@kerrym87 ii don't think you can have a hysosyt's as it's not just harmful to the fetus- it can cause an ectopic pregnancy if you are pregnant as the fluid can push the embryo into the tubes.

When is your hycosy?

Hi girls will do a catch up in a bit I've just had some bad news I've got to have surgery on my back as I've got two prolapsed discs and the recovery will be 12 weeks 😫 our plans for starting ivf will have to be put on ice for now until I'm sorted I'm gutted but I need to sort out this chronic sciatica as it's getting me down. I'd love to stay on the thread though when a new bus is started please xxx

Ladies, not ever really tracked ovulation in the past that much, and just wondered if I got my static smiley this morn do I count ovulation as today? So tomorrow I'd be 1dpo?

@Hayley19835 sorry to hear you have to have an op but at least you won't have the back pain once you do get your bfp!

@Crazydoglady123 are you using an app? It usually tells you what it's decided is day 1dpo but I think it's another one of those it's probably this day kind of things as I know you can ovulate up to 48 hours after you get your peak

@Crazydoglady123 ooh sounds interesting. Pieces of a woman, is it Netflix? Ovulation is tomorrow if you got your static today.

@Hayley19835 so sorry my love, you're right though and your health comes first! You need to be healthy in order to have a healthy pregnancy so it makes sense. Hope all goes well and of course I'll add you to a new bus! Will make one when it closer to the 990s and post the new link.

Thank you ladies. I was absolutely heart broken after getting the call from the specialist today but after chatting it through will OH it makes sense to have the op and then once recovered go back to trying again or IVF. I take so many drugs at the minute I'd be scared if I got pregnant what might actually happen! I'm not over the hill just yet so hopefully surgery date will be soon and I'm on the road to recovery xx

@Motherofkittens28 ah ok I see, that is shit about being on the highest dose already, though just because you haven't responded well this time doesn't mean you won't next time or with different drugs. It's great you have 6 frozen eggs though as back up so you have a plan b.

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm good thanks. My medication arrived today and we had our nurse consultation. Nurse was lovely and went through the whole process in detail. She did say that we should think of the first round as a tester to see how I respond etc rather than thinking this is it and had to go through everything that could go wrong. Do you think you will still go private? Just as a heads up you may still not be able to start on your next period even if private - they sometimes still have to do further tests or they may have no appointments around the time of your cycle, just worth bearing in mind. Hopefully you can though and we can be ivf buddies! I had my ivf consultation in December and the go ahead to start Feb but couldn't start on my Feb period.

@Hayley19835 sorry to hear about your surgery but much better to get it sorted now, 3 months shouldn't make a difference in the grand scheme of things, hope it goes smoothly for you.

Thanks @Marvellouslymadmum @notyetamumbuttrying I'm using the Clear Blue Connected Tests/App alongside Femometer. I should be able to see on my scan tomorrow if I've ovulated or not 🤞

@notyetamumbuttrying @Crazydoglady123 I started to watch Pieces of a Woman but haven't managed to finish it, it was too sad. I had to pause it at one point as I was crying so much. The first 30 mins is so raw and just awful but very well acted.

@Narwhal88 good to hear it's getting started and thank you for the heads up. It's good to prepare myself for April instead. I think I should do then anyway as I should lose some weight really. We'll go private if his SA is still bad. Will find out mid March most likely. He goes in Thursday morning.

@Crazydoglady123 cool that you get to see on the monitor! I always know I'm the next day as I get ov pain.

I'm too scared to watch it 🙈 will have to wait until I'm feeling more emotionally stable...so never 🤪

@PeanutButterBrownies good to hear! I’ve only made cheese a few times, but I’m desperate to make halloumi so I will definitely have a go!

So af hasn’t arrived yet (due yesterday) and my ovusense temperatures have levelled off! I usually get temp drops from cd21 onwards and big drop on the day af starts! 🤔 Been having period like cramps since cd21 and my usual spotting around cd24 for a few days so assumed I was out this month, but spotting has stopped now!
I did a one step cheapie yesterday and it was the whitest white I’ve ever seen 🤷🏻‍♀️
Still in bed at the moment and holding in my FMU as I’m putting off testing again because my stupid body has given me the tiniest slither of hope again and I’m too scared to see another white strip!! 😕
Got some FRERs as well as cheapies so hopefully that will give me some answers! Will keep you all posted if I ever get out of bed....

Hi everyone 🙋🏻‍♀️.
New here! I’m hoping to have my second baby after a 10 year gap (new partner). Things seeming a lot more difficult this time 🙁. I did opk sticks for ages and gave a regular cycle but no luck. Tried pre-seed (gave me BV!) ... had a break from ‘trying’... this time I’ve started temping, ordered myself a fertil-lily thing and some wellman conception vitamins for DP. Hoping so much this makes a diff! Good luck to all of you!

@SlothMamaToBe hey welcome! Defo get DP on supplements ASAP. They take 3 months to take affect. If there is an issue it could lie with him so may be worth a gp call now so that you can get a semen analysis done. Even tho you have a child they'll still do the initial tests if it's been a year. Bloods and scan for you and SA for him. Good luck!

Thank you! Yep plan is to call GP this week or next. He also has a child who is 10 but I suppose we are both older now and probably not in best health compared to first time round. We do desperately want this baby together as feel it will bring our family together .

@crazycatlady1981 oooowwww sounds promising! Do you have a heart rate watch? Since coming on here and reading people's correlations between HR and early pregnancy I think I'm going to do watch mine and only test this month if I see an increase in my HR. Let us know how you get on if you test!

@SlothMamaToBe welcome! Secondary infertility is a bitch! So frustrating when you know your body and can do it so why isn't it now 🤷🏽‍♀️ Deffo push the GP to investigate. So far in my area I've had a Hycosy and Clomid & Letrozole for my secondary.

So I finally got up and peed on frer and a one step and they were both brilliantly white! 😭 I’m so mad at my body right now! I’d completely mentally moved on from this cycle and now I’m stuck in it! Seeing my acupuncturist this morning so hopefully she’ll sort me out and have some words of wisdom! I’m sure af will arrive with a bang tomorrow morning!

@Crazydoglady123 ooh forgot to say, yep I wear a Fitbit so I keep any eye on my resting heart rate! It’s been pretty consistently 57/58 bmp for the last few weeks so no excitement there either! ☹️

@crazycatlady1981 sorry to hear that lovely. Our bodies love to mess with our heads, don't they? I hate to be the one that says it but it is true, you're not out until AF arrives. Acupuncturists are under rated I feel, mine is so lovely to talk to, like therapy! I got myself in such a tizz last month testing I just want to go my HR and then if that looks promising test, if not just wait for AF. POAS doesn't do me well mentally

Morning all, on the way to the clinic for another scan, keep your fingers crossed for me that they have kept growing and hopefully follicle 3 has caught up.
@Crazydoglady123 as its just eggs I have frozen and you need ICSI with frozen eggs as the shells are tough i imagine they will thaw them all and try to fertilise and see what happens, so in effect its one shot for that. If multiple fertilise and get to blastocyst stage then they would freeze the extras and that might give me several cycles.
