New Cycle starting 13/01/21

Just wondering if anyone wants to join me for a new cycle starting yesterday (or thereabouts)? AF reared her ugly head yesterday so it's new cycle time. This will be my 3rd cycle after a MMC in October last year. Let's support each other through this!

I’ve got to the point where I’ve decided “committed” aka much more dtd is required because it hasn’t worked for us just doing it once or twice or three times in the fertile week. Wanted to try the every other day all month plan but my dh was sick at the start of this cycle so went all in on the every day plan instead.

It’s ok so far @Amz6219. I tried it last summer and it bored me because I hate routine but since we had no luck between the poor attempt at summer charting and the end of the year I decided try again but do it properly (same time each day etc). So far it’s starting to give me a good indication that I ovulate later than CD14 (more like 17/18 for me) which I had suspected but wasn’t sure of. Will keep it up and hopefully a pattern will be revealed. How’s it going for you? Have you found it ok? I take it you can’t see signs of ovulation appearing on it yet?

@mollyaimee so sorry for the delay in replying to your post. I know what you mean, but I don't think it's a line to be honest...sorry! Have you taken another test since Saturday and seen a clearer line?

Bit of a turbulent weekend as had a row with DH on Saturday night (ovulation day of all days!) So not been here much. Made up now and DTD a few times on Saturday day time (sorry if TMI!) so fingers crossed.

Now in the dreaded 2 week wait for AF. Took an ovulation test today as my expected ovulation date was tomorrow...tis negative so looks like ovulation was early this month.

@mollyaimee @Amz6219 @thislitylebird @purplepoppet92 how are we all doing this week so far? Anyone else in their 2 week wait?

@KeepSmiling89 I’m pretty sure I ovulated on cd 18/19 this month which is later than I expected but got a pretty strong positive OPK on the morning of CD18 so now in the 2WW! Completely disregarded the HCG test I did, I just had line eyes and thought I’d ovulated early but I’m pretty sure now that I didn’t!

Trying my hardest not to symptom spot this time, especially earlier on when I wouldn’t have even implanted yet!! Going to try and hold out to at least 10DPO to test, although I’m not sure I will😂 how about you? How’s it going so far for you?

Yeah, I am. I got my CB peak day 15 and pretty sure I ovulated day 17, so I am now 4dpo and definitely in the 2ww except I seem to have a shorter luteal phase so it’s more like the 11 or 12 day wait lol.

I’m ok so far and experiencing nothing whatsoever but it’s been so long that I also sort of don’t expect it to work and just wait for AF to show her ugly face again . I don’t test unless I’m late and if I ever do AF will show up hours later without fail so I just try to wait her out.

I seem to have missed some messages here for some reason!! I’m in the dreaded TWW, started charting this month and it originally had today as 4dpo but changed to 3dpo (felt ovulation pain this month so knew really). Feel totally fine with no symptoms to spot!

Late ovulation for me too! Peak OPK CD19 and ovulation CD21! Ended up with 11 flashing smileys on clearblue!

Added my chart because it’s first month and I find it so interesting! ☺️

@Amz6219 I also started charting this month on FF. I'm finding it both interesting and stressful 😅 my temperatures seem a bit erratic. I've attached mines so you can compare if you like... I ovulated quite early this month for some reason. In fact I panicked and had to DTD every day because of it I wasn't expecting it so soon! Are you taking your temps orally?

Unfortunately I don't think this is my month as I tested today on a FRER and it was BFN 👎🏻 hopefully the rest of you have some luck though!

I was the opposite, I was getting fed up and totally disheartened because it was dragging on 🙈 was panicking that it was going to be an anovulatory month.. luckily I spotted the EWCM so got a few days before ovulation in!

Crazy that your CD21 is 10dpo and it was ovulation for me!

Yep taking orally around 7am. How does the testing heart rate work??

Only 10dpo, give it a couple of days and try again - everything crossed for you! 🤞☺️ X

@Amz6219 I've been putting in the RHR manually from my Fitbit every day... not fun I'll admit 😅 but wanted to see it in a graph! The fact that it dropped so much doesn't bode well. I will try and keep hopeful just incase it was too early though 🤞

Your temperatures look a lot better than mines as mines do seem quite low (35.75 during AF). I've been taking readings orally too but I noticed I've been waking up with my mouth open a lot which might be messing with the temps. Over the last few days I've started closing my mouth when I wake and lying still for a minute before taking the temperature and hopefully that's more accurate.

