@MrsKin90 yes in fairness, because I’m constantly putting myself down, I should be bigging up my ovaries. Just the other half of the deal could do with working it’s magic for a pregnancy! Thanks to you and @eloiseislost (of course steal the nicknames 😂) for the well wishes.
We are going to SI until at least Wednesday to try as hard as possible.
Really hoping we all carry on with this lovely upward swing of bfp tests, it’s a good time for us on this thread 🍀🤞🏻

Ah @Makingnumber2 I kept the softdisc in overnight and will admit to a bit of panic trying to get it out this morning. It was well nestled in there. Then I was like how the bloody hell will a baby get out of here when I could feel my pubic bone and was sat on the toilet like 😳😳🤔😧

I have my blood tests a week today to start the ball rolling for fertility help if needed.

Hello lovelies. Just a quick update from me. Had last scan and blood tests yesterday. Final diagnosis is delayed miscarriage. Opted for taking the drug to start the bleeding which I will do tomorrow morning. I have the rest of the week off. Fingers crossed it won't be too horrific. I have codeine and some other painkiller.
Hope everyone ok. I'll probably be awol for a while but good luck everyone with your cycles and I'll be back soon xxx

@Oilyoilyoilgob the panic upon removal is absolutely awful! I thought mine would never come out.
It’s great your first lot of tests are only a week away now- something to break up the TWW!

@Oilyoilyoilgob I'll be having tests done this cycle too hopefully! Bit harder as I don't know when I'll ovulate so I'll be calling up for a bit of a bit of a last minute appointment once I'm sure I've ovulated. Nervous I'm gonna miss it and won't be able to get them done 😬 fingers crossed. Is your partner having tests also? Sorry if I missed it somewhere. There's been a lot going on on this thread! There's a possibility I've already asked 😂

@Makingnumber2 yes that same panic, the suction that holds it up there is quite strong and I couldn’t hook my finger under the rim. About to insert my next one for another overnight so hopefully tomorrow will mentally feel a bit easier, less panic I think now.
Yes it’s certainly good the ball is rolling but ideally I would prefer to avoid ivf, mentally right now I don’t think it’s the best option but in a couple of months that’ll hopefully change.

@MrsKin90 yes I’ve been thinking we’ll be test buddies! Do you have a rough idea of your ovulation dates? My tests are cd21 (Well cd22 as 21 is a Sunday) as she said they’ll also test to make sure I’ve ovulated. So for me as I think I ovulate cd 14-16 it should hopefully get that reading.

Just wondering if you have a window could you book your bloods for just after then? If not could you maybe suggest two samples are taken a few dats apart during the window of your ovulation then maybe a few days after?

No no don’t worry it’s been a busy thread! He had his speed sample analysis back (he sorted with GP, they sent a paperwork and run pack out then he booked a one hour time slot to drop off at the hospital). That came back fine (I think! 27 ish million speed per whatever they test at) Nhs have 15million plus as ‘normal’ but actually I need to read up on that re his results.

Then I’ll get my tests and we’ll be ready to go onwards from April time. As I said above I think we’d try iui first as I ideally want to avoid ivf for now at least. Mentally I don’t think it’d be a good idea right now but in a couple of months I may feel a bit stronger.

@Oilyoilyoilgob hmm I wonder if they'd let me book two appointments? Ovulation is honestly bonkers for me. I guess on average I ovulate between CD16 and CD22 but it's been all over the place the last year.. (...CD22, 17, 26, not at all, 16, 14, 16 and 21) 😂 so I'd need to book for, at the earliest, CD23 or CD29 if not later! So a whole weeks difference. 🤔 I'm hoping I can call for an appointment four days in advance 😆it's really helpful to know about the semen analysis process as hubby has an appointment with his doctor on the phone tomorrow so I hope it's quite straight forward and they just say yes fine and send out a pack. Your typo made me laugh 😂 imagined your OH just running with his little pot in a race to the hospital.
Try not to think about iui and IVF straight away is my advice, take each day as it comes and deal with one piece of information at a time! Easy for me to say as I'm several stone away from being offered any help at all. The dream would be that everything comes back hunky dory and I can get a hsg to check my tubes and magically get pregnant after that 😆 might have my hopes up too high 🤔

Good that the results you've got back so far are looking okay!

@MrsKin90 our doctor was lovely and yes for the sperm sample he had a telephone consultation and she got it sorted-the pack came and he rang to book the day and time slot to suit. It was definitely running to the car for him to get there within the hour as the parking can be difficult 😂 but very straightforward for him. He’s also going to get blood tests done.

That’s quite a mix on ovulation! Our GP said to let the receptionist know it HAD to be on that day due to it being fertility testing and not let them say it couldn’t be done, due to it needing to be on a specific cycle day. Could you potentially book in advance if you start your period two lots of bloods then when you know your ovulation day ring them to amend if needed? I’m sure if you chat to your gp they’ll be happy for you to do this ☺️

Don’t worry about bmi stuff yet, focus on the blood tests-also easy for me to say to you. It’s always easier to be gentler on other than ourselves 😊
You’re right and I’m trying not to focus too far ahead. That hsg test looks interesting.

