Anyone else on the TWW and hoping for a Christmas miracle

Hi everyone,

This is our first cycle TTC, and whilst I promised myself I would stay calm and collected, truthfully I am the total opposite. I can't switch off from thinking about it.

It's taken my OH a while to come to terms with trying to start a family. Whilst we have been together since we were 15 (now 27) he always wanted to earn more, to have a bigger house etc but he's come to finally realise that it's never the right time and we just have to go for it. I was so so pleased he was finally ready but promised we would keep it relaxed and calm. If it happens, it happens,

But working from home and not having anything else to do, I just can't switch off from my mind wondering 🙈 wondered if there was anyone else in the same boat who just wants to chat really?

I'm due AF on Christmas Day so it would be such a Christmas miracle if she doesn't come.

That’s what I had today - cramps that felt a bit different to usual, went to the loo and just loads of creamy cm. but I’m CD50 and BFN/v faint lines so I’m deffos not pregnant just need AF to come now 😭.

Hi, can I join you all? This is my first cycle TTC for my second baby. I didn't do any ovulation tracking, I'm so worried I got the timings wrong and we missed it. AF due 11th and usually have 27 day cycles.

@Tillybabs so nervous and excited for the scan just in case nothing is there. It's going to be the longest 2 days of my life ughh

@Mariex1989 thankyou so much👏🏼 was a bit shocked to know that my lines were faint and they put me at 4/5 weeks considering 3 years ago I first fell pregnant and my lines were so much more darker at 12 dpo then now but that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage unfortunately.
Just want my miracle baby. When I see the little dot on the scan I will know everything is okay

I had a peak LH test this afternoon, which is great because me and DH dtd this morning! Going to do it again tomorrow and hope that this is our month 🤞

@Mariex1989 thank you! I've felt much more relaxed about it all this month, and only tested once a day, whereas before I was testing like 4 times a day!! 🙄

Oooh, sorry to hear about AF but pleased you're out of limbo

Hi ladies, looking for some advice, I got my 'peak' earlier this afternoon, and loaded it into my app which said test again in 4 hours, and I did and there was barely a line. Is that normal? Im on cd14 and started using OPK's on cd10 and they have been low, it just seems strange that I had a peak 4 hours ago, and now the line is barely there...

@ELBlack that’s good - it seems being relaxed is the way to go. I’m not really “with it” when it comes to OPK’s; never really used them.

I’ve deleted my apps and just made a note of when I should expect AF next month (although clearly not reliable anyway) and whatever happens happens x

Cd19 and I'm really cramping. I hate not knowing if it's ovulation or what's going on. I think I might consider tracking next cycle if this one is unsuccessful.

Hi everyone, I'm a bit late to this thread but I'm 11dpo and the TWW is killing me! My BBT dropped this morning (not super low so could be random, and earlier than I would normally expect it to if AF was coming) which was disappointing as I just felt "different" this month. I think I have got swept up in the idea of a Christmas/NY miracle too. My expectations were to be focusing on IVF/fertility treatments this year but I kept thinking "but what if this is the month?"

We have been TTC since June 2019 and nothing yet :( Had some tests done, sperm analysis "suboptimal" and my blood/hormone levels normal except for "slightly elevated" testosterone but they told us to just keep trying for another 6 months for now. It's so hard to believe it could actually happen after month after month of disappointment but I'm trying not to lose hope. Our next step is a Hycosy scan to rule out blocked tubes but I'm pretty scared of having it tbh incase it causes a uterus infection.

Anyway, fingers crossed for everyone still in the TWW, congrats to the BFPs and thinking of everyone who is disappointed this month xx

@Mariex1989 - I understand why you would feel a little sad and at the same time relieved that AF has arrived. Like @ELBlack says, at least you're out of limbo now and can get cracking on with the next cycle.
I'm the same as you...bloody hate the gym. I've been on a diet for 2 days and I'm struggling already! Lol!

@ELBlack enjoy getting jiggy! Lol! Sorry, I'm useless when it comes to the finer details about OPK's but the good thing is that you got a BD in the same day you had your peak.

@Tillybabs - Just before I got my BFP with DD, I had some serious cramping and pains. I was at work and struggled to get out of the chair because it was so bad. A week later I got my BFP so you never know!

@Ebhc - I don't track every month due to time and expense. In the last 14 months, I've had 2 pregnancies; one tracked and one not. But also I conceived my DD the day after AF finished so that was a shocker to say the least! If you've been BD-ing quite regularly, hopefully you'll have conceived.

@Sarah239 - Welcome! Yes the TWW is a killer! But you're in good company! Lol!

Been having bad cramps again this morning along with lots of nausea and veiny sore boobs🤮 did a test this morning to make sure and the line is still very faint I will upload the picture. Don't think it can be seen over camera but it's definitely there.
The doctors have put me down at 4/5 weeks and I have a scan tomorrow but I've got a feeling that I won't be seeing my little dot on the screen tomorrow

@Alist12 hoping all goes well at the scan tomorrow. The fact that you feel nauseous is a good sign though!

@Foundmyfeet got my scan tomorrow but mainly to check if everything is okay. Started light bleeding today, not getting anything when I wipe but when I take my tampon out there's a small bit of pink blood with loads of clear watery/stretchy cm ( tmi ) hope everything goes well tomorrow don't want to be disappointed

@Mariex1989 got my scan in two hours but not looking good bleeding a lot more then usual and I had a blood clot come out.
Been having a lottt of pain worse then my usual period cramps it's horrible.
Guess only time will tell hey
