CD1 (again!) - No more relaxed approach..

Hey, I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me today (or any day soon) tracking from CD1, hopefully all the way up to the BFP in 28/29/30 days time!

I know its a little unusual, we tend to only be active on here when we are waiting after ovulation, but thought it might be nice to track all the way through as a group!

Anyway, if anyone fancies it let me know!

Yeah I was quite surprised by apparently it goes up by 15-30% by the end of the pregnancy. I can’t remember what it was by the end of my last pregnancy but my resting heart pre pregnancy was about 62bpm.

CD4 today and things are 'finishing up', i definitely feel my periods are getting shorter as i get old!

I enter the "follicular phase" tomorrow occording to my app, not entirely sure what that involves so gonna read up to see if theres any thing i can do too.. boost?.. follicles..? 😂😂

Due to ov around CD16 apparently, so still quite a way to go! OH has started taking Wellmans. I may or may not have accidentally bought a babygrow that was on sale. Ive officially lost the plot already. Gonna be a longgg month 😂👌

CD5 for me and just the very end of my period. Due to ovulate on CD15 I think. Stocked up on lube, opks and on the folic acid etc. Please please please can this be our month!

Hi everyone I'm on cd3 after AF turned up 4 days late which is very unusual for me! Only 3rd month of TTC so hoping for a BFP soon as it's all I can think about. It's consuming my whole day!

Welcome @Aims1991. I know the all consuming feeling. Thats why im on here because if i spoke to anyone in real life about ttcing the way I do here they would think i was actually insane 😂

@Braxos Ano🤣 I'm the same! All my friends have conceived and not been trying 🤷🏻‍♀️ they don't understand it! Must be ok for they people

This is so true. My friends would think the amount of money I've spent on tests etc was ridiculous. It's okay for them. They all got pregnant on the 1/2 time after coming off contraception :-(

23rd Jan for me. Feels sooo long away 😩

I think around 23rd/24th as I'm anticipating ovulating around the 28th.
I'm already feeling "off" this cycle and feel like this month is a write-off! Super weird AF and feeling really out of sorts. I'm sure it's more to do with lockdown than my fertility, ha! I need to stop obsessing- it's only cd6 for me!

CD6 for me so I'm going to start my opks tomorrow. I've gone for the clearblue ones that do the flashing faces followed by the static smiley. My ap recons I'll start getting flashing faces on Wednesday 🤞
This is the first month I've not felt as positive about our chances which is a bit odd 🤷‍♀️ but then again with this lockdown etc etc everyone's mood is a bit more somber than usual isn't it!

@hels301990 definitely! I think alot of people are desperate for some good news/something to look forward to.

Im feeling positive. Up til now weve been more NTNP than TTCing, so ive not really thought about it toooo much. But this month im gonns be on "it" like sonic 👌👈 and catch that egg 😂

Is it weird that I'm looking forward to starting opking tomorrow because then it feels like you're doing something towards getting your BFP?!

Ha, no! I'm debating ordering more opks so I have something to do!!!

I'm waiting for the last of AF to go, Will it be pointless to start opk if there's still the smallest amount of blood when I wipe? (Sorry tmi). Like can you ovulate or have an LH surge if you're still technically bleeding even if it's the tiniest amount? This is my first month TTC so I'm clueless haha

@Seraphina1993 I'm not sure but I'd say it's not impossible. I think you can ovulate very quickly after AF if you have short cycles so you could see the surge at the tail end of bleeding. I'm no expert though!!

@Seraphina1993 instruction sheet for mine told me which day to start - I had a 27/28 day cycle so I've started today on day 7 :-)

@Seraphina1993 It depends on how long your cycles are but yes you can get your surge as you are coming to the end of your period. Blood won’t affect the test. There are calculators online that you can put your period date, how long your cycles usually are and it will tell you when to start testing.

I test from CD6 regardless of blood, i like to see the LH progression xx

Hows everyone feeling tonight? I feel like the days are dragging at the moment! Everyday feels like a week. Cd7 today.. finger taps, SMEP starts tomorrow!

Can I join? This is our second month ttc and I’m on cd15 but not ovulated yet. I bought some opks for this month and started on like cd9 but all negative so far! My cycle is around 32 days normally so assuming I’ll ovulate this week, my partner is away until Saturday typically so hoping ovulation might wait a few more days!!

I have just had my first AF 28 days since my withdrawal bleed, I never thought id br happy to get her 🙈🙈 so I am now on CD1 officially but 2nd month TTC I stupidly thought i would get caught before my period wishful thinking 🤣 heres hoping for a BFP in Feb 🤞🤞🙏🙏👶
