We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, which some of us have been for longer than we care to remember 😜. So whether your glass of half empty, half full, a pint glass, a shot glass (a tic tac container?), a mug of tea, this is where we come to refill it...🥰 Mumsnet is our happy place 🥰

@Vil10 I agree with the others I would definitely tell her you're ttc and you have been for a while now and although you want to be there to support her, you don't necessarily need her talking about it like she is as it is actually quite offensive to someone who wants it so bad. If I was her and I was being like thag to a friend and then they told me I would be horrified 😳

@Minster2012 hubby is very rough and I left him at home.
Frers will be here tomorrow, AF due Wednesday so I'm going to wait till Wednesday.
I'm cramping and feeling sick but was like that last month so I think AF is on her way.

Well ladies we've been creating "magical moments" this afternoon & of course this is me & I hate that phrase. So... see lovely walk in woods DH towing DS. as per usual. We have our 2 dogs & on laws dog. In rain. In mud. Lovely. DS laughing all good. DH pulling reactor fast. Can you guess what happens next?

She has loads of live workouts saved onto her IGTV... she has a book coming out but I don't know when. Also her little baby boy Alfie is as cute as a button and he's in some of her videos too 😍

I'm feeling very Christmassy today! After a night away last night, we're now back home watching Elf all cosied up 🥰 last week at work coming up too! Alsooo think I've got the first sign of a bump coming, although 100% in the awkward chubby / pregnant inbetween phase x

Question for those that have been pregnant before, hoping to not tell my parents until New Years Eve, but have to get through Christmas day first. Dad is already talking about what food everyone wants etc. My favourite cheeses are off the menu, along with Dad's Christmas cake . But can I have prawns? Normally the little frozen ones you buy. Also I rather like frozen berries, and I eat them frozen like sweets but I don't know if I can still have them like that, so haven't.

Meant to say, thanks for the white wine spritzer tip 👍🏼 I've been drinking white wine spritzers lately and not only is it making my bottles of wine last longer, I'm feeling a lot less guilty about a few drinks at the weekend when TTC now that they are weaker 😅

I think I'm out for December as I've had spotting today and yesterday as I always do on the days before AF so that's 12 months trying now. I'm actually thinking maybe I'm just not meant to be a mum, its not meant to be? I can't bring myself to call the GP either. Will just try and enjoy Christmas now and have a think in the new year.

@JustMouse I have prawns quite often, make sure they are defrosted properly. Ive also been eating all the cheeses, brie and all. Been eating my steak medium and cooking my braised steak in Ale. The only food I am avoiding is pate, because thats high in Vit A. With everything else I have a higher chance of catching salmonella through work than food poisoning.

Sorry can't remember who to tag, but yes I had a BFN on 10dpo (despite having an 11 day LP), then a BFP at 14 dpo. (didn't test in between as I was away camping drinking beer 😳🤦🏼‍♀️)

@Kirky658 Awww I do get you. I had to do the same earlier this year. I started ttc. Then joined MN 2 months later. Found some useful tips etc and enjoyed talking to people. But then it started getting me down all these people conceiving (especially when it was fast) and nothing was happening for me. So I stopped coming on. I was obsessing too much.
Now I'm OK and enjoy seeing the chat. And I like this bus isn't just about obsessing with ttc, and also there are people on here that have been trying a while. So you know you aren't alone. But I think sometimes it is important for you to take time out of you need to. It's a tough journey.

I reckon today is ovulation day for me. Dtd yesterday. Fingers crossed.
