I got a static smiley on the clear blue ovulation sticks today (CD 12 if you count first day of proper miscarriage bleeding as CD1 which would be normal for me due to short cycle)! Quite excited as previous miscarriage took 2 months for AF to show up. I’m a bit worried I feel too positive about it and I’m just going to end up very disappointed.

@Mustkeepgoing2 What dosage of Coq10 were you recommended? I’ve started taking it because I read it helps with egg quality but not sure how much I should be taking.

@SophW194 congrats on your BFP! How are you feeling now?

Mumof1ttc · 04/01/2021 09:18

@HappyVibes I see that line 🤞

PumpkinEverything · 04/01/2021 09:19

Really faint line still @bez91 @TheDaydreamBelievers 😩😩

I can see a faint line @HappyVibes! That’s great for 8DPO!🤞 for you. Would it harm you if you started taking your medication and it turned out to be negative? If not I’d get taking them!

Mumof1ttc · 04/01/2021 09:42

@PumpkinEverything so sorry I really thought you would have got your bfn 😩

HappyVibes · 04/01/2021 09:57

@jec1983 @Mustkeepgoing2 COQ10 is on my list too for next cycle - heard really good this about it improving egg quality. I am unsure on the dosage as not read into it wholly yet but I’ve heard really good things about it xxxx

HappyVibes · 04/01/2021 09:59

@Mumof1ttc @jec1983 thank you so much for responding ladies. I just feel like it’s deffo not 100% bright white, so there is definitely a line there...and that was after 3mins so not an evap line. I’ll test again on Weds.

ahhh yeah they were my thoughts too, so I’ve started the meds as can’t do any harm neither way so I feel better taking them ASAP 💫 fingers crossed eeeek xxxx

TheDaydreamBelievers · 04/01/2021 10:02

@PumpkinEverything @bez91 My line on a FRER today is near identical to HappyVibes so...

CONGRATS to you on your BFP @HappyVibes !!!

But sighhh for me still not being a BFN! That's 5 weeks after surgery now. It is weaker than last week though and is about to disappear.

PumpkinEverything · 04/01/2021 10:05

I see the line forming @HappyVibes so all fingers crossed for you 😊

Ugh, it’s so annoying @TheDaydreamBelievers are you contacting them or just waiting to see if it disappears? I’ve had a bit of cramping and spotting this morning, but I’ve also now started to get a bit anxious that my test isn’t negative which is also making my stomach really jittery 😔

Mustkeepgoing2 · 04/01/2021 10:17

@HappyVibes That looks like a line to me. Congratulations and fingers crossed for you.

I would 100% take the mediation from today. It can’t do any harm. Please could I ask who gave you the prescription was it your GP or specialist. I also need to get one in readiness for a future BFP so need to make a few phone calls.

I am on cycle day three so pretty early on in the month so to speak.

@jec1983 I am taking the Boots High Strength 100 MG CoQ10.

Congratulations on your static. I completely get what you mean about trying to control the positivity to avoid a crash. It can be so hard. My New Years resolution is to try and stop wishing away the the months/my life in TTC segments (fertile window, two week wait etc etc) easier said then done but I have realised it makes me so miserable and sucks the enjoyment out of life and also makes me rush through the months of my toddlers life which is precious enough as it is! This month I vow to chill the f@*K out 🙈😂

Xxx

TheDaydreamBelievers · 04/01/2021 10:18

@PumpkinEverything I feel like it is on it's way out... I'd be more tempted to contact them if it hadn't reduced at all... also these are FRERs. Top one is today, bottom one last week. Both are way way weaker than my original BFP at 12dpo.

At this point I'm thinking I should really just buy shares in First Response 😅

Eek, excited for you @HappyVibes! I totally see your line. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you.
I also got a bfp on 1st Jan - not feeling too optimistic after my last early miscarriage but we will see...

Wishing you all a very happy and fertile 2021 :)

PumpkinEverything · 04/01/2021 10:23

Haha, that’s how I feel about the easy@home ones @TheDaydreamBelievers my husband keeps saying I should use a more expensive one to see if that’s negative, but surely I want the negative to be on this one too?! I can definitely see that yours has faded quite a bit in a week which is very good. Even the preview of your photo I can see the line in the bottom one and not at all on the first unless I open it up properly which is good!

