Anyone else on the TWW and hoping for a Christmas miracle

Hi everyone,

This is our first cycle TTC, and whilst I promised myself I would stay calm and collected, truthfully I am the total opposite. I can't switch off from thinking about it.

It's taken my OH a while to come to terms with trying to start a family. Whilst we have been together since we were 15 (now 27) he always wanted to earn more, to have a bigger house etc but he's come to finally realise that it's never the right time and we just have to go for it. I was so so pleased he was finally ready but promised we would keep it relaxed and calm. If it happens, it happens,

But working from home and not having anything else to do, I just can't switch off from my mind wondering 🙈 wondered if there was anyone else in the same boat who just wants to chat really?

I'm due AF on Christmas Day so it would be such a Christmas miracle if she doesn't come.

@Foundmyfeet 18lbs is amazing! I always find once I've made some progress it's easier to keep going, and also easier with the better weather coming 🤞

I'm so desperate to start feeling better so I can exercise and eat healthily again. I feel like a little mole living off beige food 😂

@Foundmyfeet such an fab achievement! I found my old Fitbit out the other day and it’s hit home at how lazy I’m being since WFH and pushed my ass into gear.

So, I was shopping today and thought I’d buy a cheapie test to satisfy my need to POAS and I’ve got this. I don’t know what to make of it. There’s definitely something there but after last cycles ridiculous indents I just don’t know 😩. This was just now on afternoon pee, knew I should have been strong and wait for fmu!! Arghhh.

What do you think? Have I lost the plot?

@Mariex1989 omg omg that 100% there!! That's exactly what my frer looked like at 9dpo omg I'm soooo hoping it's a BFP!!! Do you have another to do tomorrow morning?! Eeeekkkkk

@Foundmyfeet @ELBlack thanks for making me feel like it’s not just me that can see it 😂. Only reason I felt I needed to test is because my boobs are getting more sore and not easing off like they do before AF. Just stocked up on wine as well expecting it to realistically be stark white 🙈 imagine my shopping trolley with pregnancy tests and wine 😂

I’m obsessing over it now so going to take the dog out for a long walk to take my mind off it. If it’s ANOTHER indent I must win some kind of award for most indents 😂🙈 trying not to get my hopes up.

I have another cheapie and the clear blue so light do the cheapie tomorrow and save the other for Friday dependant on the outcome

@Mariex1989 I've never tried one of those tests but that really doesn't look like an indent! 😁😁😁

Just annoying as I have no clue what DPO I am and whether it should or shouldn’t be stronger if it was true.
Was looking at the pics I took and this one wasn’t focused properly but think it actually shows it more. Arghh I need to STOP 😂

I'm so excited!!! I signed in on the laptop so I could zoom in on your photo and it's 100% there!! I don't think I can wait until tomorrow morning for you to test again so I can only imagine how you're feeling! Lol!

Still confused with which to do tomorrow, cheap or “proper”. If I still get faint lines I may do a digital. We’re having a “date night” on Friday so would be nice to know by then. I’m not telling even telling OH I’m testing as he was really disappointed last time after the faints were evaps

@Foundmyfeet I think I will. It says the clear blue one is 10mlU and the one I did today was 25mlU so theoretically I should get a positive result if it was true :/

Well I did both tests and they’re BFN! Cheapie one nothing at all and clearblue a shadow of a line that’s more than likely an evap ☹️

@Mariex1989 that clear blue looks positive!! I can see the line!! Have you got a frer or a digital? X

@ELBlack I haven’t got anymore ☹️ I’m just so reluctant to spent any more money on these bloody tests 🙈.
I checked them again (shameful I know), and the Asda one has a vvfaint line but ofc it’s out of the timeframe now. There’s something on the clearblue but it’s so hard to tell if it has colour to it or not when it’s faint in the blue dye ones

@ELBlack what DPO did you do your digital? Was your test faint before?

@Mariex1989 I honestly don't think you are!! So I did a frer 9dpo and it was vvv faint and I thought it was an indent. I also did a cb 9dpo and another frer in the evening (Ffs 🙄) and the cb was fainter than yours but the frer was much darker. I got an obvious bfp on my frer 10dpo and I also dipped a digital in the same pot which is when I got 'pregnant 1-2' I then did frers and IC until about 19dpo like a mad woman 😂 I would really suggest getting a frer or a digital xx
