TTC bus 29...
Oh my goodness to say we are a chatty group is an understatement most times but that’s great cos it’s not all about TTC here, anything goes, we now have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat so a few ppl can pop up on top heads up and out into wind to gulp in the non TTC air but still hold on to us & know where we are...like our pups that come with us with ears flapping in the wind our beloved ladies may have one flap flying in the wind...”watch out for the left outer flap”...someone once shouted to their OH...that might set the tone here nicely.

Get it?! No?! Sometimes nor do we...🙄the chat, the deed, the sperm, the egg, the fact that we aren’t pregnant yet after shagging twelfty millions times a month forever. But we are here for each other, to chat shit, to help each other out the pits or wallow within the pits, for all the highs and lows.

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

What's the broadband deal?

notyetamumbuttrying · 23/01/2021 17:07

@clolo yeah my area is 1 fresh and 2 frozen thank god!! I'm sticking with optimism that it'll work first time for now 😁 I think long is for low amh so yeah yours will be short. I'm getting my amh checked at the feb appointment so I'll find out then. I'm hoping it's high as my blood work was high with confirming ovulation.
@paintfairy ah I see. Hope not too long a wait for her then!
@Gem176 lovely, that's so nice! How far along ru again? Yeah my dads a big kid at heart, it's lovely to see!
@Minster2012 oh I was just carrying on from what @Gem176 said, she spoiled it first 😝 I can understand your worry but hopefully all goes ok! 🤞🏾hope you sort the bank stuff sounds stressful and a bloody nuisance! Oh just seen your follow up! Tuesdays not bad at all then phew 😅 yeah they can rarely trace them, I had similar done a few years ago. Such a hassle! That broadband deal is amazing! We pay virgin like £85 a month now for tv n phone as well (which we don't have a landline), it's just gone up n up and we can't get through to them to cancel tv off. So annoying!
@Vil10 yep love it, it's so easy right 😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 23/01/2021 17:09

Oh and think it was @clolo who asked about mortgage and declaring being pregnant? Dh said don't bother declaring it as you could end up borrowing less as they adjust the affordability calculator. You won't get penalised later either so worth not telling them once you're applying for a new one.

Florence13 · 23/01/2021 17:27

@Minster2012 I remember those days and talking about taking photos for fertile week. I actually went and had a boudoir shoot and bought a load of sexy lingerie all for my hubby!

DJmum83 · 23/01/2021 17:37

Happy birthday @Juno231 hope you have had a great day xx

Heyyy again! I need some advice?...anyone who has taken seven seas ttc, have you had irregular spotting since starting them? I have been taking them for about 6/7 weeks and had AF on 9th nov, then spotting on 4th and 6th jan and again just now... I didn't confirm ovulation in the last 14 days as my temps were so up and down ff couldn't determine ovulation and I never had any watery cm... im getting worried the seven seas is doing more harm than good?? (I have pcos btw and seemingly successfully ovulate every 143 days)

I'll catch up tomorrow but have my step daughter here tonight so trying to entertain her and our 3yr old haha! Hope everyone's ok! Xx

Hopeful110 · 23/01/2021 18:00

Heres my chart for reference but I'm sure I haven't ovulated...and not due to ovulate til march 20th (cd 143) lol xx

Ffs just typed a whole message to people and it deleted. Thank you for the advice re: ivf! Very helpful! Apparently we get 1 fresh transfer and then 1 frozen as long as it's after 3 months, so I suppose that's good. Only one funded though, and it seems like that's one ever, not per year?!

Here's a pic I took yesterday morning and forgot to share with you all. Fresh hope and life and all that ... had a cute quote and everything before MN deleted the entire message 😂🤍

Justanothercyster · 23/01/2021 18:05

@Hopeful110 I have pcos and have been taking seven seas, no issues. Could be a pcos thing? Maybe your body needs to "shed"?

Hopeful110 · 23/01/2021 18:09

@Justanothercyster hmmm its strange though as before I started seven seas I never ever spotted, and then two occasions in 1 month 19 days apart, should I carry on taking them? Surely it can't cause the spotting?? I normally only get like 2 or 3 periods in a year, But its the only thing I've changed...plus last night tmi but I had 1 bout of bad upset tummy, and had a pounding headache all day and have felt sick all day :( xx

Kirky658 · 23/01/2021 18:10

@florence13 I got DH a couples boudoir photoshoot for Xmas!

paintfairy · 23/01/2021 18:15

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah we are with virgin too. It keeps going up! We likely have the same as you. And it's expensive for what it is. Our remote only half works and the catch up frequently doesn't work. What am I paying for?! We only have the first tv package (whilst I think it's slightly more than freeview) I don't think it's worth 80 odd quid a month?! They are offering me customers the same for much less. As are sky. I did wonder if to swap but I hate ringing. Plus we need no time without Internet, as we both wfh.

Minster2012 · 23/01/2021 18:20

@lucyrp I can't believe 10 weeks!! Jessssuuuuussss!!!

