@KM89 congratulations! I saw your post and thought I’d comment because I’ve been using One Step and caused myself a lot of stress and anxiety because I didn’t think the line was getting darker once I was a few days in. I did a Clear Blue Digital and FRER today and feel so relieved. Pic attached so you can see the difference - all from the same wee sample. I hope it’s a sticky bean for you xxx

PS sorry I haven’t commented on anyone else’s journey - struggling to keep up but commiserations to those who recently got AF and good luck to those in the TWW!

Hi everyone, sorry if this is TMI has anyone experienced really heavy bleeding with clots the period AFTER a miscarriage? I miscarried on 29th November so this is my first period. It’s definitely just blood clots and not tissue but I was quite taken aback by it xx

KM89 · 08/01/2021 18:59

@familybythesea thank you 😊🙏. Congratulations to you too.

Thats good to know, I do have 1 x of those clearblue digital tests in so I may wait a few days and take that :).

Im trying my best not to go crazy and buy a load of tests if I don't need too haha. Fingers crossed 2021 goes well for us all xx

elsimo · 08/01/2021 19:00

@jesp I am so sorry for ur loss ❤️

@Hanbanxx I didn't have clots but a lot heavier and more painful than usual xx

susiebluebell · 08/01/2021 19:41

@jesp Can I join the others in saying how sorry I am for what you're going through 💕 My mc was much earlier too but it's a life-changing loss, so that bit I do understand. Sending strength xx

@familybythesea Check out your lovely test results! 😊 Xx

lillg · 08/01/2021 19:51

@jesp I'm sorry you're going through this. I can relate exactly, I lost my baby at 20 weeks on Christmas eve. As such, I can't answer your question on your period as I've not had mine yet (only stopped bleeding a day or two ago). However, I've been told I really shouldn't TTC until after I get the post mortem results back, which could be 3 months. I hate the idea of waiting that long, but I do see the sense in it and DH definitely wants to wait so I guess that's that.

RS2609 · 08/01/2021 21:31

@jesp @lillg I’m so sorry for both of your losses 💕

@KM89 @familybythesea congrats on your BFP’s. Hoping for a smooth pregnancy for you both x

Runnergirl1 · 08/01/2021 21:37

OMG I’ve been missing in action for a while and just saw some amazing bfp’s - congratulations ladies.

@HappyVibes I’m so so happy for you. Amazing news to pop on too. Congratulations 🤞🏻 For your 🌈 x

HappyVibes · 08/01/2021 21:48

Thank you @Runnergirl1 💛

It all feels a little bit surreal at the moment, just waiting for the line to get ultra dark and then I will book in for early scans to try and keep our emotions at bay as much as possible.

This is the line progression so far....so I would deffo recommend trusting womanly squinty eye instincts as the first one is barely there, but I had an incline it was. 🤍🤍🤍

@HappyVibes that looks like a great line progression! Congrats again! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

@PumpkinEverything did you have a scan after your miscarriage? I had a similar situation to you where I had about a week of cramping when AF should have been due 4 weeks after miscarriage. Then I had about 5 days of on off light spotting. I kept thinking AF was coming but never did. I had a scan 8 weeks post miscarriage which showed I still had some retained tissue so they sent me to get a d and c. AF arrived (very heavy and lots of clots) so I didn’t need it in the end. Everything went back to normal after that. I hope things improve for you soon. I remember it felt like such a long wait!!

@KM89 and @familybythesea congratulations on your BFP! Fingers crossed for you.

@Hanbanxx yes my first period was extremely heavy with clots. I usually only have light periods so I was quite nervous about it!

@jesp sorry you find yourself here. That must have been heartbreaking at 20weeks. I’ve found this group to be very supportive and helpful.

I’m finding it hard to keep up with all the posts so I’m sorry if I missed anyone! It makes me sad so many of us are in this situation and I hope we see lots more BFP with sticky beans!!

I’m currently 4DPO and time has suddenly started to go so sloooow!!!

