Oh my goodness to say we are a chatty group is an understatement most times but that’s great cos it’s not all about TTC here, anything goes, we now have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat so a few ppl can pop up on top heads up and out into wind to gulp in the non TTC air but still hold on to us & know where we are...like our pups that come with us with ears flapping in the wind our beloved ladies may have one flap flying in the wind...”watch out for the left outer flap”...someone once shouted to their OH...that might set the tone here nicely.

Get it?! No?! Sometimes nor do we...🙄the chat, the deed, the sperm, the egg, the fact that we aren’t pregnant yet after shagging twelfty millions times a month forever. But we are here for each other, to chat shit, to help each other out the pits or wallow within the pits, for all the highs and lows.

Buff, finished the biggest bit and stuffed everything in every drawer, created a bit of a mess, but that will be sorted in the next few days but quite happy over all, I am knackered now though, I need to plan a take away for dinner cos I ain't cooking

Hey lovelies! So sorry I've been MIA on here this past week or so!
Been mentally exhausted to be honest.
If you remember I said how my team leader recently found out she is pregnant through IVF as sadly her partner had a very low sperm count.
I was chuffed for her as I've been there her whole journey. She is obviously very aware of my recent heartaches and my MMC in late sept. Since finding out she's pregnant she has been practically off work and I have had to cover her role so for the last 3.5 weeks as she is now 8 wks as she's had all day nausea...which I get it's horrific but I had all day sickness literally vomiting constantly and she showed me no sympathy at all when it was me yet since being off she has been constantly having me rallying around for her at work regarding the pregnancy as we work in drs surgery messaging me all the time and moaning about several things to do with the pregnancy. This has been for the last few weeks and as if work hasn't been stressful enough & with me trying etc. One of my other lovely colleagues has been really annoyed with said team leader for not taking my feelings in to account and to be honest I think it's started to really upset me how she's never once messaged me like I would have 100% done if it was the other way round just saying something like I'm really sorry if this is hard for you I hope you are okay. But nope nothing she has just acted very self centered and I am hurting. I am over the moon for her but just my heart aches for me too! I'm in the 2ww now and I've really been putting pressure on myself to be pregnant before she announces at 12 wks which sounds so stupid but I just thought atleast when people are constantly talking to her and it's all in my face atleast if I'm pregnant I may feel that bit better so I'm super worried if I'm not gonna be this month.
Sorry for ranting!

@Justanothercyster of course hun, im gonna ask the nurse tomorrow and see what she says about taking both plus ill ask doctor Google 🤣

@HollieL567 hmm, your colleague is right, and maybe someone should have pointed out to her, I've done the I need to be pregnant by X date so xyz can/cannot happen, it only makes it worst, I now try to forget is the tww until X date on the calendar, and I feel much happier

@notyetamumbuttrying the motility was lower than normal. But because his overall count was actually quite high, they said it wasn't a concern. Said borderline. Its not dire but could be better i guess?
@Justanothercyster yes i thought it was 2 years before they'll consider ivf. My concern was then if there's a waiting list after that point. As it won't be 2 years for us, for a while yet. So if there's then a long wait list, it leaves you tight for time.

@HollieL567 that doesn't sound fun at all! I suppose some people don't voice it though and not everyone would like to point it out, in case that upset you? But she doesn't sound very thoughtful generally.

@Franklydear Thankyou! I feel bad I think my emotions are just heightened at the moment but it just bothers me a bit that she's never reached out to me and said I really appreciate all your doing for me and I really hope your okay. Never mind I guess everyone is different! And yeah exactly that I really shouldn't put so much oressur eon myself it's bloody crazy what TTC can do to you!

@Justanothercyster I found this site, what i gather is that myo inositol alone has good results of restoring menstrual cycles but you CAN also mix with multi vitamins ie seven seas, heres the link. :)

Chocolate cake and custard in bed - wow sounds fabulous!

Ahhh missed a lot whilst we were doing (I would say Sunday roast) but it was one of those "buy in the foil packet "butter basted turkey roast things tonight so pretty simple here then DH's "cake" & custard for dessert then I was doing X's bedtime & clearing up...DH has just said, shall we go mad & watch death in paradise then I'll shove it up your bum?? Errrrr yes to the former, then no???

@paintfairy I'd def say within your 23 months absolutely. I wouldn't worry bout that at all. And mostly AMH is done at the ivf place. @clolo's is pretty quick like round here, yes it shows the difference, but yeah it's all supply & demand in your area I'm afraid, same as anything I guess based on waiting lists for the various areas but you should be fine, I will drop you a pm if that's ok?

@Kirky658 my DH's "speciality" when he's cooking usually is stroganoff 🤣he loves it!

It's really hard and I'm afraid some ppl just don't think and become really self centred twats when they get pregnant, they think the world revolves around them and I guess the sickness makes it worse and lose all sense of being a normal human being, of which I struggle to function being a normal human being anyway let alone when super sick so I guess it's easily possible. I only hope I would not be a twat. However, your colleague sounds like a twat. You can try tell yourself you'd like to forget about getting pregnant by X time, that would be great, the ideal perhaps, try that first, the no pressure approach on yourself. But we know TTC makes you crazy too, so maybe just tell her (or your lovely colleague to tell her instead so it's not you) that's she's being an insensitive moany twat instead & to get her ass back to work?!!

Someone remind me of that if I get lucky enough to get pregnant and get super sick & whinge 🤣

@paintfairy @Justanothercyster 2 years yes I believe so in most areas though I think in some places it can be slightly less depending on your age and the wait times for that particular reason (again based purely on my conversations with my particular clinic who are very accommodating it seems to enabling ppl to get in before 40) but it depends if there's a known medical condition also

@Minster2012 the buff, I decided late this morning to reorganise my bedroom and declutter... also involve moving a wardrobe, I did quite a lot, and then I had to tidy up so I can use the bed and drawers until I finish the job, probably next weekend, I like it sooner though, so completely knackered though, but quite happy with it

@paintfairy I think it depends on the clinic tbh, mine has said it's usually around 3-4 weeks from applying for funding x

@HollieL567 what a palava! You poor thing. All I can say is I've spent a lot of time putting pressure on myself to get pregnant before others or certain dates etc, and it did me no good other than hating myself for "failing" each time and just adding unnecessary stress. Try to be kind to yourself x

@paintfairy might be worth another one just to see if motility has increased but count is most important so if that's high then defo not a concern! It's only two years when there's no known issue. You can get referred because of female and or male factor under the two years of ttc. We're 16 months and was referred at 14 months due to dh sperm issues.

@Minster2012 haha he's like mine then as that's what I was talking to @Kirky658 about. Dh's beef stroganoff, it was delicious slow cooked! Dh is a great cook and always does it. I do the cleaning mainly.

@HollieL567 I think others just don't always think of anyone but themselves? My friend hated anyone going on about people being pregnant or fertility stuff when they were struggling. Now they've gone for private ivf and I get full on lowdown of info. And some days I'm just not mentally equipped to deal with it, when I have my own struggles, you know? It depends where you are at in your own headspace. I suppose sometimes you might overshare not knowing the other person has a situation. But if they do know, then really people should be more thoughtful.