RS2609 · 04/01/2021 10:26

@HappyVibes keeping everything crossed for you!

My BBTs have been all over the place and I thought I ovulated on 1st jan but no sustained increase in temps. I’ve gone from constant flashing smileys on clear blue OPK’s to blank circle but never got a static (although I didn’t identify my LH surge the cycle I got pregnant either). So I’m not feeling very hopeful for this cycle. Would have been so lovely to get a BFP so soon after miscarriage but perhaps it’s just not supposed to be this month. We shall see in around 10 days or so x

HappyVibes · 04/01/2021 10:29

@TheDaydreamBelievers thank you lovely. I have just seen your post and definitely understand your thoughts on not wanting to ring given the progression of the lines becoming much lighter. It’s certainly all soon coming to a closure for you lovely. Have you had AF yet? Hopefully not too long for you now lovely so it feels like you’re moving forward. 💓💓💓

NatJ24 · 04/01/2021 10:35

@HappyVibes I see the line 🤗 fingers crossed for you xxx

RS2609 · 04/01/2021 10:36

@familybythesea congrats on your BFP that’s very exciting!

HappyVibes · 04/01/2021 10:36

@Mustkeepgoing2 the progesterone and folic acid was from the gynae lovely. Fingers crossed for you 💫

Thanks @PumpkinEverything it’s extremely light which gives me a bit of the shivers but I’ve also tested super super early so I’m not gunna be reading too much into it. I’ll retest Weds and hopefully see some progression.

@RS2609 that sounds like a confusing time for you lovely. It’s good though that your doing temping alongside OPK to try confirm for sure. I used to swear by clearblue OPK but then I learnt that they don’t work well for all women, so I changed to the cheap OPK strips and put them in premom app, and I love it so much more & gives me much more of an indicator as to when I ovulate. It records the ratio of LH strength for you, so you can literally see it going up and down which I found super helpful as opposed to just high, low and peak xxxxxx

HappyVibes · 04/01/2021 10:37

Oh @NatJ24 thank you lovely. It’s hard cos I do doubt myself as have been here before. But the reassurance from you guys is so so helpful emotionally and physically 💫💓

NatJ24 · 04/01/2021 10:38

@PumpkinEverything and @TheDaydreamBelievers I am just a little behind you both are at testing for a negative following MC. I haven't tested yet as they said to wait 3 weeks so I'll do it the end of this week and go from there. How long after did you both first test xx

PumpkinEverything · 04/01/2021 10:43

@NatJ24 they told me to test at 2 weeks, and I tested first at 1 just out of curiosity, then again at 2 as advised, and rang them and they told me to test at 3, which I did. They said to ring them if still positive at 3 which it is but I haven’t rang as I could see it getting fainter. I tested again at 3 weeks 2 days, and then today at 3 weeks 6 days and the photo I last posted is what I’m seeing!

TheDaydreamBelievers · 04/01/2021 10:44

@NatJ24 I've tested at:

2 week post (as positive as pre surgery)
3 (much less)
4 (mild on a FRER)
5 (v light on a FRER)

I was at 10+5 when the fetus died and 13 when I had surgery so I know the hormones were up v high.

RS2609 · 04/01/2021 10:46

@HappyVibes yeah I think that’s what I’ll be doing from now on. Also the CB ones are so expensive when you’re getting through loads with multiple flashing smileys days!

NatJ24 · 04/01/2021 10:53

@PumpkinEverything and @TheDaydreamBelievers thank you both. I havent tested yet and its been just over 2 weeks so I might do one today or tomorrow to get a starting point on the lines. Like you have both said you could see them getting lighter then and it's a bit of reassurance isnt it. Its such a long process and alot to think of. I cant wait to be back in some sort of routine 🙂, even if its not great at first!

PumpkinEverything · 04/01/2021 11:05

Definitely good for the reassurance and to know other people are in the same boat @NatJ24 I really had expected mine to be lighter at 1 week as I just didn’t feel pregnant at all, so was shocked when the line was the darkest I’d ever seen. So it’s a good idea to take one and be able to compare. I have photos of all of mine and have also kept them all too and wrote on them when they’re from 😊
