Officially in the tww after a temp spike yesterday morning and this morning. I’m around 2dpo today, we are onto cycle 4 of ttc baby no 1 which isn’t a long time really but feels like a lifetime. Really hoping this is my month 🤞✨

Usually I go mad googling symptoms and driving myself crazy during the whole wait only for AF to show each month so thought I’d change it up and make a wee thread for people also in the tww. We can all keep each other sane!! Feel free to join everyone is welcome!

Hey ladies can I please join? I am very similar to some of you, cycle #4 TTC baby no #1, came off the pill in sept. Have had regular cycles 28/29 days but don't know if I'm actually ovulating because highest I've had on an opk according to Premom is 0.56 which is low and it doesn't look darker than control line. If that was a peak I'm about 7/8dpo. AF due next thurs 21st. Already convinced I'm out though and no chance and probably not even ov-ing. Got rejected from a new job today after 2 interviews for them and just feeling really miserable. Lying in bed crying in my dressing gown feeling sorry for myself 😟

I'm 4DPO today which I think puts me as ovulation buddies with @ree348 and @Nellieee
No symptoms so far, but wouldn't expect any really this early right?
Excited as this is my first proper TWW - had nearly a three month cycle after coming off the pill so this is my first cycle after first AF off pill

@strangerontheinternet oh so sorry to hear you're feeling so rubbish. Job interviews are so tough! It's a horrible feeling being rejected, but I'm sure something else will come along. Hope you're okay

So sorry @TTCat39!! It's so deflating. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves I think.

@strangerontheinternet hello! Really sorry to hear about your job. Can't help with how you're feeling. I'd have a go at temping if I were you. You can then confirm date of ovulation by temp rises. You need a digital thermometer with two decimal places.

@abi555 hello again cycle sister!! 😂 also very little to report from me. Temps still high...🤞 it's so hard not to symptom spot every niggle!

Thanks girls. Yeah I think temping is the only answer, although I wanted to avoid if possible just as I feel it's something else to obsess/stress over and I worry I'm making it all worse for myself. Gutted about the job as I really thought I had a good chance then when I was thinking I've maybe got it I then felt guilty as I was like oh but I really want to keep TTC and I'd have to give that up a bit to settle into new job, so I felt guilty because I wanted a BFP so bad snd I felt like I then put the job first so now I feel like I don't even deserve a BFP as I nearly gave up on it for a job. If any of that makes sense sorry for rambling. I now feel horrendous guilt cause I don't even care about the stupid job if I can just get my BFP soon and have a gorgeous little baby in my arms.

Hi @strangerontheinternet we’re on a similar time frame. Think I’m 8dpo today. You mustn’t feel guilty at all! Fingers crossed we all have some luck this month x

Tomorrow is 5 days from my period so tempted to do a clear blue early test. Feel like I've been nauseous all week, swollen gums and generally feeling weird. But definitely could all be in my head

Hi everyone. I've had a very crampy night and now as well. Feels like upset tummy too. I'm 6dpo. No sore boobs though. How is everyone doing.

Cracked and did ultra early test, I really thought I would see something but even though I'm only 5 days off being due af it's stark white so guessing this isn't our month only first proper one of trying though so not the end of the world, I just seemed to have a lot of symptoms!
I know it's not definite until af arrives but really thought there would be a hint of a line of anything was happening

Hi All, just joined mumsnet today. I’m on month 2 of ttc and 11 dpo. Doesn’t the TTW just feel like forever. 😱 I’ve been driving myself insane checking every little symptom I’ve had on google. Think I need to try and relax and be patient but it’s not in my nature :(

Sorry to be tmi but does a bit of rectal pressure feel normal. Like heaviness rather than actually wanting to go to the loo.

@AnyTimeSoon we are cycle twins! Did you say when you're gonna test I can't remember. I'm gonna test Wednesday or Friday (10 or 12DPO). I have 0 symptoms whatsoever this cycle don't know if that's good or bad only thing is I have a really blocked nose which happens every tww for me.

Yesterday I had a big dip in temp then today it went back up so don't know what could've caused that. Doubt Implantation as too early for that.

@stillfeelingmad I'm not sure if I can see anything or not. I prefer pink dye as they're less likely to run. Maybe test again in 2 days. It allows HCG to increase and use an FRER if you have any. I know Superdrug had them on offer just before Christmas £8 instead of £11 I think.

Hi Dex ! this symptom thing is so tricky. I'm thinking Wed. But will see how I feel by then.
Just been reading up sooo much on symptoms and every person is so different. Guess we will just have to keep going.

@stillfeelingmad Hi! When you test this early it's better to do with a first response as they are more sensitive and can be used 5 odd days before your expected period date. Good luck!

Thanks all, going to forget about this weekend and maybe pick up another test next week, trying to wait now till af actually due, I'm driving myself daft with it, just a bit keen as it's first month lol

@stillfeelingmad if you think you're driving yourself mad, I did a test today at 3dpo 😂😂 I've now asked DP to hide the tests. I need protection from myself!

@stillfeelingmad I actually sat there after laughing at myself. What was I expecting 😂😂😂it's only my first month and to be honest all I want now is a big gin and tonic, so if it's not my month this month at least I've that to look forward to in 11 days or so!

Just caved and tested (9dpo) and not even a hint of a line! I’ll give it another go, probably tomorrow and the next day but not feeling hopeful at all this month :-(

Ok ok, i know I'm losing it a bit, in my defence lockdown is getting in my head and I've been wfh foreeeeeever!!

I put a filter on it and now I sort of think I can see a line anyone else or have I totally lost the plot here

@stillfeelingmad I think I see something but not 100% sure sorry. It looks like the dye has run at the bottom on the test so it could be an evap line. Sorry to be such a Debbie downer if you can wait deffo wait a few days and retest it should deffo be stronger then

That's ok @Dex1521 honestly I'm not particularly hopeful, it's our first month of trying and we're only 30 so it's totally fine, I've got some more coming Tuesday on a boots order so can try then and should have a clearer answer
