We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, which some of us have been for longer than we care to remember 😜. So whether your glass of half empty, half full, a pint glass, a shot glass (a tic tac container?), a mug of tea, this is where we come to refill it...🥰 Mumsnet is our happy place 🥰

@notyetamumbuttrying I only tend to wear pants not pjs as well, I wear just pants y'know, in case of a nighttime rape attack 🤪I did used to wear a vest top too to stop my boobs sliding into my arm pits but then we moved to the hottest house in the world 😜but I still can't not wear pants 🤷‍♀️def why we can't conceive (add to list to talk to clinic about, the nurse will LOVE that comment!)

Pj's and pants girl too! My bum still eats everything though - my bath robe, my summer dresses etc OH is always laughing at me cause it's so noticeable.

@notyetamumbuttrying I got the fertility clinic referral for May. Tempted to do an HSG in the mean time though.

I go naked. The odd time I do wear a nightie he has a face on him lol

Thank you for your thoughts on the vaccine girls..it's really interesting and frustrating situation. I'm keen to get the vaccine myself as DH & my dad are type 1 diabetic and FIL is type 2 PLUS I work with diabetes patients some of whom are really quite vulnerable with lots of complications so it would be good to protect them. Plus there is an element of comfort working in a hospital that you're vaccinated...

@minster2012 I think it's definitely interesting what your clinclic said about i... I think I might just see how it goes. After the very drawn out ordeal with the miscarriage DH would prefer us to wait a few months before actively trying to give kt body change to fully recover but is happy to not prevent. Just DTD unprotected and see what happens. I duno I think I'll have to have a chat to him. I really really want to have a baby and I can't bare the idea of putting it off even more... Its a hard choice isn't it.

@lucyrp @minster2012 I agree that nighties are still a thing myou can get quite nice ones or just really oversized tshirt ones. I love a pj but get really hot at night so end up kicking the bottoms off & a nightie in summer is good too. I'm a no knickers at night kinda girl so last night was my 1st knicker free sleep since October and it was so lush! Haha

@Juno231 totes hungry bum here too I just don't give it much to eat 😂maybe there is a correlation between stifled foof and not conceiving, maybe we should do a study?!

@lucyrp sexy negligee maybe. None here though!

@Minster2012 cd26 here, on normal cycle af would be here tomorrow , I don’t have much on pms, sore slightly bigger boobs, a bit of nausea, and no cramps, or sore foof anymore, or I could be in for a very long cycle, or this could be it.... no test in the house, no idea when I’ll test

So as promised here's the photo of the newly decorated and carpeted nursery 🥰 still needs curtains and the furniture building of course! I'm sorry if this upsets anyone, I know most people wanted to see, but please let me know if it does and I will remove it.

Soooo we told dh's parents about ttc and possible ivf etc and I think MIL is a bit upset as she gets really emotional about pregnancy bless her, she had 5 kids and couple of MCs in her day so I think it hits close to home. They were so lovely and I'm glad we told them now, feeling relieved about it.

I've no PMS symptoms really. Just a dull cramping on and off this few days and had some backache the other day.

@2alreadywantanother oh my! Imagine, we could have matching due dates, and first cycle after loss, too good to be true? I must confess I googled the possible due date 29th August, with D's starting secondary school in the first days of September might be a bit too much to chew, (I can't make the saying right).... Oh well, away with the fairies already....

I’m also not fussed about dates. I just wait for AF and every time so far it’s arrived so no testing needed
@Franklydear seven seas update: it’s not shortened my cycle. I’m usually 28 days and I’m on day 29 currently so it’s lengthened it for me!

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah I had a text form the health board to say to send us your details and we'll get you on the list and then over the next few weeks we'll get invited for the appointment. I know people who've already had the 1st jab already. However they didn't get as much vaccine as they thought so are priotising so I don't know how soon it will be. I think I'll just got with the flow.

@minster2012 well what he means is he doesn't want to prevent pregnancy but also doesn't want me to be doing opk testing and timing sex in the way we did before for a little while. So if it happens it happens - does that make sense? We will need to make an effort now tho to get back to DTD regularly because we've had a VERY long dry spell. I really don't want to not try so we're going to have to have some discussion about what not trying looks like to him vs the relaxed approach of ttc lol. I think we both want to just reconnect physically without as much pressure. Xx

Ahhhh yes @Sausage1990 hmmm totally get your thoughts though, maybe leave one cycle and reconnect and just enjoy each other physically & see when AF comes anyway then you will have a better idea on your potential OV

@Sausage1990 my friend who's a nurse had to sign a waiver and on that was that they couldnt guarantee it wouldn't affect fertility... So I guess I would feel uncomfortable having it until I'd finished having children.

I always sleep in knickers so don't worry @Minster2012 no suffocated foof here!
