Oh my goodness to say we are a chatty group is an understatement most times but that’s great cos it’s not all about TTC here, anything goes, we now have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat so a few ppl can pop up on top heads up and out into wind to gulp in the non TTC air but still hold on to us & know where we are...like our pups that come with us with ears flapping in the wind our beloved ladies may have one flap flying in the wind...”watch out for the left outer flap”...someone once shouted to their OH...that might set the tone here nicely.

Get it?! No?! Sometimes nor do we...🙄the chat, the deed, the sperm, the egg, the fact that we aren’t pregnant yet after shagging twelfty millions times a month forever. But we are here for each other, to chat shit, to help each other out the pits or wallow within the pits, for all the highs and lows.

@Minster2012 unfortunately think I am a ninja person to as it’s doesn’t tend to create lake spermo for me either. But then sometimes I think it really fires quite far up there if you get what I mean 😂

Does anyone know how long fertility treatment takes on the nhs? Its taken ages to work out the ccg for here (no idea why it's not obvious) but the cut off for ivf is under 40 (even though the hospital say 42). So the first bit has to be done whilst you are still 39.
How likely is it that everything would be done by then? Under 2 years does seem like a push. With wait times and now covid.

Ohh for anyone looking, I see the seven seas trying for a baby supplements are back in stock on amazon 🙌 I'll move back to them after finishing this pack of pregnacare I think. Although my pregnacare headaches have eased after taking them for a week, they are bigger to swallow and taste bad. I am still getting bright yellow urine from them too... anyone else had that?

Ohhh we had a bit of snow earlier but for like 10 minutes; didn't settle either so dd was devastated she couldn't make a snowman 🤣

I hate being a downer but in my close circle of friends there's 6 of us; and ones just had her second baby, another is due in April; and another just announced today shes pregnant (8wks) with her second too. Worst part is... we have been ttc our second since before all of them! And im still here waiting patiently whilst they have all said 'relax, it'll happen when you stop tracking everything'. I'm happy for them all; but @Vil10 that post hit home! I definitely felt a feeling of sadness and tears when she told me today :(
And the spotting i had last night has stopped again. So I've decided enough is enough...it isnt normal for me and tomorrow I'm going to tell the receptionist I don't care who I see but I want someone to investigate and help me before 20th march when I see the gynae.
I'm also questioning whether I can take myo inositol along with seven seas ttc?? I dont wanna over do it on the folic acid :/ opinions?? Xx

@paintfairy it's really difficult to say it's all different area to area I'm afraid. You've had the bloods yeah so are in the system?? In that case it shouldn't be too long. But it's all very area to area dependant. My area is about 5 months they've said even now, they are very good, previously it was 3/4 months from referral about 6 months to starting probably, about 8 months to starting now, Others are much worse.

@Minster2012 I've got my first appointment date in feb, but after that, I really wasn't sure what happened. So yes I'm in the system.

I've spent the afternoon declatering and reorganizing the bedroom, including moving a wardrobe to another room, I haven't finished but only reorganizing if clothes left, I'll just chuck everything in, and that'll be another's day job

@paintfairy do you know what the first appointment is for? Are you signing for funding? That's what ours is in feb. That and getting my amh tested and Dh getting a repeat SA. I reckon it'll be another two months after that before we actually start with the drugs etc and get going with it all!

@paintfairy that's good then, others will be in a better place to advise on their timescales more recently due to Covid cos for me because we have embryos there it's a bit different we just phone & they slot us in as we know the system it's just doing the forms again & they tell us when they can fit us in based on their timetables & my cycles. @clolo how long ago was your actual referral & you think March starting? @notyetamumbuttrying @Justanothercyster @Juno231 ?

@notyetamumbuttrying no, I've really no idea what happens! I've had bloods already. And this will be my first appointment after the referral from the GP. Its by phone though. So I really don't know what usually happens. More tests?

@Minster2012 you have, I am one of those animal lovers who doesn't mind eating them, or shooting them, my uncle had a farm and every year we had to kill the pigs, and prepare them for meat and sausages

@Minster2012 so we got referred in September. Dh was referred to urology, he had a scan and blood tests in Oct. he got a call in nov to go through the results, his urologist then put a fast track referral through and we got a letter in dec to say the first appointment would be in feb. Like you say tho, everyone goes through different ways as ours was all based off Dh urologist referral which not everyone goes through.
@paintfairy has Dh had an SA done? All bloods inc amh?

@notyetamumbuttrying DH had SA in Sept. So they might do another. I've had day 2 and 21 done only recently. No AMH, but I don't think they do that. Not sure if they'll do anything else. I had a pelvic scan the year before so the GP said no point repeating for them. I think if I hadn't, then one needed to happen before I could get referred. Oh I also had to had a chlamydia test for it.

@Minster2012 I never get pregnacare yellow wee. But the b vits I once tried did it!

@clolo oh that's really fast then! I can't believe how much it seems to vary. I don't expect it to be instant but if it can be within my 23 month window- that would be fantastic.

@paintfairy yeah they will if it was low. Was is alright? Once you're referred you get amh done. Yeah agree no point getting another pelvic scan. See I'd say @clolo timeline was quite quick! Both referred at same time but she already knows when she starting ivf and we're still waiting for the first appointment.

@paintfairy soooo we had our first apt in Dec I think? Can't actually remember, but that took a couple weeks to come through. We'd already had the tests beforehand so that part was fairly quick. Dh is on treatment plan 1 which is meds to help his sperm, so have an apt in April to see if it's worked. If not, she said she'd apply for ivf but you can't have it here until the 2 year ttc mark which would be august for us. It's a long process but different depending on everyone's situation I guess x