I’ve got pregnant once so I know it can happen and I’m hoping it does though, I’m just very worried about ivf and the hormones/ups and downs. I just feel mentally tired and fragile, not massively resilient right now and I don’t think it would be the best for me. I’ve told my husband this and we would try iui first I think.
There’s so much to think about on this journey and I’m really trying to break it down piece by piece to ease up on the feelings of being overwhelmed.

10 DPO for me, I think I’m out.. the usual pre period bloat, moods and pains. Very tempted to test but I’ve waited this long, I may as well wait a couple of days more.

Still feeling pretty lousy with covid and partner too. I’m glad this didn’t occur on fertile week as we would have missed a chance to try with being so poorly.

Big sweet potato I am thinking of you and come back when you’re ready, we will all be here to support you lovely xx

Sorry to hear you think you're out @Sydney1986x and also that you're still feeling so rough post covid. This has been a really tough cycle from the sounds of it. As always I will say not out til AF shows- but I know what you mean when you just have that gut feeling. How many more days til she's due?

@MrsKin90 I hope your docs will let you do what Oily said and pre book 2 slots then cancel one nearer the time- surely they must make allowance for people with less regular cycles?

@Oilyoilyoilgob it's so good that you know yourself well enough to say that right now IVF is not the best route for you and it's great you could do IUI first and see how that goes. TTC is such a gruelling process and it's so important to prioritise your mental health.

@Makingnumber2 I'm OK, constantly exhausted and nauseous, I don't want to eat anything other than white bread and pasta with cheese so piling on the pounds already! 😁 How are you?

@eloiseislost Ahh yes white carbs- my only friend in my last pregnancy. I was surprised my DD didn't come out looking like a rich tea biscuit/a potato. Luckily/unluckily depending on what way you look at it my sickness meant I could only keep down 2 meals a day so that seemed to balance out the terrible diet of beige.
Hopefully your nausea will calm down once you're out of first tri- for most women it does.
I'm feeling the exhaustion big time- but still not feeling the level of nausea I feel like I should be. 6 days til scan and then hopefully that will put my mind at rest a bit more. Need these days to speed by!

@Oilyoilyoilgob I had a little panic as hubby said the doctor said he'd have to provide the sample at the hospital - think he must have misheard! Have checked and he can definitely just drop it off during appointment slot.
No such luck for me tried to book a blood test for a week Friday and they don't have any appointments until 1st March and don't do blood tests on Fridays. So. That's helpful. Wish I'd booked it in advance now but with no real idea when I will or won't ovulate it didn't make sense. My doctor is going to ring me Monday so I can ask wtf I'm meant to do 🙄 hoping she'll just do them for me 🤞 or let me pop to the hospital to get them done.
Thank you for your help 😊 the hsg looks interesting even though it's a bit horrible to have done apparently. Hopefully worth it though!

@Sydney1986x try not to give in and test if you can. If you feel like you're out it's probably not worth it. Sending you a big hug (even though you have covid!) And lots of sympathy. I haven't given up up hope for you as it could still go either way, but I'd be feeling terribly sorry for myself if I was poorly and at the end of the tww feeling periody ❤️ I hope you get a lovely surprise in a few days. I’m 10/11 dpo here. I’ve been feeling really negative this cycle, but today I’m feeling strangely more optimistic. My app is telling me I’m due on Friday, but that would be an unusually short cycle for me if so.. In my head I’m trying to imagine being due Sunday.

@eloiseislost when did your heart rate start going up? Just got myself a new Fitbit so monitoring 🙃.

@MrsKin90 fingers crossed for your blood test . I hope the gp is helpful 🤞🏻

@Bizawit This is my RHR chart from January. I would say you need a few months of data to figure out if there are any patterns for you, it seems that not everyone gets the same dips and spikes, etc! It's an interesting thing to monitor and correlate with other signs though. 🙂

@eloiseislost wow you had a big spike at ovulation as well! Thanks so much for sharing. Yeh, I only started wearing yesterday so probably not enough data to reallt tell 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just another thing to obsess over I guess 😂. I’m going to wait and see if AF comes before testing I think.

Thanks @Makingnumber2. I'm 14dpo today and have been expecting AF today. It hasn't shown up yet but it's been really feeling like it will since yesterday. I've only had BFNs and don't want to waste anymore FRERs now.

I completely fell apart with the disappointment yesterday. My emotions have been all over the place this cycle. It's because of lockdown and the difficulty to get sperm. This month I felt like I'd given it everything and I really wanted it to work as a result. I'm exhausted with it all.

@bitheby I'm so sorry you've had BFNs- it is so soul destroying when you don't see that second line despite doing everything you could have done to get that BFP. I know exactly that sense of crushing disappointment. Sending you a hug and hope you can just take it easy the next few days and (within the sodding lockdown limits) do things that bring you comfort.
Is it the covid restrictions which have made it difficult to get donor sperm? I can't imagine the extra stress that extra thing to organise must bring. I hope restrictions will be easing next month so it will become easier for you to get hold of it.

Hi @Bizawit it's great you're feeling in a positive mindset- definitely make the most of that! And how exciting you've got a new gadget and a new aspect of TTC to monitor too with the RHR. It's amazing how much it shifts on eloise's chart with ovulation and BFP. The body is quite amazing- all these things it does, mostly without us even realising.
Are you going to wait for AF this month or test early?
