Hi all,

Is there any others currently in their 2ww?

OH works away so we could only DTD 2-3 days before O. So I don't know whether I'm that hopeful. Plus it's our first month trying for #2.

So is there anyone else currently waiting and we can support each other through the wait? I'll be 10dpo on the 22nd which would be amazing if I get a positive as it will be a year on from a loss.

@1littlewren I’m exactly the same! I want to be married but can’t deal with the stress this year not knowing how many people can come or even if we can dance etc. Just easier to go with 2022.

3 year difference between babies would be lovely! Me & my sister there’s 3 yrs different and we’re really close growing up & now.

Well I’m defo testing tomorrow now you’ve said you had the same 😂 I haven’t actually got any in the house so it’ll have to be an afternoon test 🙈 will let you know how I get on! X

@NW2021 I like the idea of 3 years, I feel like my boy will be able to understand and be useful but also still young enough to have a great bond with a sibling (not that a bigger age gap would be an issue either, I'll be happy whatever the gap!)

Literally you need to let me know. I will take out my need to POAS virtually knowing someone else is doing it!! However, just bear in mind that it's still early and you may not get your BFP but it doesn't mean you won't!!! However, all fingers crossed still!

Yes we are trying for our first. Symptoms started a couple of days ago with tingling feeling turning into cramps and slightly sore boobs. Feeling really tired today but that's probably just because I didn't sleep too well as I was over thinking things all night!!

Do you guys get symptoms most months or quite rarely?

@Gspps yes that time should be fine! Apparently the day before O can provide better chances but I don't know how true that is. My OH works away so we DTD around 3 days before O... I'm hopeful but not sure what our chances will be. Baby dust to you x

@catlady1986 sore boobs and tiredness are always my first symptoms of pregnancy along with getting up during the night to pee... trust me nothing wakes me up usually haha! X

Yes dtd day before positive result! Really hoping it worked!
I think days is okay too as sperm can last up to 5 days in fertile conditions :D

@Gspps yeah hun, I think you're right that it can. I think it's 3 days you have a 20-30% chance and 5 days a 10% chance. It says on the NHS website sperm can live up to 7 days which I found the other week! Be interesting to see if anyone on here has conceived 7 days before O? it's crazy isn't it we spend years trying to not get pregnant, and then we realise it's actually not as easy as we think when we start trying!

I actually think I'm going to test at 10dpo, I've seen ladies on here get BFPs at 10dpo, although I've seen plenty get a BFN only to get a BFP days later. I'm 10dpo on the 22nd plus OH will be home too! That day is just important to us from a previous loss so really hoping it can provide us with some happiness instead. But then I'm thinking if it's a BFN I'll be so upset so not sure whether to leave it until 24th just before OH goes to work away again? That will make me about 12dpo! When do you think you'll test if you're due on 29? X

I know exactly what you mean - i feel like my whole life is waiting at the moment ... waiting for my fertile window then waiting for the end of the 2ww then waiting again!! hopefully we all won't have to wait too much longer x

@1littlewren I’ll defo post tomorrow! I’m not getting my hopes up to be honest but I’m impatient 😂 I knew I wouldn’t last till my AF is due. Now doubting all my symptoms as just AF.

@alixxx1@Gspps we DTD 4 days before ovulation so I’m hoping the 5-7 day sperm survival works 🤦🏼‍♀️ (Last time we could do it with Mr going away with work) not getting my hopes up this time but fingers crossed!

I think if the date is special to you it might bring you extra luck 🤍 I’m going to test tomorrow and I’ll be 10DPO I’ve seen people on here as well get very faint lines so fingers crossed!

Yes you’re so right!! When we were younger it was like if you have unprotected sex you’re going to get pregnant 🤣 yes I’ve read about 7 days too but feel like that’s a bit of a stretch but who knows would be interesting to see if anyone has for sure!

Hmm it’s a hard one as if it is bfn you will feel a bit deflated ... if OH is still home 12dpo maybe wait until then? Just gives you that extra few days of certainty x

Im not sure when I’ll test really, I’m the same I don’t want to test too early and then be disappointed, I’ll be 10dpo on 25th so I’m a bit behind you, maybe I’ll wait until the 27th just to be safe, going to be such a long wait though 😭 xx

Tested this morning and it was negative, then immediately started bleeding, making last month a 24 day cycle. I have short cycles anyway 26-28 usually though so that was short even for me. I think it might be because I'm still breastfeeding my 1 year old.

Yes a three year gap is lovely, I have two years nine months between number one and number two and they are best friends x

@Violet1988 sorry you've started AF 😔 How old are your little ones? If you're still BF I'm assuming they're still fairly little? How did you find going from 1 to 2 as it terrifies me!

Here's a hilarity... woke up at 3am and knew I was going to test because I'm a weirdo (way way to early, I don't think implantation will even have happened) so obviously waited and got a neg... woken up this morning to this.... 99% certain it's an evap but I am also 1% thinking I perhaps didn't wait long enough as I was so tired 🤷🏻‍♀️

I still haven’t tested. Going out today to get one. I’m trying not to get my hopes up though as I think I’m still too early. X

@alixxx1 yea I have a stash but I'm reluctant to test again as I'm pretty sure it was BFN and it's way too early. Will try and hold off until the weekend (haha yea right!)

BFN for me today. It’s ok though I was kinda expecting it. The growing pains seem stronger today so I’m guessing AF might be on its way (due 20th) or maybe implantation as I’m 10dpo today?! I dunno.
I hate this waiting game!! 😂

@NW2021 don't count yourself out, like you say it's still early. When is AF due? With my first it took ages for my BFP,
I was testing loads and they were all BFN until one morning I woke up and almost just knew. First morning wee is always best as well!
