Officially in the tww after a temp spike yesterday morning and this morning. I’m around 2dpo today, we are onto cycle 4 of ttc baby no 1 which isn’t a long time really but feels like a lifetime. Really hoping this is my month 🤞✨

Usually I go mad googling symptoms and driving myself crazy during the whole wait only for AF to show each month so thought I’d change it up and make a wee thread for people also in the tww. We can all keep each other sane!! Feel free to join everyone is welcome!

@33Carr @Dex1521 I love the crown, we were late to the game and have been able to binge all 4 series. Have a kit 4 eps left I think and highly recommend!

I’ve heard really good things about Bridgerton on Netflix so going to try that out too. Are you all working from home? I am and have been from the start of all this. Any tips of staying motivated? I’m soooo over working from home now!! Even if it does save me a 1hr commute each way!

Hi girls. Also in my TWW, think I am 2dpo after temp spikes, but waiting for crosshairs on FF. Hopefully we get some BFPs this moth. How long has everyone been TTC?

@Grace185 oh yeah I've heard good things about bridgerton too it's on my list to watch. Yeah I have and it's so boring before Christmas I was literally logging on at 10am and finishing around 3pm 😂 I'm an accountant though and this is our busy season between now and April so I'll have stuff to keep me distracted and working 9-5 again 😂 I used to commute up the A1 Darlington to Newcastle daily so glad I've not done that in nearly a year though haha in rush hour can take 1.5hrs other times it can take 45mins it's so unpredictable

@Nellieee I'm 3dpo today and got my cross hairs today too feel so relieved when I get them. I've been trying for four months for baby #1 no luck yet. Got a BFP last month but was only a squinter and when AF showed I presumed it was a false positive unfortunately, luckily hadn't told OH as he can never see the lines on OPKs half the time 😂 I've attached my chart as I'm somewhat proud of it. It's totally different to any other cycle these past couple of months so hoping that's a good sign as month 1-3 they were all nearly identical

@Dex1521 @Grace185 Thanks for the suggestions! We've just started the crown, think we are 6 episodes or so into S1 so very late to the party haha! Good shout with his dark materials though, forgot S2 was available now! I never watched Greys when I was on TV either so I should give that a go at some point too!
Let me know if you watch Bridgerton, I can't decide if it looks too cheesy or not haha!

I work within the NHS so still going in everyday but partner has been working from home since March. He really struggled to begin with as he's SUCH a social butterfly (I'm quite the home bird) but he goes out for a walk everyday and says that helps a lot. He makes sure he has a proper lunch so will spend it away from the office to give himself a little head space before getting back into it.

@Nellieee Hia! I'm also 2DPO! When is AF due for you? We've been TTC for 13 months now but had a break in the middle due to a MMC and clashes later on this year!

@Dex1521 yeah I don’t miss the commute. I’m an events manager for a hospice so although there’s a lot to do none of it’s urgent as events are being pushed back still so the motivation of doing things that need doing by the end of feb is not high at the moment!!

@Nellieee hi! Is this the first for you or do you have kids? I’m 6-8dpo at the moment but not sure when af is due so waiting until the end of the month!

Hi @33Carr I'm so sorry about your MMC. That must have been really horrible for you.

I think I am due on 25/26 Jan. I have quite short cycles. Still feels like ages away and I constantly feel like in wishing my life away!! What about you?

End of the month?! That's ages!! You've got some serious willpower! Have you recently come off the pill, or just have irregular cycles?

I also have short cycles so due on the 25th too! Im going to test on either the 23rd/24th though as I don't want to go into work on the Monday morning either feeling sorry for myself or giddy!!

Thank you Dex . I just don't want to get my hopes up too soon. My ds (4yo) was conceived using IUI, we were lucky on the first try after 2 years of trying on our own. My next 2 losses, I fell pregnant first try but the problems arose after.

Probably only about 6dpo according to clue but symptom spotting like crazy mild cramps and bloated to high heaven tonight

@Nellieee I haven’t had the willpower yet haha. I think I’ll cave before or af arrives. Just want to give it a chance as I think the poas and the three minute wait to be met with a bfn will be hard so I’d rather wait for af tbh! But might give in!