Have you got the free premium trial since starting on FF? I've been moseying around the community charts gallery as you can compare with pregnant charts and overlay your own. Quite interesting

Mine is all over the place, I have a dotted crosshair because cd16 is confusing it. I don’t know what went on there but I’m pretty sure I ovulated, had an AFC scan on day 15 and my big follicle was very much there.

I temp vaginally and I think it makes a difference to your temps, they were a bit different to when I did it before (as a bonafide mouth breather I decided to switch it up).

@thislittlebird That explains the lack of AF temperatures then 😆 I was thinking about switching to that method for more accuracy. I'll see how the next cycle goes first I think as it's easier to go under the tongue haha

Haha yesss no need to subject my thermometer to that @2020mission. Had planned to dtd every other day this month but my husband was ill at the start of my cycle so we’ll try that this upcoming month instead.

I’ve got used to it now but it involves more wriggling around at 7am and annoying my husband lol

@thislittlebird I really have no idea if I had an early peak or not as I tried out the premom app and it said my tests were 'low'. Suppose I'm just hoping and praying now. Think I'm currently 4dpo.

Never done temping and not doing it just now. Will just wait and see what happens. Might try a sneaky OPK just now...Will probably be negative but hey ho. Who knows!

Ladies think I'm out this cycle I've been spotting today and that's a pre AF sign for me. I always spot for a few days before AF.
The only time I didn't was the months I got BFP (chemicals). Hopefully some of you lot can share some good news soon though!

@2020mission aww sorry to hear that. I usually get that for a day or 2 before AF as well. I'm not due for another 8 days yet so still playing the waiting game. Just glad I've got work to keep me busy...although I'm constantly distracted with TTC etc instead of doing work!

Hi everyone! Where are we all in this cycle? I'm currently 7dpo. My left breast has had a feeling of pins and needles today and yesterday. Not all day but now and again. Trying not to get my hopes up but could this be early signs/symptoms? Is this what breast tenderness feels like?
I did my usual and googled it, but, yet again, it could be a sign of pregnancy or AF on its way. TYPICAL!

Hey fingers crossed for you @KeepSmiling89 🤞 AF arrived for me today so currently feeling sorry for myself and working through some chocolate and wine 😆 honestly that's been about 14 cycles now so I'm definitely losing hope! Hopefully some good news will be posted here soon. Keep us updated

@2020mission sorry to hear that, fingers crossed this year is your year! @KeepSmiling89 I’m the same as you, 7DPO today and felt the need to test today knowing full well it would negative! Why do we do it to ourselves? Will try and hold off now until 10DPO. If you don’t usually get that symptom, that could be promising but I feel like these new PMS symptoms spring upon us all the time just to keep us on our toes! I feel weirdly normal this month, as in last month I had horrible cramps a week before my period, but this month I don’t seem to have any... feeling like I’m counting myself out already tbh!

Same! 7dpo too, tingly boobs and tender boobs but I always get sore boobs... they’re like how I imagine men getting kicked in the balls would feel like!! 🙈

Tested today because I’ve got tons of cheap ones... BFN of course! No willpower at all 😆 x

Hi @KeepSmiling89! Everything is bloody AF or preggers, and I hate that for all of us lmao. I’m 8dpo and I was fine until today, and now it’s driving me nuts. I checked my diary and I got the symptoms I have today a day before AF in December...except I’m not due for a few more days so either it’s coming early (my temp did drop this morning) or it’s fucking with me. The only weird thing was today I had a couple of tiny spots of blood and that’s not like me. But my periods have been much lighter and kinda whacky the last few months so you never know, maybe that was warning of cd1 being nigh.

@2020mission it certainly doesn’t feel like it will happen after this long, it really sucks. Enjoy the chocolate and wine!

I thought about that for a while @Amz6219 (as you do, because my brain hates me) and it was very weird. Just two tiny specks when I went for a wee. But then the symptoms for the rest of the day reminded me so much of December that it felt like maybe AF was coming early? Either way, it’s been so bloody long trying that it feels like AF is the only likely outcome. Will see how the temp goes in the morning, because if it drops then she’s on her way

Yeah, I’m due Wednesday so this would be a 26 day cycle which is a bit short for me. I checked back through my apps the last few years and I do very occasionally have 25/26 day cycles so although it’s pretty uncommon it has happened a few times. My expectations are through the floor but my fingers are crossed too 🤞 and I will kindly accept those positive thoughts 🧡

Oh the temptation to test can just be too much to handle. I'm holding off til next Friday.
Told DH I was trying not to get my hopes up too much and he admitted that he had his hopes up a bit so fingers crossed anyway!

Also looked up the SME (sperms meets egg) plan recently so might try that next cycle if we're unsuccessful this time. Anyone else tried or planning to try this?
