Hi all,

Is there any others currently in their 2ww?

OH works away so we could only DTD 2-3 days before O. So I don't know whether I'm that hopeful. Plus it's our first month trying for #2.

So is there anyone else currently waiting and we can support each other through the wait? I'll be 10dpo on the 22nd which would be amazing if I get a positive as it will be a year on from a loss.

Hi! I'm in tww, 3dpo, AF due on 28th. We've been trying since August, thought we'd cracked it last month but unfortunately had a chemical. So hoping that this month is it! Trying to keep busy but hard not to obsess! Hope for lots of good news and BFPs for everyone on this thread!

I struggle a bit with ovulation symptoms. I don’t seem to notice many, and find the more I look the more I think I fabricate them 🙈. Does anyone else not have obvious ovulation symptoms?

Hey all,

So glad this thread is active! I am on (what I think is) 6dpo and I am going nuts already. I have been soooo dizzy and slightly nauseous today so obviously I am now convincing myself they are pregnancy symptoms. It’s funny because I have also got it stuck in my head that this month it’s going to happen. If it does then it’ll be due date almost exactly the same as my little man’s bday which would be cute but I am also sat here telling myself that I got pregnant in January last time so it’s of course going to happen in January again. What is wrong with me 🤣🤣

How are we all doing? Anyone near to AF and testing or are we all going mad in TWW?

I don’t plan to test. When we started trying i tested LOADS and now feel i just need to wait for AF... which is due 22nd...

@WaitingForEgg this month I didn't have any EWCM and usually I do. Sorry for the TMI but my CM seemed quite thick during supposed ovulation so I'm a little worried that we haven't been successful this month. But I don't know if I'm just obsessing a little. Since we discussed TTC I've been obsessing over symptoms and every twinge etc. I've got absolute chronic heartburn this month but it would be too soon to be pregnancy I would have thought and think I'm also playing mind tricks on myself. I don't think I really get O symptoms to be honest. X

@1littlewren I'm the same as you with the symptoms. I have chronic heartburn and I'm so tired and peeing loads but it would be too soon for symptoms I think! Awww that would be lovely if you could get a BFP this month. I plan to test on 10DPO which is a year anniversary since we lost our baby. I don't know whether doing that is the best thing because if I get a BFN then I think I'll just be so heartbroken but I'm adamant if I test that day, I will get a miracle BFP. Still not over the grief of the loss, hence why we waited so long to TTC again. X

@WaitingForEgg I was the same! We’ve only been trying a short time (this being the 3rd month) the first couple of months I tested loads! This time I’m really trying to hold out! I’m due 20th. X

@alixxx1 I will keep everything crossed for you lovely, that would be an amazing date to get your BFP. I've read some people get their BFP with really early symptoms and others saying it's a load of rubbish so who knows, I like to think that if it's out of the ordinary then there is always a chance!

@NW2021 Trying since October (ish) which is honestly about the same time it took with my first. I am so much more obsessive this time though!

Hi can I join you all. First month TTC number 3. AF is due around 19th/20th and I'm 10dpo today. Would like to test tomorrow but trying to wait until at least Monday which would be 12dpo. Body's been playing tricks on me with symptoms like weird nausea feeling in the nights for last few nights and today this shortness of breath.

@1littlewren I’m the same trying since Oct with Dec missed (Mr works away) I was naive to think it would happen straight away but I honestly thought it wouldn’t be an issue, I’ve been off contraception for years, healthy, exercising, not drinking or smoking. I know on average it takes 12mths but now I’ve seen the negative tests last couple of months I just think it’s never going to happen. Silly I know! I need to stay positive. It’s a long road & it helps so much hearing everyone’s stories! xx

@NW2021 are you trying to conceive number 1? I wasn't planning on testing early. I did start with the best of intentions to just wait for af but that resolve is already fading because of my bodies ability to conjure up believable pregnancy symptoms out of thin air!

@NW2021 I think we are conditioned at school to believe that the first time you have unprotected sex you will get pregnant so it's hard when you get to it and it doesn't happen straight away. Are you ttc your first? I was super obsessive for the first couple of months with my first and then almost gave up on the month we did conceive. Don't put pressure on yourself and it will happen I'm sure 😊

@Violet1988 I think we all start out with the best of intentions and then we all crack especially with those 'imaginary' symptoms. Lord knows I've spent far too much on tests when I knew it was far too early 🤣

@Violet1988 @1littlewren yeah trying for our 1st. We were meant to get married last year & then postponed to this year, now it’s getting postponed again to 2022 because of Covid, nightmare! So we decided to try for a baby instead. I’m 30 (31 in May) so thought best start now as I would like a few children (hopefully!)

You’re completely right, conditioned to think you’ll just get pregnant every time you have sex! It wasn’t till I started tracking my periods years ago that I knew there was only 5-6 days that you could!

‘Imaginary symptoms’ are defo a thing! I’ve been thinking I’ve had them all since 5dpo ha!

@NW2021 ahh you're in a similar situation to us. We were supposed to be married in July 2020 but I've moved it to 2022 so I can have a baby as I don't think Covid will let me have the wedding I want this year. I am 31 nearly 32 and my OH is 38 in Feb so want to have our 2nd sooner rather than later.

I must admit I have learnt so much since trying to conceive but it sure does play tricks on you. Did you say you'd been trying since about Oct as well?

@1littlewren it’s a bloody nightmare isn’t it with the wedding but I’m just glad we moved it to next year now, less stress!

How olds your first little one? Id like to try this year then try again after the wedding. But let’s face it when trying for a baby it never goes how you planned!

It really does, like today & yesterday I keep having these twinges in my groin it’s not period pains just like pulling of a muscle type pain? I’m thinking way to much in to it!

Yeah we tried Oct & Nov. Mr is in the military so wasn’t home for Ovulation in Dec. I thought I might of missed it in Jan as well to be honest but app says Ovulation happened earlier than we though so fingers crossed!
I’m on 10dpo tomorrow and I just don’t think I can last any longer, I’m going to have to test!

@NW2021 it's been so horrible trying to decide what to do for the best as I'm desperate to get married so I have the same name as my son and OH but I also do not want the stress of not knowing what I can and can't do for my wedding, which is very selfish of me in the current climate!

My little man will be 3 in October which terrifies me as I'm sure he is still a baby!!!

Not to fuel your symptom spotting but the only thing I had with my first was like a pulled muscle type feeling around the top of my groin area!!! I was convinced I'd over done it at the gym 🤣

Been ttc for 6 months now and this is the first month I have had any symptoms. starting reading all these different threads on mumsnet and it feels so good to know there are others in the same boat. I'm on 9dpo and finding it so hard to focus on anything but noticing every single twinge!!
