@RobinRose That's useful to know, thank you. By the time he gets his second SA he will have been on them about 8 months so hopefully gives room for improvement!

@narwhal88 I'm sorry to hear about your news 😟. Hopefully it won't affect your chances of IVF working. Wishing you all the luck for when you speak to the clinic about it.

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker We weren't specifically told on frequency but we do every other day anyway (and we'd told the GP that). In the earlier days we did every day for 3-4 days around my peak but it just wasn't sustainable long term with my husband working shifts (and wasn't working!). Not heard of Fertility Circle app, I'll check it out tomorrow!
I'm also at ovulation (got my peak OPK today), talk about not feeling it this month 🙄 but I'll be damned if I'm missing a chance even with our next to nothing morphology!

@notyetamumbuttrying appointment was fine, but the catheter trial was quite painful, worse than the hycosy but the dr said the real embryo transfer wouldn't be as bad as they wouldn't be putting the catheter in as far. We have our nurse planning appointment on the 26th to explain all the drugs and how to administer them. I've decided I'm going to ask for some unpaid leave at work as my job is extremely stressful and I just want to give myself the best chance. I'm thinking of taking from a few days before egg collection until I'm due to do the pregnancy test. It might be a bit excessive but I could really do with the break!

@Annny27 Just reading through the thread, do you mind saying which B12 supplements you use? Am also TTC, and struggle to keep my B12 levels up.

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker if his SA was low in all areas then he can get the urologist referral. Yeah it can go either way for me at ov. I usually feel annoyed as I get pain. I tend to feel my best a couple of days before ov.

@Motherofkittens28 sounds like a sensible idea if you have a stressful job. Think I'll be doing the same when it comes to it as my job is stressful too. I'll prob do from egg collection to transfer off and work the tww but we'll see.

Have any of you lovely ladies been prescribed clomid? We’ve had all the tests and scans through the hospital which all came back fine other than my thyroid is slightly under active at 5.5. I am now meant to start clomid from tomorrow as AF showed up this morning.

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker My LP is usually 11 days so I'm due on 29th as well
Sometimes it's 10 so could even be 28th. The good thing with that is I rarely get far enough to need to do a pregnancy test!

I get ovulation pains too - never realised until we started TTC and I started payin attention. I just used to think it was random stomach ache 😂. Never knew testosterone peaked though!

Anyone had weird dreams since starting TTC? Last night I dreamed I was pregnant which made me a tad sad when waking. My second dream was a doozy though. Was pregnant but DH had also impregnated another woman. Obviously had an effect on me as I woke up in a foul mood and told off DH for dream cheating 😂😂 i find it fascinating how dreams can affect your mood-Was obviously in a strange mindset last night to be dreaming like that. I swear dreams are more vivid and relate able (not just random) since we starting trying. They're generally all pregnancy and relationship related.

Afternoon all! How’s everyone doing?
I’m 4dpo and currently still in my ‘feeling hopeful & optimistic’ phase of the month! 😊 This usually disappears by about 8dpo so I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts! 😂

Hubbys SA is on Tuesday, does anyone know roughly how long it will take for SA results to come through? Is it a few days or weeks? Just trying to gauge how long to wait before I start hassling the GP surgery! Our private one was super speedy, but I’m imagining nhs will take longer.

@crazycatlady1981 should be no longer than two weeks although ours took 3 due to the gp leaving and no one bothering to follow up! So I'd chase after two weeks. Good luck! How was his last one? I'm cd5 so coming to the end of the worst period of my life thank god! We're almost in sync @Theawkwardblonde! Ha I love telling Dh off when he dream cheats on me 😂 glad I'm not the only one lol! I used to dream a lot about pregnancy before I knew we had male factor issues, now I don't so much. I guess it's cos I know it won't happen naturally perhaps, who knows.

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm cd4! How odd we are nearly cycle buddies! Honestly I've been in a foul mood all day because of it 😂 gets me very riled up the dream cheating!
I'm guessing it's from Bridgerton? I've tried watching it, kind of stuck on episode 3 as I'm not particularly hooked yet.

Yeah that's right. Stick with it, it gets better after ep3 and you're used to it. It does come good so keep going and then we can debrief 😉

@notyetamumbuttrying ooog bridgerton! Not gonna lie, a few of the later episodes helped with libido during fertile week 🤣🤣🤣

Cd1 now (or nearly cd1 as not full flow started!) But af definitely here 🙄🙄🙄

@causingchaos2 I just used the seven seas trying for a baby tablets which were enough to boost my levels but mine weren't super low so not sure how good they are!

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker yeah we have sex every other day in fertile period as if you have a low count then every day will decrease it too much. I know what you mean though, especially on ovulation day I feel like we are wasting it!

@Theawkwardblonde I've only had one pregnancy dream since ttc and it was so awful to wake up and realise it wasn't reality. I have had a few dreams when my husband has left me and woke up really angry with him 😂

@Narwhal88 just saw your updated sorry it wasn't good news :( do they recommend anything or perhaps you could do accupuncture or reflexology to get blood flow to the area (even if doing it just puts your mind at ease that you are doing something if that makes sense) xxx

@Annny27 I'm not sure it has anything to do with blood flow. I don't think there's anything that can help really. Though I do want to give acupuncture a go anyway, once we get some IVF dates I'm going to see if I can get an appt. Even if it just helps me relax a bit, I'm very stressed currently (mainly due to work though)!

The last SA was ok I think for his age. Count was about 60 mill p/ml, 44% motility and 4.1% morphology. He has been taking supplements for about 6-7 months prior to the first analysis and is very active, non smoker, doesn’t drink much etc so his side of things is looking fairly positive! He’s just cut down on caffeine this month, to try and help improve things even more, but to be honest I think theres more likely an issue with me than him!

@crazycatlady1981 well hopefully it is. You could try after a week anyway as they analyse it there and then. No idea why they make you wait so bloody long for it! Bastards 😂 wow those are good numbers! What do you think might be wrong with you then? You had all tests done?

@notyetamumbuttrying I’ve had blood tests and scan done so far and that’s all been fine. Not yet had a hsg so that would be next I guess and may give us some answers! All the waiting around for these tests to happen is so tedious though!!

@narwhal88 yeah I am tempted with accupuncture tbh just to relax me. Although I am unsure if being stabbed by needles will be relaxing 😂😂

@notyetamumbuttrying well I thought I was cd1 but nothing came of it yesterday so probably start properly today - boobs have shrunk so deffo not pregnant just period taking its time haha!

Think mine was 2% morphology, 13 mil per ml and like 40% motility

@crazycatlady1981 there might not be anything wrong as well remember. Some couples do just take longer. Have you asked to get a hsg done yet?
@Annny27 ah that's annoying! Could be worth a test if you're not on tomorrow though 🤞🏾those sperm results are better than my DH's! His was 5ml p/ml count, 14% motility and 2.3% morphology so defo ivf for us unless they've actually improved now. Find out next month!!
