CD1 (again!) - No more relaxed approach..

Hey, I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me today (or any day soon) tracking from CD1, hopefully all the way up to the BFP in 28/29/30 days time!

I know its a little unusual, we tend to only be active on here when we are waiting after ovulation, but thought it might be nice to track all the way through as a group!

Anyway, if anyone fancies it let me know!

@purplepoppet92 no crazily this will be bubba #3! I have 2 babies already who are 6 & 7 (less than a year apart 🤯), we thought after them we would never want to go back to babyhood.. but the last year or so ive been feeling the call! 👣

OH wasnt entirely convinced - our 6yo is Autistic and has other complex needs and was due an OP in May so we sort of talked about well after that we will start thinking about it. But OH has got really excited about the past few months and we were kinda not trying not preventing, and then just after christmas the op got cancelled because of Covid with no suggestion of when it might finally go ahead so this is our first cycle of "we are really doing this!"

I have no idea how we'll manage, between the kids & the dog it all feels a bit much sometimes already (especially with homeschooling now!), but as always we'll just take it one step at a time and figure it out as we go along!

Im getting on a little and dont want hugeee age gaps so i would really appreciate it if the universe just gave us this one please - i feel like we deserve it 😂

Having a 11 month old & a newborn in NICU was a blur of nappies & sleeplessness and it would be really lovely to just enjoy having one baby 😂

@Braxos oh wow, you did have your hands full when you had your two!! I don't know how you managed!
But you did manage, and you will do again! Do your two kids want another sibling? 😍

Yes weve casually mentioned a baby in the house a few times and theyve both been really excited/happy about the thought of it so thats good!

@Braxos how long did you take to fall with babies 1 and 2?

3 cycles with ds1, ds2.. not planned atall, was exclusively breastfeeding with no periods and got pregnant on our first BD after the birth 😂😂

@Braxos I'm going for #3 too! Mine are 4 and 1. I did actually conceive last year at about 6months pp but sadly miscarried. I'm going to be so anxious when/if I do get a bfp as I miscarried at 11w last time.

@purplepoppet92 ooh good luck! I hate the tww! Are you planning on early testing or waiting it out?

Yeah we are trying for our first. We conceived on our first month trying in Oct but had a MMC at 9 weeks in Dec. Really hoping it won't take us long to conceive this time around 🤞 I read that you are less likely to miscarry in the first 6 months post miscarriage, so I am fixated on conceiving ASAP!

I start testing so early, i literally cant help it 😂😩 love a good line squint, holding it up to the light & all that jazz. I admire those that wait til AF is due so much!

Sorry to hear about your losses @Ithinkhedidit and @purplepoppet92 💕 I have read MC is no more likely just because you have already had one and you are also more fertile after one, I try and think positive and hope for a sticky one this time.

If I get pregnant this time I think we will book an early scan for reassurance as well or think I would go mad waiting for 12 week one 🙈

I got positive opk yesterday and OH is back tonight after being away so hoping we’ve not left it too late to try this month?!

As far as i know @Bellesjp your 'peak' on an opk occurs the day before OV? Thats what it seems to imply on my app. Last cycle i got my peak on cd15 & the premom app says that meant I ovulated on cd16..?

Fingers crossed we start to get some good news stories on this thread soon!
I am on day 5 of my flashing faces using the clearblue opks. Have DTD on 4 out of the 5 flashing days. I suspect my static will be tomorrow if past cycles are anything to go by so we will DTD again tonight and tomorrow morning but then I won't see my other half till Thursday so im wondering if just DTD before ovulation day is going to be enough this cycle ? On every other cycle we managed to hit ovulation day and still had no joy 😬

@Bellesjp I reckon you're in with a decent chance! Sounds exactly like what happened with my first! Hopefully you'll be ovulating when your dp returns so could be perfect timing!

I'm cd13 and not expecting to ovulate til cd19/20 but have been dtd anyway JUST in case. Also stocked up on cheapie preg tests so that when I'm poas at 5dpo like an absolute loser at least I'm not wasting too much money 😂. I didn't buy any last cycle in an effort to wait for AF which meant that obviously I ended up going to the shops and grabbing FRERs at their most expensive to use (and waste!).

@Braxos yes that’s what my app is saying that i ov today, let’s hope so eh!

@Ithinkhedidit I was like that last month and ended up ordering with the shopping and getting wrong first response ones-not the early ones oops😂 I’m going to try and hold out until AF due to test but we shall see if it lasts!! So the TWW begins!

I have two FRER in my bathroom waiting 🤣 I feel like im going to be dreading testing this month, we'll see how long it lasts for, but atm I feel like I'll be avoiding testing x

I'm the same with the frer tests! Although I don't have a good feeling about this month :-( day 6 of flashing faces today but I was expecting the static as usually I have 4/5 flashing. It does say you can test more than once a day so I might try this evening. No more opportunities to DTD now till Thursday night at the earliest so I hope sperm really can live for a few days inside me 🙈🤞😂

Hi ladies could I join please? I took my last pill yesterday as it was the end of the pack. Taking them for endometriosis pain so I'm so nervous about that returning! I normally have short cycles so I'm hoping to get AF soon! I've got the clear blue ovulation tests so was thinking of waiting until AF leaves to start using them? So much to learn!

So after saying I wasn’t going to use OPKs this month I started using some I had left from last pregnancy. Been testing since day 5 (my usual time to start) and not positive yet which is odd with my cycle length. Faint line this morning on CD13, due to ovulate today according to app so no idea. Not sure if it is the sticks even though they are in date.

@Arrierttyclock Hey, I started using OPK this month for the first time as this is our 3rd month TTC and I usually followed the app and it says I would be ov just now but still not smiley faces on them 🤷🏻‍♀️ good luck

Cd13 for me and still no peak, test line has been slightly darker in the past few evenings (morning tests are paler) than earlier in the cycle but def not positive yet :(

It was worth an afternoon test 👏🏻 Fingers crossed the next stick photo is a BFP?! 🤞🤞🤞

My lh took a dip this afternoon after being a little darker last night & looking at pics of lh charts on google there does seem to be a trend of a bit of a dip before a peak. Im not due to ov for 3 days, maybe itll be sooner!
