@2alreadywantanother it's always hard isn't it! Sending hugs to you too! I've contemplated coming off social media for a little while because there's too many pregnancy announcements and baby pictures and people saying "it only took 2 months", and I'm usually a really strong person but every time I see something it aches that little bit more x

@paintfairy Boris def deserved one, literally half the south seems to have migrated to our village already & everyone seems ok with that 🤷‍♀️if we don't see our family next week we are actually being punished cos we live 6 miles away instead of 200. Apparently the 5 days started now around here.

@Vil10 one of my sils doesn't want children, every big family meeting, there is the inevitable you might already be out of time, you'll regret it, it's best to have them than regretting it in your older years, bla bla bla.... You should have seen her face, when I once was there, I only said your choice is as valid as mine, nobody questions why did I have a child, let alone tell me I'll regret it, my aunties just avoid the conversation when I am around now

@Minster2012 the parents have it now, only tested on Thursday, I guess he had it asymptomatic, they just finished the isolation, now they start again

You all deserve a hug 🥰

So if we are doing dates I'm due 24th/25th but not sure when I'll test as when would be great to get a bfp vs awful to get a bfn is a bit of a dilemma.

Just reading up on the new strain & I know we are actually really lucky in our area now not (currently) having the new strain & everyone feels the same but I'm shit scared about another post Xmas lockdown & ivf not happening 😔I want DH to see less ppl to keep us safe but he's still working & getting v frustrated & if our timescale is into feb/March (like other ladies on here too not just me) it's just a bit squeaky bum not hearing on dates & even not having paid them??
Argh I don't want ppl coming back home from other areas to here near meeeeeeeeeee. What if our MMC was our only shot? Arghhhhhhh 😭😢🥺😩

Personally id say with regards to testing that you should either do it early to give you time to process or leave I until after Xmas (as long as you're OK with afs possible arrival). Having good news at Xmas would be amazing but if its a BFN (which we hope it's not but still) its still alot if emotion to deal with at Xmas.... That's what I'd do anyway. Xx

In all honesty tho, Wales in tier 4 style lockdown indefinitely is hard to digest. It's needed, especially as they thing the enw strain is in circulation in Wales (it must be because numbers are Horrific) but it still absolutely shit. Sending love to all that need it tonight 💕💕💕

Thanks @Sausage1990 I think you are right that xmas day wouldn't be great but keep flip flopping on testing either Christmas eve or boxing day. I hate af just showing up, hits me harder than a bfn. I guesd I'll play it by ear depending on if I have any symptoms or feel af is on the way.

@Minster2012 completely understandable. There is so much uncertainty. On the bright side hopefully your potential transfer date is far enough away from Christmas so that things have settled down again by then. I know that's not really comforting. Stay safe and hope for the best my dear.

So today is a good day, (sorry of u think I'm rubbing it in) but here were had no travelling to other counties and I havent seen my sister (&kids) or mam since 2nd of sept. I had the mc during that and not having them was shit. Today the sun shines and we are going for a meal. This is my Christmas guys. I'm like a child and so friggin excited. Cd10 and a serious itch to poas. Rhr stayed the same too. Am I reading too much into it 🙈
Sorry for those gone back into lockdown. Its shit, I know. I'm 1 of the few sticking to it and doing it proper. Dh family 90% aren't and they are pissing me off. We cant have a small get together Christmas day as always because a few a too selfish and wont restrict movements for a few days. MIL (lives alone) I'm the sucker every yr to take her. (She has 5 kids, 3girls) all married with families like ourselves. Well anyway her daughter X is taking her. But now it's mil is dying and I'm afraid they won't be able to due to a wake or funeral cause sucker here will get lumbered with her. Even tho (I'm not her frigging daughter) she has 2 other daughters and a son and dil. I told DH last night, I said I'm sorry, but we asked her to limit who she sees and she didn't. I'm not putting my family at risk. My son is T1 diabetic and I'm not "not pregnant " just yet.
Am I been selfish. Like on refusing to go xmas day to his sister's house to see her now (previously planned) cause their son is been 🥒. Only tested the other day as he was a close contact and now back in pubs all over each other. Dont need other peoples stress 🙄 so for today now that's gone.... my anxiety cant handle it.
