I'm more worried about the amount of beer my OH has consumed....all I can think is "what are u doing to those swimmers, I need them"!! Lol!!

Trying not to be a completley crazy bitch tho 🤣

elsimo · 29/12/2020 10:17

@bez91 yeah this was us with our first, came off pill got pregnat straight away, had a mc then i'm not even sure how my DD happened tbh, went to Cyprus and both drunk ourselves stupid for a week....came home pregnant 🤷‍♀️

This time round.....18 months or trying with nothing then conceive twins and MC., it's mental!!

elsimo · 29/12/2020 10:18

Thanks @PumpkinEverything. Sorry for the slow reply, I found christmas quite difficult as we had planned to tell the kids on Christmas Day and it was the first time I’ve seen my sister in law since she’s been showing and she’s due next month which was pretty hard 🥺.

I have another question please ! So my peak according to Premom app suggests I ovulated Christmas Eve so I’m currently 5dpo (hopefully !) and I’ve just gone to the loo and when I wiped there was quite a bit of yellow coloured ewcm..anyone know what this could be ? Could it be that I didn’t actually ovulate then and I’m gearing up for it again ? Any advice greatly appreciated !! Hope everyone had a good rest from everything over Christmas ! Xx

PumpkinEverything · 29/12/2020 11:50

Goodness sake @TheDaydreamBelievers I was hoping you’d have got your negative this week 😩 is this the same sort of faint line you’d got the other weeks or is it any fainter?
Have just done my 3 week test this morning and still a faint, but definitely there line for me. I had tested at the weekend though and it was fainter than last weeks one, so I’m actually going to give it a few days and then ring them if it’s still positive as I feel like my levels have only really started dropping this week.

@bez91 I most definitely have put on weight too. I put on 4/5lb during my pregnancy and then I’ve put 2lb on within the last few days, and will probably continue to put on more this week 😂🙈 have signed up to hello fresh for next week and got the new pinch of nom book coming tomorrow for some inspo!

bez91 · 29/12/2020 12:21

@TheDaydreamBelievers I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to give the hospital a call and tell them. They were really good with me.

@PumpkinEverything I think a lot of it was water retention from the pregnancies but wouldn't go amiss to be a bit more toned 🙈

lillg · 29/12/2020 12:43

@Richmondlady1981 accupuncture is brilliant. TTC for 4 years and accupuncture sorted it for me in 6 weeks! The thing I liked most though is I felt someone actually took time to understand me and do something positive. Always been fobbed off by GP (won't do infertility tests as had 2 miscarriages and won't investigate the miscarriages until I've had 3).

My miscarriage on Xmas Eve was not at my normal hospital, they were fantastic. But I've spoken to my GP again now and feel like a complete wreck again. They said I shouldn't try again until the postmortem is done and that takes 12 weeks and that my midwife will call at some point in the next 2 weeks (nice timely care there!). Can anyone recommend what I should be asking the doctors, what tests they can do or who I can be referred to to actually get some answers or at lease support?

fingerscrossed1985 · 29/12/2020 12:56

@lillg I signed paperwork for tests to be carried out after my ERPC in August and never got the results! When I called to ask about it the GP couldn't find any information - but did find info saying I'd had 2 vaginal births which Is clearly not the case!!Hmm How often were you having the acupuncture?xx

lillg · 29/12/2020 13:14

@fingerscrossed1985 that's awful. I'm sorry you went through that. That's what I'm worried about, and rightly so it sounds!

I was having it every 2 weeks and then every 3-4 during the pregnancy (miscarried at 20 weeks). I was also taking Chinese herbs. I was sceptical at first but I'm a huge fan now. Would fully recommend as long as it's affordable for you (costs me £300 for 6 sessions).

The original purpose was to reduce my fibroids as modern medicine couldn't/wouldn't help and my periods were so painful I needed to do something (it turns out period pains for me are very similar in terms of pain to labour pains!)

Hi ladies, I was on the November thread a little. Sorry I haven’t been keeping up but I was wondering if I could borrow your eyes ? I’m not due AF until 3rd Jan but took an early detection test just now. Can anyone see a line ? I think there’s a very faint one ? Going to try again on the morning to hopefully clear things up. Really hoping this is it. It’s my 2nd cycle after early MC

Yes @NatNoo96 definitely a line! Congrats!

Hanbanxx · 29/12/2020 17:20

@NatNoo96 it's definitely there! Congratulations 💞

lillg · 29/12/2020 17:22

@NatNoo96 looks like a line to me. Especially if that wasn't from first thing in the morning and you've tested so early. Fingers crossed!🤞

fingerscrossed1985 · 29/12/2020 17:31

@NatNoo96 definitely a line! Congratulations!!

PumpkinEverything · 29/12/2020 17:33

I definitely see a line @NatNoo96 😊😊

PumpkinEverything · 29/12/2020 17:34

@bez91 I think mine was water retention during pregnancy as I was making an effort to watch what I’ve ate, but the last few weeks and over Christmas is definitely cheese & chocolate 😂😂

TheDaydreamBelievers · 29/12/2020 17:52

@bez91 I will definitely call them if my test next monday is still positive. My temps are starting to rise so jm hoping this is ovulation anyways!

NatNoo96 · 29/12/2020 17:54

Thank you all! I’m so nervous. Had an early MC at 5 weeks last time. Just hoping to get a clearer result tomorrow and that it lasts this time !

RS2609 · 29/12/2020 18:24

@NatNoo96 definitely a line there. Congrats!

bez91 · 29/12/2020 18:53

@NatNoo96 congratulations 🥳

SophW194 · 29/12/2020 19:06

@NatNoo96 I can definitely see a line ! Congratulations and good luck for a healthy pregnancy !! Xx

susiebluebell · 29/12/2020 19:19

That line is clear as crystal to me @NatNoo96! Well done love and fingers crossed it all goes smoothly from here xx

jec1983 · 29/12/2020 20:45

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping I can join. I had a MMC at 10 weeks in August (Bub measured 9 weeks) and had medical management. I didn’t get a period for 2 months due to retained tissue so I was scheduled for a d and c but came on a very heavy period the day before which a scan confirmed cleared everything out. I fell pregnant a couple of cycles later but on Christmas Eve started to miscarry naturally at 7 weeks. The bleeding has almost stopped so will be back on the TTC journey soon. I’m already lucky enough to have a 2 year old son (who I fell pregnant with first cycle!) but I’m desperate for him to have a brother or sister! I’m 37 so I’m hoping I do have some good eggs left.

You all seem very supportive and friendly and I’m sorry you have all had to go through this.

lillg · 29/12/2020 21:25

@jec1983 sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Christmas eve is such a shit time for it to happen.

PumpkinEverything · 29/12/2020 22:37

So sorry you find yourself here @jec1983 and I hope that the bleeding stops for you soon! This is a lovely and very supportive group though 😊 it’s been such a comfort for me over the last few weeks
