Can I get some opinions please as I’m giving myself line eyes 🙈 I’ll be 5 weeks post surgical management tomorrow and have been getting faint positives. Due to test in the morning but decided to do it tonight instead with a 2 hour hold as i know I’m going to end up not being able to sleep properly thinking about it.

Do we think this looks negative, or negative enough (if you think you see a line) to not need to find the hospital tomorrow?! Also, was I being cheeky doing the test at night instead of waiting until the morning like I’ve done the last few weeks 🙈

@PumpkinEverything I dont see a line on that but you would probably see one on a FRER? I didn't call the hospital until week 5.5 with lines still around

I think I can see a very faint line @PumpkinEverything but I'd say you're pretty much there with it. Mine was stronger than that on a cheapo when hospital tested my urine and said it was negative 😊

Thanks @TheDaydreamBelievers are you going to test again before you go on Thursday? I’m not sure I have a FRER, only a CB digital, and I don’t really want to have to order one 😩
@bez91 reassuring that yours was stronger than that, thanks for sharing! I’ve left it sitting upstairs for around an hour and went back up to look and it doesn’t look like it’s got any stronger or anything. It’s just a faint/almost shadow of a line that feels like my eyes are playing tricks on me. But I know if I was waiting for a positive I’d be convinced I could see it!

Nah @PumpkinEverything. I guess I'm thinking I may as well get bloods and a scan just to double check. Hopefully they'll say "are you kidding us, that's like an hcg of 20, it's done, go home"... then I just need to wait for AF to appear!

@PumpkinEverything I would vote negative! Note: if you leave tests too long, lines may show that aren't accurate - I think it's just general reactivity of the tests at that point and not a "positive" if that makes sense!

Morning everyone. Took tests again this morning hoping for a darker line... It's slightly darker than yesterday but part of me still doubts this is a new pregnancy. I know it probably is but I can't shake the doubts

@PumpkinEverything I can see the faintest line when I stare at it but I would say that is on its way out now?
Maybe give it until the end of the week and do another one of those ones and see if it has completely gone? Are you waiting for AF? Maybe if you don't get that by next week either you could call them. I feel like that test is on its way to a negative though.

@Hopefulmummie I just looked back and the new test definitely looks darker which I would say indicates a new pregnancy.

Did you say you had a negative PT before this? Fingers crossed for you but I'd say it looks good 🙂

@NatJ24 yeah the last test I took was more or less positive. There was the slightest faint line but you had to really look to see it. So I can't see how it would get darker 4 weeks later

@Hopefulmummie - I think the line definitely looks darker to me too :) it’s really hard being in limbo!!! Are you having any symptoms ?

So I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago.... the clear blue test was the faintest line I had gotten about 2 weeks ago , then these two tests have been taken over the last couple days? Would you say mine is also a new pregnancy? My mind is playing tricks on me :( xx

Hi all.

Congrats to the ladies with BFP. I got AF today and my sons nursery bubble has Covid so going to be a crazy time. We are due to start IVF next month so like a few others. Going to back off and focus on IVF and my son (as he will be home for the next 2 weeks). Gonna be interesting. We are all well so that’s the main things.

Congrats on those who got a BFP this week such lovely news! No AF for me yet but I am just coming up to 4 weeks post Erpc now so it may be a week or two yet!

I decided to do a FRER test today as its hubby's birthday this weekend so wanted to see if I can have a wine or not!

I think it is a fairly conclusive BFN (maybe a small detection of an Evap line?) At least I know if I get a positive now it's for real I guess! Will probably test on Fri morning again just to be sure as this wasn't my first wee of the day! For some reason I can't attach a pic here but think it's fairly conclusive to me.

Having had a think about it and seeing @susiebluebell and @RichmondLady1981 ladies messages I think it is over and out for me too.

Some days I think the same @TheDaydreamBelievers that I’ll ring and get them to check anyway, then the next day I’m like no, just another day... 😂🙈 it is barely visible this week though.

Thanks @M4v3r1ck I had been thinking the same. I have them all in a notebook to compare once they’ve dried in and it does look less visible than last week and sort of similar, but even lighter, than the test from the day I found out I was pregnant.

@NatJ24 bit confusing 🤦‍♀️ I’m ‘waiting’ for AF, however have had very light bleeding and spotting for a week now! Brown on wiping with small gushes that are red/dark red (sorry for TMI!) that started almost 4 weeks after surgery so I haven’t known whether to class it as AF on my apps or not. I don’t even know if that’s how it works, but I feel like the bleeding is the rest of the hcg leaving to give me a negative test. I do feel like this one is negative but will do another in a week to check if it’s not even a question of whether it is or not.

@Mammaofgirls I do think that your line looks darker than the precious so could be a new one 🤞🏻 Maybe just wait and test again in another few days though.

@Mammaofgirls I think it's hard to compare from one brand of test to the other. Have you been doing OPKs to suggest you've ovulated to indicate a new possible pregnancy? Maybe call EPU for advice, they may offer you a couple of tests to see if hormones rising?

@elsimo today/tomorrow is ov day for me so I'll soon be with you in the TWW. Hang in there and try and distract yourself.