PumpkinEverything · 08/01/2021 22:25

Thanks so much for sharing @jec1983 it’s reassuring to hear someone with a similar story to what I’ve been experiencing! I haven’t had a scan yet, but it was surgical management I had to begin with so I’d been hoping they’d have got it all 😔 still waiting on my negative test. Did you wait long on your negative? I’m going to ring on Tuesday when it should be 5 weeks since my MC if I can still see a line.

jec1983 · 08/01/2021 23:11

@PumpkinEverything I really can’t remember when I got my negative to be honest. I left it ages and it’s was negative straight away. Could have been about 4 weeks. I remember googling about the spotting and it seemed most people either had a lot of spotting before AF eventually arrived or a very light period. Maybe AF will eventually arrive for you!! I had medical management and they told me there is a risk of retained tissue with surgical, medical and natural. You’d think with surgical they would be able to get it all though. I really hope things return to normal soon for you it’s such an agonising wait! Keep us updated.

Hanbanxx · 08/01/2021 23:15

@jec1983 ah that's reassuring to know! Mine are usually light too, I'm not enjoying this at all! Xx

CLSM · 09/01/2021 09:47

@jesp I’m so sorry for your loss! TTC and pregnancy is such a long sometimes difficult journey. It must be so hard waiting for the results whilst grieving and wanting to try again. I really hope your dreams come true when you TTC next time and my inbox is always open if you need ❤️

NatJ24 · 09/01/2021 09:56

@jesp so sorry to hear about your loss so late on 😪 that must be so so hard. I hope you're doing as ok as you can be. I dont have any experience with a late miscarriage myself so can't give any advice on ovulation after it. So sorry again xx

NatJ24 · 09/01/2021 09:57

@CLSM I'm glad you were feeling better ❤

NatJ24 · 09/01/2021 10:09

@KM89 and @familybythesea congratulations on your BFPs!! Amazing start to the year.

Sorry if I've missed anyone out there's alot to keep up with, but hopefully that will turn in to alot of good news the next few months!

Firevie · 09/01/2021 17:17

Hi everyone! Hope everyone has had a good Saturday! I’ve finally bought preseed and coq10.
How often and when in your cycle did you take coq10? I wasn’t sure how many mg so I bought the 100mg ones. And who on here has used preseed and how often did you use it? Thanks

M4v3r1ck · 09/01/2021 17:31

Hey ladies, happy Saturday! Hope you're all good! Sorry I missed a flurry of chat, it's hard to keep up!

Welcome to those of you who've just joined - I'm so sorry that you find yourselves here! Sending you much love! 😘😍😍

Did I see some BFPs there!!?? 😍😍😍 Amazing news!!!

@PumpkinEverything @TheDaydreamBelievers I'm sorry this is dragging on so long for you! 😳 Glad the EPU is checking and doing further tests @TheDaydreamBelievers! @PumpkinEverything did you speak with them?

@Firevie I've just bought CoQ10 too after the discussions! I've opted for 200mg and a "highly absorbable one"! From a brief read online, good absorption seemed to be important! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔 Not used preseed either, so intrigued to hear more from others on their experience!

Firevie · 09/01/2021 18:03

@M4v3r1ck yay we will be coq10 buddies then. I’m just unsure as to when to take them in a cycle...
And a bit sceptical/ nervous about preseed

Firevie · 09/01/2021 18:05

Actually I think @RichmondLady1981 takes coq10 - can you please enlighten us - how often / when in the cycle / how long for / how many mg? Thanks xxx

Bellabubble · 09/01/2021 18:29

@Firevie you can take up to 600mg for fertility - I take 300mg a day at all points of my cycle including the TWW. Last time I took it, I fell pregnant on the 3rd cycle (it takes about 90days for an egg to mature so I feel like the coq10 really helped!) Next time I’m going to take it in the early stages if pregnancy as well because it helps with cell production!

Hi,
I had a missed miscarriage back in August with my first pregnancy. Had 8 weeks with no period but then have had 3 normal periods (Oct, Nov,Dec). I did ovulation tests through December but didn’t detect any LV surge over 10 days of taking tests. I am now 3 days late but I did a test today which was negative. I’m worrying that I’ve stopped ovulating...does anyone have any experience ? TIA

RichmondLady1981 · 09/01/2021 19:16

Hi @Firevie. Sorry had a manic week monitoring and setting up remote learning. This is the package I had... I then took it upon myself to seek IVF but this is the package that gave the comprehensive testing.

The fertility package is at London Portland hospital. It’s with a consultant called Mrs P Pisal. She actually also carried out my mmc procedure. Everything was fine except my AMH was slightly low. Which means I need to get a move on.

Co-Q 10 should be taken daily throughout your cycle. 200-400 per day or more if needed. Over 30s can take more.
