Officially in the tww after a temp spike yesterday morning and this morning. I’m around 2dpo today, we are onto cycle 4 of ttc baby no 1 which isn’t a long time really but feels like a lifetime. Really hoping this is my month 🤞✨

Usually I go mad googling symptoms and driving myself crazy during the whole wait only for AF to show each month so thought I’d change it up and make a wee thread for people also in the tww. We can all keep each other sane!! Feel free to join everyone is welcome!

Hey @Dex1521 I’m there too. Roughly 4dpo and af due around the 22nd. It’s my first ttw for #1 and I can see why you get obsessed, I already am! So are you talking about unrelated things on here? Are you currently working from home during lockdown?

@Grace185 hi! Glad to see someone else has joined. How exciting its your first month! All I do is google and watch YouTube videos constantly about ttc and feel like I need to stop 😂 so thought somewhere that anyone who is in the tww could talk as it’s a rough two weeks trying to wait it out as I’m a pg test addict lol. Plus we could discuss any symptoms and compare others experiences maybe but I’ve made a pact with myself no symptom spotting until after 7dpo 😂

Yeah been working from since March 2020 and it drives me mad, especially since ttc - we started in October 2020 as we thought what are we waiting for. Are you working from home?

Hi both 🙋🏻‍♀️ mind if I join? I'm 1DPO today, been on this TTC rollercoaster for 12 months now so I'm quite familiar with the TWW! Doesn't make it any easier though haha!! Glad to have others in a similar stage to reign me in at times 😂

Ooh me too please, I'm due af on 21st and the wait is keeping me crazy! Googling every tiny little thing I feel

@Dex1521 yeah the ttw working from home is hard. I’m a events manager at a charity do my work has be demolished but but a lot of virtual events on so it’s been a (fun at times but also stressful) learning curve haha!

Hi @33Carr and @stillfeelingmad! Sorry to hear it’s taken so long Carr! How do you normally keep track of your cycle? @stillfeelingmad where are you on your journey?

Ok do I have a question. I’m confused really. It’s my first try so tried tracking cm which was ewcm about cd 15 and cd17 so we dtd a lot around then (most evenings from cd14) my Clue app says I ov on cd17 from a 30day cycle. The problem is I only had one real cycle from coming off the pill (was only on it 8 months and I tried two types and both made me a terrible human). Before the pill I could get a 35 day cycle which would put ov around today. The last few days I dried right up but this morning I had more cm again?! I’m so confused!

@Grace185 I use the Femometer app which I find quite correct and also OPKs and track CM. My CM is all over the place though, some months I have loads and others I don't seem to get any discharge but when I check my cervix it's very wet. I read up that even though you might not see any, you'll probably have plenty up inside (sorry if that's TMI 😂) and that's where it needs to be!

@33Carr nah that’s great thanks. You know what I only starting sticking my finger up there a few days before I was predicted ov. I think I felt my cervix that day but can’t find it since! TMI haha

@Grace185 😂 A high cervix is good! I was a bit taken aback by the thought of checking my own and by now i often just wonder how it's doing and have a little poke! I do that rather than POAS when AF is due. Find it much easier than seeing a negative test!

@33Carr might have another poke today haha. Yeah I’m waiting until af is due and then another week to test as I could easily have a longer cycle then my app as I’ve only had one cycle since coming off the pill! At least then I’d she’s going to arrive she will and I won’t have to test!

Hi OP, I’m also cycle 4 TTC no 1. I’m now 1DPO, AF due around 25th/ 26th.

I’m also terrible for symptom spotting however the last couple of cycles I haven’t been as bad. I think I may have had a suspected chemical last month but I can’t be 100% sure (had a faint positive and then AF arrived the next day)

I plan to probably start testing (because let’s face it, I’m not going to be able to wait until AF is due ) around the 22nd which will be 10DPO.

@33Carr welcome!! So sorry it’s took so long for you but let’s hope this is your cycle 🤞 the tww is definitely a roll coaster of a journey I’ve already cried this morning looking at the amount of work I have to do 😂 which is the same as what I had yesterday

@Grace185 for me the best way to track my cycle is using the premom OPKs off of Amazon and BBT tracking. I also use Fertility friend app and premom app. I track. CM too and had some EWCM three days before ovulation and then nothing yesterday then loads this morning but I’ve definitely ovulated so for me tracking CM alone isn’t enough as I’d be the same thinking Have I ovulated or haven’t I? As you can get it before, during and after ovulation. Hope that’s what you were asking for

@SweetShopSurprise aw I’m sorry to hear about your suspected CP but here’s to this cycle being the lucky one! I was planning on testing at 10dpo too as I just can’t wait either 😂

@Grace185 Yeah it can be difficult to know what's happening when we come off hormonal contraceptives, thank fully most of the time it doesn't take too long to get back to normal!

@Dex1521 Thank you! Our time will come eventually! I'm just very impatient and always want things to happen ASAP! I have a random day off today, was hoping to enjoy some peace and quiet but the dog has other things in mind 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hello all! This is our first proper month really came off the implant end of November, had a really faint positive in December and panicked because I hadn't expected to catch so quickly, then 4 days later af and I was really gutted despite having been totally freaked out emotions all over the place. Currently day 18, clue puts my average cycle at 26 days. Thinking of testing Saturday am

Ordered some cheap pregnancy strip tests so that I can fulfil my obsessive need tk test without going bankrupt

@stillfeelingmad oh exciting but also do be careful I'm sure you already know but cheapies can be a lot less sensitive than the more expensive ones so don't lose hope if you test before AF is due and it's negative!!

I've got the early response proper ones but if I can't wait till a good day I'd rather waste a cheapy one! And if I get anything like a faint line I'll break out the clear blues hopefully I'll calm down as the months go on a bit

@stillfeelingmad I can tell you know it that you probably won't calm down as the months go on, I certainly haven't hahaha!

Morning how is everyone today! 3dpo for me and got my crosshairs on FF app! Does anyone else here track BBT?

I find it the best way to know when I've ovulated plus when my temp goes back down when AF is due it's not as painful to see as a negative test is 😂

Ooooo @Dex1521 I don't track BBT but char looks good! My waling pattern is far too varied to get accurate results

Hello, i'm new here! I am on my second cycle TTC and have just bought OPK so haven't tested yet. We've been DTD daily / every other day throughout, to try and cover all bases.
Assuming ovulation date from an app, I am 9DPO and due on 18th. I've become a bit pessimistic after being very optimistic last month, and have prepared myself for the long haul. My age is against me, and I have a relatively short cycle (25 days)...and I do too much Googling! So I am convinced we won't be able to conceive naturally. The TTW is already ruling my life!

@TTCat39 hi welcome to the wee group we have! Keep positive I know it's easy to say but it's all we can do during tww. Definitely start OPKs they're good for finding your LH surge and if you can I'd recommend BBT as it shows you're ovulating it gave me peace of mind. Do you mind me asking your age? I'm 23 but my partner is 40 (no judgement pls) we decided to start ttc as our wedding has been delayed until 2023 🙄 so thought why not start now. We are scared his age is against us but going to give it 6months before contacting the GP I'm only my 4th month of trying xx
