New Cycle starting 13/01/21

Just wondering if anyone wants to join me for a new cycle starting yesterday (or thereabouts)? AF reared her ugly head yesterday so it's new cycle time. This will be my 3rd cycle after a MMC in October last year. Let's support each other through this!

I had MMC last summer, this will be month 2 TTC on CD4 - can I join?! :) x

@Amz6219 sorry to hear about your MMC. Of course you can join! Was feeling really down yesterday and today I'm just so determined and felt like starting a support group!

Sorry to hear of yours too, it's a horrible time isn't it.

I was the same - was doing FRER from about 8dpo determined that it would be BFP first month! Gutted when period showed up bang on time but has made me super determined for this month. Fingers crossed for us! xx

My cycle started 8/1/21
I had a miscarriage in November after finding out I was pregnant on my 21st bday

Just started TTC 2 days ago and I'm so so nervous because all I want is a baby. I'm also trying to learn about all the different times in the cycle and when to test and the "days past ovulation " thing

@SweetSunflowerBoo Welcome! So sorry to hear about your MMC too. I totally understand. It's almost all I can think about at the moment. Got work to keep me busy but the longing for a wee one is always there.
It took me a wee while to understand the lingo too but just ask if you're not sure about anything.

For the first time in 4 years AF was late and by 4 days this is a lot for me so I was hoping it was going to be a BFP but unfortunately not.
I had started taking folic acid this month and even tho it helps get pregnant I was convinced it slowed AF down, so I didnt take it yesterday and AF showed up🤣 it could be all in my head but I'm convinced

@Aims1991 I know what you mean. I had spotting a few days ago and was praying it was implantation bleeding as I was about 9dpo but then AF came right on time. Curses!

Hi everyone, day 4 of AF for me, it came 4 days early I thought I was experiencing implantation bleeding to begin with as spotting pink which I never usually do, but nope body playing tricks on me, this will be cycle number 4.. hoping this is the month for me... good luck to all😊xx

@Jordie24 I hate it when my body does that! I'm using Flo to track my cycle and didn't log AF until Wednesday as that's when it became full blown red/darker and heavier flow compared to the light pinkish brown spotting I'd had a couple of days before.

I hate that implantation bleeding and other symptoms can also just be signs of PMS or whatever. Why can't our bodies just be clear with us instead if getting our hopes up by messing us around!

Hi sorry for jumping on your post I am on cycle day 19 and had positive ovulation test yesterday cycle day 18 I've been trying for 3 years and first month tracking ovulation due to irregular periods I have a 4 year old girl which took 2 years and want my children close together in age so hoping it doesn't take to much longer just need people to take to while I wait and see if this is the month or not as I haven't told family me and my partner are trying due to it taking so long

I hope it’s okay to join this?! Pretty sure AF started on 13/1/21 but interested to hear other people’s opinions!!
TTC month 1 (now technically on month 2) tracked cycle using Flo after coming off the pill in November. First AF 15/12/20-21/12/20 so was expecting to ovulate potentially around 28/29th Dec according to Flo - all tests were negative and I was due to start AF 2 days ago. On that day, I had very light spotting in the morning which I thought could potentially be implantation bleeding but then it became more bleeding rather than spotting, but nowhere near as heavy as last month. Last month was pretty heavy for most of the 6 days, whereas this month, I’m only on day 3 and already seemed to be getting a lot of (sorry for tmi) dark brownish blood. Is this just a regular period and last time was heavier due to it being first period off the pill? Sorry if that’s a long post but I know people have different experiences with implantation bleeding and I think I just need to get the idea that it’s implantation bleeding out of my head!!😂

I think my periods ar coming back to normal after my MMC. My first 2 were heavier and lasted for about 4 days, whereas previously they were only 2 days (3 at most). I stopped bleeding yesterday. I'm a wee bit confused as I had spotting just before so not sure if that was just spotting or the start of my actual period. Any way, I'm glad they're sorting themselves out...I hope!

@KeepSmiling89 thank you! On day 4 of AF today and usually go till about day 6 so then we can start trying again! Only month 2 but have a good feeling about this month so fingers crossed!!🤞🏼

Hi everyone! Hooe you're all happy and healthy just now.

Anyone else using OPK to track ovulation? I looked at the instryction leaflet and, based on my average cycle length of 34 days, I should start testing on day 17...which will be 29th January.
When will everyone else be testing? I'm also using the Flo app. Bit annoyed that you have to pay for 'premium' content, but just happy to be able to track my cycle for now.

Just giving this a wee bump as I realise my last post was rather late last night!

@KeepSmiling89 I started testing on day 5 which I know is super early but I wanted to see a progression of the line on the ov tests this cycle as it’s only my 2nd cycle! Due to ovulate around day 15 I believe so probably about 26/27th Jan! Have you used OPKs before?

I started testing on CD8 with CB dual hormone, have had 4 days of flashing smiley now so just waiting for peak 😬 (predicting ovulation CD15/16 which is 24th/25th) x

@mollyaimee yes I have. I fell pregnant the 2nd month of using them last year so hoping we'll be lucky again this time.

I'm just using cheap ones - One Step I think they're called. Got them on ebay for about £7 for a pack of 50 ovulation tests and 10 pregnancy tests. Did the job for us last time.

@KeepSmiling89 oh that gives me hope then, we’re on our 2nd cycle this month! Definitely didn’t track as accurately last month but wanted to just see how things go, but this month I’m a little more aware of my cycle which hopefully will help!

I've unfollowed a lot on social media because I can't be doing with it!

Day 8 of flashing smileys for me... looking like it might be a later ovulation than I expected! Been doing EOD since CD9 so hopefully enough to catch whenever it happens! x

@amz6219 ooh, exciting! I made a wee mistake, fertile days in Flo start from Wednesday...ovulation not due til next Tuesday is looks like.

Very tempted to do the same re. Facebook.

21st - 26th showing as my fertile days, fingers crossed! I am like a mad woman peeing on OPKs all day! x

@Amz6219 I’m the same I think.. ovulation day due weds for me, but again can’t stop using OPKs! Trying the clear blue digital properly this month but just circles for me so far! Also, I’ve got another brand of cheap OPKs and I don’t like them as much as the easy@home ones! The control line is much much fainter so it’s hard to compare. Going to try my hardest not to symptom spot after Wednesday!!
