Anyone else on the TWW and hoping for a Christmas miracle

Hi everyone,

This is our first cycle TTC, and whilst I promised myself I would stay calm and collected, truthfully I am the total opposite. I can't switch off from thinking about it.

It's taken my OH a while to come to terms with trying to start a family. Whilst we have been together since we were 15 (now 27) he always wanted to earn more, to have a bigger house etc but he's come to finally realise that it's never the right time and we just have to go for it. I was so so pleased he was finally ready but promised we would keep it relaxed and calm. If it happens, it happens,

But working from home and not having anything else to do, I just can't switch off from my mind wondering 🙈 wondered if there was anyone else in the same boat who just wants to chat really?

I'm due AF on Christmas Day so it would be such a Christmas miracle if she doesn't come.

All good here thanks. Soooo glad it’s the weekend! Not that we can do much but I can’t wait for a lie in. We’re having a “date night” tonight which will be nice, I may even get changed out of my lounge wear, put some makeup on and brush my hair for the first time in ages 😂

@Mariex1989 I had a panic again earlier around lunchtime but I just keep reminding myself so many women don't even know they're pregnant yet, and every woman is different so I may not even get symptoms (although having said that my boobs are SO sore today 😭

Haha omg that sounds exactly like me!! There's no way I'm getting changed out of my lounge wear, it's the only thing that's comfortable with the bloat 😂 enjoy your date night!! X

Hi ladies!! It's been a manic day. Work went nuts and I barely had time to scratch my ar*e much less anything else.

@Mariex1989 oooh date night! Enjoy! I put some make up on for NYE and forgot even how to do it as it had been so long. Didn't go anywhere, just sat in the living room but I felt nice! AF isn't here yet but my belly is growling and tender. I'm due between yesterday and tomorrow but I'm thinking that this diet may mess my cycle up a bit? I've cut out meat and I've never done that before. My poor body doesn't know what's hit it!

@ELBlack not long to wait for the scan and then you can relax a little. And glad you're feeling more positive even with the little wobbles. Have you worked out your due date?

@Foundmyfeet good you've been busy! Keeps you distracted when you're waiting for AF to hopefully not show!!

Hahaha I know what you mean about make up. Feel like I've totally forgotten how to do it!!

@ELBlack - here's some useless information I found out a while ago and have remembered ever since as it just so happens to be my brother's birthday also, but September 26th is the most popular day for babies to be born. Obviously it's all down to Xmas nookie! Lol! So quite possibly your little bubs could end up being born a day earlier and sharing the worlds most common birthday! 🥳🎉

@ELBlack I don’t know who I was kidding, I did my hair and makeup but put my loungewear back on 😂😂.

Well my date night turned into a party for 2 and today I’m not in a good place 😂🤢 on the plus side we DTD 3 times so got some decent bd-ing in 😂

@ELBlack I'm ok. I knew anyway. But I'm feeling very positive at the moment with my weight loss journey and getting my body ready to conceive and carry. I had the strangest dream last night. Dreamt that DH told me that HE was pregnant! Lol!

@Mariex1989 - I'm sorry...I feel bad for winding you guys up! Weight loss is going ok. The scales have stuck for the last week but think it's my PMS. Was really good yesterday and somehow put on 1lb this morning! I just don't get it. But I'm going to plod on. How are you doing?

I'm good thanks, I woke up in a rancid mood. Like so angry and moody for no reason that I've decided to take the afternoon off work, do a long walk with the pup and then drink endless cups of tea and watch Bridgerton lol! How are you?

@ELBlack - oooh Bridgerton! My friend told me it's so good and very racy! I've been meaning to begin watching it.

@ELBlack congratulations sweetie! Praying for a healthy and happy pregnancy.
It's been just over 3 weeks since the start of my miscarriage and I've just had another delivery for my ovulation ready to start next cycle haha

@Foundmyfeet it's sooo good! Very racy! Would definitely recommend it.

Also, just wondering if anyone has been though the same thing, but was referred to EPU with suspected ectopic this week. Everything was fine and in the right place. Measuring 5+3 which was exactly what I thought on the day I was scanned, however, my discharge notes say 'corpus leutum: haemorrhagic' I'm now away we all have corpus leutums in early pregnancy, but I'm wondering if the 'haemorrhagic' but means it's likely to haemorrhage and cause a MC? I'm assuming if this was something to worry about they would have warned me? Maybe I'm overreacting, but just feel a bit anxious and drained from the worries this week

@ELBlack glad everything is where it should be! I looked it up and it means you have an ovarian cyst which is bleeding which may explain the pain you were having. Having an ovarian cyst in early pregnancy is very common and normal. I had one at my 12 week scan. I was told we have these cysts in the first trimester to sustain the pregnancy whilst the placenta is still developing. As far as I know, the haemorrhage part does not cause an MC. If they were at all concerned, they would've said so. It's likely yours is a small one. So put your feet up and relax! Other than your little scare, how are you feeling? X

@ELBlack I'm feeling much better now just waiting for AF to arrive although we tried again a few days after the bleeding had stopped and for the past few days my boobs have been ever so sore even worse then last month it's awful

Thanks @Foundmyfeet you're right, if it was something to worry about I think they would have asked me to come back in a couple of weeks maybe. They seemed very positive about everything, I think I was in such shock with being in A&E and then EPU it's only really sinking in and my brain is going for a wonder! I'm just worried if it's bleeding, it won't be there to support the pregnancy before the placenta kicks in, thus ending in a MC 😭 I'm likely worrying over nothing. Feeling OK otherwise thanks, a bit nauseous but not feeling physically sick x

@Alist12 is that a sign of AF for you? Maybe once you've had your first cycle you'll feel more reassured with trying again? Xx

Thanks @Mariex1989 you're right! I think I was so shocked when I was taken to hospital and then waiting for my scan that now its all over I'm actually thinking about it and just looking for things to worry about when there's hopefully no need. Our scan is 2 weeks today, I absolutely cannot wait. I'm just really hoping to see progression and a healthy heartbeat x