@Kirky658 that doesn't include line rental we pay that separately but yeah it's currently £8 a month & the renewal said £20 a month so we yes £4.70 please?! How do you work that out 🤦🏼‍♀️my line rental takes total to £20 per month

@Franklydear I shall call you ma'am from now on then, and you are perfect here to m'lady...curtesy and away I scuttle but bloody hell I can't eat that late, but then again I can't stay up as late as you either🤣broadband above ☝🏻£4.70 a month (not including line rental, Plusnet)

@Florence13 ooo a boudoir shoot, I'm too tight, I did a version of the night before my wedding my best friend & I (the one that carried DS) took shots of me naked & in my wedding night undies in our wedding night room (we all stayed in the venue for the weekend) and I sent them to DH the night before the wedding when we had boys in one wing of the house, girls another
As a "can't wait to see you tomorrow...this is what you are getting as a Mrs..." 🤫so best friend & I have shared a few things she was all about getting the lighting right!

@notyetamumbuttrying it will alllllll work first time & you will have left overs for brothers & sisters 🥰

@Hopeful110 not for me I'm afraid but I've never had proper cycles darling I'm hoping someone else can help??! 🤞🏻gosh I really hope you do ovulate xx

Minster2012 · 23/01/2021 18:28

@Justanothercyster that's such a beautiful picture ❤️yes so thats the postcode lottery I'm afraid, so it's 2 cycles effectively, but one fresh and then one frozen for you, in all, not per year no, it's in total. It's so unfair based on where you live but it's just done on the local health authorities funding for ivf. 3 months isn't unusual in between cycles if you think we've gone sep/Oct to effectively starting again jan. But from that fresh cycle you could get any number of frozen embryos to then go on with but hopefully not need them or would just have to pay privately to use any of them after you got one child through the nhs xx

@Juno231 happy birthday!!!! 🧁
Xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 23/01/2021 18:37

@clolo I'm sure I'll feel differently once we're in it all but for now that's my mantra!
No probs, yeah do.
@Justanothercyster yeah it's one off funding arrangement. So if I want my frozen embryos transferred in the future (if the fresh goes well) then that'll have to be privately done.
Gorge pic, thanks for sharing ♥️
@paintfairy yeah we get fibre with virgin around here so it's the best available which is annoying. We pay for bt sports, well Dh does lol so it's a bit more for that a month too. I won't talk to them as I hate it too. Dh will just have to keep trying.
@Minster2012 thanks 🙏🏾that's the mantra for now anyway! 😁

Franklydear · 23/01/2021 18:38

Ah, broadband plus line rental, I also need to have international calls included, as I have to call both mothers every week, plus aunties occasionally, and nobody has mobiles, let alone know what wassapp is

Minster2012 · 23/01/2021 18:41

@Dollybird89 btw, I would assume that "ranking" also means your area is ranked number 2 in the country though maybe not upto date, I can't remember where the actual list is cos I chose to just go "well I live where I live I'm not changing that" so DEF don't cancel your appointment but yes, they do take BMI into account but ours do waive a bit above 30 but it's good motivation 🙌🏻

OP posts:
Justanothercyster · 23/01/2021 18:55

@Hopeful110 hmmm shouldn't be the seven seas as they're just vitamins, surely? Are you sure you don't have a bug or something? Or PG??

@Minster2012 @notamumbuttrying gosh it's just such a headache. So very unfair. I just really am hoping for a miracle. For all of us ❤️

@Juno231 happy birthday! 🎉🎉🎉

notyetamumbuttrying · 23/01/2021 19:04

@Minster2012 talking of bmi I thought 30 was standard. Turns out guys and at Thomas want it lower than 29..,mines 29.2 at present, talk about close! 😬 I know I have weight to lose regardless of ivf so I'm already on it and will get below it before the appointment date! So @Dollybird89 check your hospital website to see what they specifically say if you're concerned about bmi.
@Justanothercyster a miracle is defo what we all need! 🗣 oi universe! Are you listening?! 😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 23/01/2021 19:05

St* Thomas's not at! Autocorrect constantly does that to that word 😠

Hopeful110 · 23/01/2021 19:08

@Justanothercyster well I've read about them making some peoples cycles longer but not causing spotting :/ I've only had a headache and felt sick today but could be because I haven't really eaten today :( and im 98% sure im not pregnant but il do a cheapy in morning to be doubly sure. Just gonna keep an eye on it.. it was quite a bit when I wiped but not fresh blood just pink :/ xx

bez91 · 23/01/2021 19:20

@Minster2012 yes symptoms similar to before – lots of twinges and ridiculous amounts of watery CM the last couple of day (sorry TMI) I’m not being too optimistic as it could mean nothing. Ahh that is bugger, you’d have hoped they’d have taken your shitty circumstances into consideration, can totally get your frustration if like you say if your area is one of the better funded – hopefully this one all goes well. Really hoping for you!
@Juno321 Happy birthday!

Minster2012 · 23/01/2021 19:43

I know right @Justanothercyster errrrrr hello, this thread please universe ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻

@notyetamumbuttrying really?? They then say 29??? Well I'm not saying in Hull they have a somewhat lax attitude to children but hey, 3 cycles AND they don't mind a bit above 30 BMI 😬🤫😆. Bearing in mind the uk dress size average is what a 14/16 it's a bit outdated surely?? I don't really know but my friend as a size 14 only just scraped it before

Ooooo @bez91 a lot of ppl get watery CM before a BFP I think & we have no TMI here!

I've handed over reigns of DS to DH after he got back, so I'm now chilling & fighting with some fabric for @Clairey844 & really thinking this is a project too far & totally not worth it 😬
