Yippee Yippee

That's right - another Graduate! Clear as a bell. Due date 4 July!

I think that we finally just got the quantity of lovin' right - 3 times in 4 days right on ovulation!

I'm off to Start a due in July thread!

Good Luck to everyone here - I hope you will be joining in soon. Thanks for your support and interest. I will keep popping in to see how you are all getting along.

Perhaps it was getting a referral and appointment with a fertility specialist that tipped the balance.

Tania2 · 27/10/2004 03:58

WOW this thread is lucky it must be the babydust from Down Under!!!
CONGRATULATIONS AUSSIESIM
Just when i thought i had someone in my timeframe to chat too.

My first appoint with him will be on the 23rd of Nov just after my next af has arrived and then the op will be after the next af so fingers crossed i dont get af b4 i have to see him.

Thanks Tania 2, I fell the first time a couple of months after having the laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. I had been ttc for 18mths before that with no luck and no identifiable problem, so I would highly recommend the op. My Dr said that there is no medical reason why it should help but that anecdotally it seemed to. Good Luck. Where are you in Oz?

jeddah · 27/10/2004 07:22

aussiesim well done I am so chuffed for you

Tania2 hiya!....just off for my shower then to work....07.20am here!

it will be our turn soon!

me....cd6!

Tania2 · 27/10/2004 07:46

AussieSim iam in Melbourne. I have heard that people fall pg easily after the op i suppose its a good clean out thats why i asked for it to be done 8 mths ago!! God i hope it works or even better still that i dont need it cause i fall pg b4 then. that would be nice.
Good morning Jeddah. me CD 6 too but only for another 7 hrs. It would be nice if we fell pg this month we would be due on the same day!!!

sweetheart · 27/10/2004 08:32

aussie - CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! You must be thrilled!!!!!

Jeddah, my stats as you requested them so nicely

Had been ttc No 2 for 9 months
This was my 1st month using the OPK's from Medisave - used one everyday instead of just when I thought I needed to.
Ov'd around cd17/18
Bd as much as possible from the 1st day I got a positive on the OPK to about 2 days after Eg cd 17,18,19 and 20.
Tested on cd30 and got a BFN - tested on cd34 (12dpo) and got my BFP

I hope this helps. I've used OPK's before but only on or around the days I thought I was oving - this time I used one every day and YES!!!!!!!!! I did sit with a pillow under my bum for 20mins everytime - It was like a religion!!!!!!!!!

sweetheart · 27/10/2004 08:36

Tania2, I'm so sorry your feeling glum. I know you had high hopes for this month.

If it helps, I still have a really good feeling about you and I'm sure it won't be long until you get a BFP!!!!

And I know this is stupid but I'm really honoured that you called me your friend

Keep smiling my lovely!!!!!

runtus · 27/10/2004 09:00

Morning all and afternoon Tania (I think!)......Huge congrats to our other Aussie poster, fab news! Looks like this thread is going to be a bumper harvest!

sweetheart · 27/10/2004 09:18

Does anyone know the answer to this.....????

Does Clomid contain hCG or LH hormones and can a person taking clomid use OPK's????

velcrobott · 27/10/2004 09:20

I knew it Aussie mum ... well done !

Jeddah - my CAT has been denied.... apparantly you don't accept them? No worries

I don't know why but I took a preg test this AM (maybe tio be sure I am not preg as I haven't had AF in weeks now) and as expected it was a BFN.... however I plan to test again in 10 days as I have done some BD when I was OV according to kit.... so we'll see !

homemummy · 27/10/2004 09:35

Can I join too? I need some luck this month.

I have a dd 23 months.
I have been ttc #2 for 10 months
I had 2 miscarriages this year - Feb (@ 8weeks) and June (@ 11 weeks)
I feel like my hormones are only JUST getting back to normal now

I really hope this is my month. I'm trying not to stress so much about ttc this month but like you can really stop yourself. I still ordered OPKs for this month and I'm sure I'll be using two a day and stressing 'have I O'd yet?' 'Do I have to have sex again?'

Anyway, I'm on cycle day 10. Good luck to everyone.

runtus · 27/10/2004 09:45

Welcome Homemummy!

MommyD · 27/10/2004 10:05

Welcome homemummy
I am on cd9 and ttc#3 and on cycle #2 of trying. I have surprised myself how quickly I have become immersed in ttc.... I thought I would be really laid back about it, especially being on #3. But oh no! When you decide you want a baby, you want one NOW NOW NOW NOW - I DON'T WANT TO WAIT!! ...
Good luck... when do you normally ov?

Azure · 27/10/2004 10:05

Aussiesim, many congratulations .

velcrobott · 27/10/2004 10:11

Tania2 · 27/10/2004 10:16

Sweetheart of course i would call you my friend all of you guys are i really would have been lost without you guys over the past 11 months this is a really hard thing ttc and we need all the support and understanding we can get, and sometimes in R/L our friends just dont understand and really lets face it ttc takes over your world and all you can think and talk about is getting pg and the only people that want to listen to us talk about it is us on here. so a BIG THANKS from me to you all.....
Velcrobott fingers crossed for 10 days time.

Nikkichik · 27/10/2004 10:18

Hi all
Please can I join this thread as we need some luck. Have a dd of 32 months and have been ttc for No.2 for 6 months! Am 38 and have just been told by Doc that I'm suffering from IBS and having an attack now - not very nice (as dd would say!) Wonder if it's affecting me as have been using ovualtion tests and am pretty sure the timing is right! Getting a bit depressed about it - all dd's friends now have baby siblings and my sister in law has just produced too - i want one and I want it now!!!!!! Silly I know cos i guess 6 months is nothing.
Good luck to us all!
sad

velcrobott · 27/10/2004 10:20

What's IBS?

Nikkichik · 27/10/2004 10:27

Irritible Bowel Syndrome. Not life threatening by any means and quite common apparently but very annyoing and uncomfortable. symptoms include, stomach cramps, nausea, bloating, wind (!!!) general discomfort in the tummy area. Something to do with digestion! Have been given drugs but don't want to take them as ttc!

hester · 27/10/2004 10:41

AussieSim!!!!! HUGE congratulations our third graduate (in just three days!).

Welcome homemummy and Nikkichik, it's great to have you on here. Poor you with the IBS, Nikkichik; that's nasty stuff