Only had one cycle off the pill which was 30d but used to have longer ones.

@33Carr I did think that about the weekend too! We'll be testing around the same time then!! This is only my second cycle off the pill, but last month my temp shot up day before AF so I got my hopes up, then spotting started the following day. Grr.

@Grace185 would you be almost a week and a half late by the end of the month?! Well if AF hasn't shown by then, you'll be looking great!

@Dex1521 sorry Dex! I totally missed your message 🙈 great looking chart to be fair. Nice temp shift. It's great when the crosshairs show isn't it. We'll all be testing around similar times 🍀🤞

I keep doing manual overrides today to second guess testing dates etc. Fingers crossed, should get them tomorrow. I was thrown off earlier in the month at CD 12 when I got crosshairs due to three very small (and random) temp increases. Sulked all of Sunday and google self diagnosed early onset menopause. Luckily I had done a line OPK the night before that was high but not peak. Did a CB dual hormone OPK Sunday night and it was peak! Thank god. So crosshairs vamooshed. It's such a big learning curve isn't it?!

@Nellieee honestly it's so strange. So took my temp this morning and it's still going up but FF has changed my ovulation from CD14 to Cd15 putting everything back a day. Kind of annoying as this is my second day at 3dpo. Weird that the app would push it back a day must of been that stronger OPK was right in the end but having the temp rise on CD15 lead me to believe I ovulated at CD14. Had this ever happened to anyone else?

@Nellieee yeah I’ll be either 1 1/2 weeks or 1/2 a week late. I’m hoping that it will give a definite answer. I think I’d rather af come than see a negative but I might give in the weekend before! We’ll see :)

Ooh that is weird, but looking at your chart, I'd say it looks correct now. There's usually a slight dip the day before your peak/O.

Not quite the same, but I got crosshairs on CD12, then they disappeared after other signs were entered on FF (inc peak OPK). Disappeared altogether and then reappeared this morning thank god after another temp rise. I'd stick with the readjusted dpo for tracking.

@Grace185 ah I totally get what you mean. I thought I was onto a winner with another temp rise the day before af. Was only on the day when it dropped. Grr. Fingers crossed!!

question for you all, does anyone have any symptoms!? I have literally nothing, never felt so damn normal. But only 6/7 dpo so maybe I wouldn't!? First time ttc so no previous experience on this!

@Nellieee yeah at least it's only a day out. I'm gonna hold off until 10dpo to test so that'll now be 11dpo seeing as I'm repeating 3dpo 😂

@coffee1988 my boobs are a bit sore like my nipples to touch but again don't know if I'm imagining it as I'm only 3/4dpo

@coffee1988 I had back pain which I thought meant something, but I actually think it was from DTD so often as now that has fizzled out it’s gone away. I’ve had a few really mild cramps but nothing out of the ordinary. I’m only 5DPO.

@Dex1521 good idea! Think that's the Saturday? I think I have two frer tests, and possibly two cheapie own brands from boots. I've heard the boots ones aren't great though.

@coffee1988 I think any symptoms you have early on (ie before implantation around 7dpo five or take) would be due to higher levels of progesterone in the body. The reality is, many mimic early pregnancy symptoms. Some people say they had zero symptoms when they got pregnant though. Everyone is different!! I've had sore boobs/nips since O.

@Nellieee I'm going to test on the 20th which is next Wednesday that's 10dpo for me, AF due the 24th. Also after some googling I've settled that I am 4dpo and I think my rogue temp on CD11 threw FF off track as my temp dipped and spiked like it should've which would put me at 4dpo

Anyone else working from home and just can't be bothered today 😂 there's about 3inches of snow here and still falling it it's making me tired for some reason 😂

Hello everyone are there any bbt experts here? It’s the first month I have charted so I’m not sure if mine looks promising. I’m assuming I ovulated between sun-mon? But we only dtd on the wed so chances are unlikely. Getting so disheartened with bfn every month.
