We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, which some of us have been for longer than we care to remember 😜. So whether your glass of half empty, half full, a pint glass, a shot glass (a tic tac container?), a mug of tea, this is where we come to refill it...🥰 Mumsnet is our happy place 🥰

Ladies I'm SO excited. This time next week I'll be with my family in Dubai! ☀️☀️☀️ although I'm BRICKING it as we take a covid test on Wednesday and I'm paranoid we'll be positive because of teaching. Going to stay away from the germ carrying pests that are children 😂 4 days to go!
Also waiting for my temp drop and rise to confirm ov 🤨

@Vil10 she seems pretty cold hearted but I guess if she's not ready 🤷‍♀️anyway, we are here for you.

@JustMouse you can have soft cheese if they are cooked so like baked Camembert is ok for instance but o wouldn't have too much and you can swerve eating much on a cheese board by just eating some cheddar then "being stuffed", if you are hosting then drinks you can take quite a bit. Buy a fake sparkling wine or Prosecco or if you usually drink g & t then get OH to go make it and just put in ice a slice of lemon and then just tonic and it looks the same. It's more difficult if someone else's house of course or wine at the dinner table but if you are wandering around it's very easy to have a wine glass in your hand, nurse it then keep putting it down and "losing it". The Xmas cake though, if it has a whole bottle of booze in it I'd enjoy it guilt free as it's food right?? Prawns are fine. Berries? Fine. Charcuterie no unless cooked like on pizza but it ain't gonna kill you or the baby so meh like @blodyn says & i personally would have a glass of wine or fizz if you want to hide it but that's me it's not for everyone

@2020mission I think we've proved 12 months doesn't mean much lovely so don't think like that & I'll be having lots of sparkling water with my wine over Xmas!

@paintfairy prob the only place my DH hasn't pissed is the bed, my BIL for 5 years every time he got drunk did it...with SIL in it. We bought a waterproof mattress protector just for him staying 😂. Whoop whoop for ovulation 🍆🙌🏻

@Minster2012 yes I had a lovely day I was mostly food shopping but I had 2 presents to buy and got them. I'm all wrapped abs everything.
I'm working all through Xmas and nee year only have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off so need to be organised.

@blodyn91 thanks it was me that tested today I'm either 9 or 10 dpo and it was a BFN. Going to try wait it out now. AF due Wednesday so we will see. Xx

@lucyrp - My plan is to book a scan for about 30th December, I should around 8 weeks then. Then wrap the scan up, and give it to them as we enter into the new year - all my sisters idea!

@Minster2012 - Its the mould blue cheeses that are my favourite! I had stomach surgery 3 years ago, so can play the i'm stuffed very well. I had to do it last night, i've really gone off anything sweet and just couldn't face a piece of birthday cake. I'm not a drinker, so always the driver, so another lucky escape on that one. As long as my Christmas dinner has a yummy piece of stuffing with it, i'll be happy.

I feel like day 2 after a night like that is always the worst bit 😂 I had an awkward situ just after I found out I was pregnant with a girl I work with who had also just found out but didn't want to keep it, felt like I didn't know what to say. Yesss for Xmas breaks 🙌🏻 it's going wel thanks gorge, I've started to feel better this week which is a relief, although also a worry that I may now start to gain weight so need to start watching what I eat. How are you? 😬😂 x

I love it, a few years ago we had silver decorations etc and I wasn't feeling it at all so back to the traditional red and gold and warm lights 🥰 I forgot there wasn't a picture in the top of the frame I keep going to add one in but forget 😂 I'm feeling fine thank you, I wish I was getting nausea but nothing yet I'm sure that will come soon no doubt. No symptoms really yet ! How are you ? Omg me and DS watched the animated grinch last night! Love it, we've just got a tv in our room just in time for pregnancy and early nights 😉😂x

Before I even say hello I want to do a massive squeal of delight and say congratulations @lucyrp! I was on earlier buses so know your journey and I'm so over the moon it's finally your turn again!

Sad to still see some familiar names still on the bus.....didn't take me 2mins to work out what bus you were all on, loving the name ha ha

For those that don't know me, ttc number 2 since last August and have had 4 CPs in that time. The last one hit me really hard so jumped off the bus for a while just to get my head together. Now sitting in the car park of the docs waiting to get my 21day bloods taken and have scans to check what's going on inside at the end of the month. It's all seeming very real again so thought it was time I hopped back on the bus again.

Hey ladies. Feeling pretty down today. So last night me and fiancé did it with it being my peak etc. He was really tired but I managed to get him in the mood or so I thought... long story short, he didn't finish. I feel like I've failed him, she I feel really guilty too for feeling sad about it.. I don't want him to feel pressured or anything. Obviously I'd do it tonight again if possible but like I say I don't want him to get pressured etc. I feel like it's all my fault. I don't think this month is our month 😥

Aw @DKDK123 welcome back! I have often wondered how you were getting on. I was so sad for you after your last cp. Glad you are getting investigations now and hope you get some answers.

@amy2503 these things happen, or don't happen as the case may be. Just have a chat and see where he is at. I'm sure it was just tiredness. If you manage tonight great but if not don't stress.

@lucyrp my mum has always had a real tree and i love it purely for the smell too!! But my OH already had a fake one when I moved in and it's a decent one to be fair so I've just made do with this but when we move I'll definitely be getting a real one!!

I came back home from children a +e at 2.30 in the morning, at nearly 8.30, ds took himself to bed, unheard of, with headache, blurry vision, just unwell, 20 min later he called crying, gave him calpol called 111, they say migraine, take him to a+e, by the time we got there he was a bit better as in no longer lethargic, but still the same, he perk up later, they think is viral (=we don’t know) and starting and he’ll get worst today, and they pick up on a long constipation problem and gave him laxatives, he has sensory issues with fruit so very limited fruit and veg. He still sleeping and I should be too but woke up🤷🏼‍♀️

@amy2503 I'm lucky we don't have that problem. But even so, I don't actually really tell him what's happening any more. Because it felt scheduled and I could tell he felt annoyed. And although I still know iy is really and wish I didn't, he probably doesn't. The other day we really needed to do it (probably the only hit I got this month) and I just casually said I felt horny and he was like- I can oblige if you want? And that was that.
