r1ck · 24/02/2021 18:33

Happy Hump Day ladies! 😈

@MgW1 utterly gutted for you, lovely! 😔😔😔 Sending you so much love! 😘😘😘 Hope you hear soon from the specialist! Sorry it's been so stressy in work too! I find I cope a lot better with regular exercise (even just a massively long walk) - no matter how much I don't want to do it, I feel much better afterwards! Like others, really missing massages etc - I want a spa day pronto!!! 😭😭😭 and yes, a swim! Omg I want to swim so much!

@sickofthisyear don't apologise, that's why we're here! I can't even imagine how difficult that decision must have been! I find myself being so up and down about this whole process, especially as you say, where we would be if the pregnancy continued. If it helps in any way, I just try and give those feelings their moment, accept them as best as I can, and hope for the best! 😘😘😘

@Sleeeeeepy ouch you poor thing!!!! Hope you recover ASAP!!! 😘😘😘

@Loladoodle hopefully this was just a one off cycle?! 🤞🏻 How's your new diet and exercise regime going?

Wow wow what are all these new pills?! 🤣 Vit C and B6 are recommended?! Going to be a walking pharmacy! 🤣

How's everyone else doing? Who is all in TWW? I have zero idea about my body right now! 🤣 Based on pre-MC cycles, AF is due at the weekend, but body has been haywire this cycle. My BBT has generally increased these past few days, so who knows?! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
