Hi all, is it ok if I join. I’ve been following on your buses for a couple months now and finally plucked up the courage to post. TTC #1 I came off the pill start of October had a withdrawal bleed few days after and then on cd 37 had my real first period. The first month off the pill was the worst talk about heightened symptoms. I started using OPKs from cd12 and started getting a few niggles on my right hand side a few days later nothing too painful I then ovulated on cd27 and have been in pain since. The day after ovulation was the worse. I’m now 6dpo and the pain is still there it’s not cramping it’s like a dull ache on my right side and then sharp pains it hurts to sit and bend and stretch initially. Has anyone else been like this the first month after first proper period. OH keeps thinking I’m pregnant but I know even if I am it shouldn’t hurt this early on (men really haven’t a clue) and I can’t confide in anyone as no one knows. We are due to get married in a few weeks (postponed wedding) so don’t want to tell people we are ttc.

@DJmum83 - Don't give up on the driving. I was 18 but a complete bag of nerves every time. Took me 8 goes to pass, but it's the best thing I ever did. Believe me at 18 I had some huge strops over it. 15 years on, it's something i'm so grateful to my parents for.

I know I should do something about work, but it's the last day today, so i'm going to leave it and see what happens in January. Time to switch off for 2 weeks, it's been the hardest term ever.

Faint faint lines on FRER again today, and temp has really dropped so think it must be a chemical or evap lines but I doubt you would get Evap lines on 3 FRER.
Just going to wait for AF now and no more testing..

7dpo here and have a dull pain in my back. Anyone tracking rhr? Should u have a big drop b4 spike for implantation?
Not had much of a drop, down 1, flat lined now up. Its strange. I'd normally have a bigger drop after ov, even the month I conceived.
Nothing with boobs or anything. Was very emotional the other day but have been like that on and off since mmc.

Anyone due to test now.
Af due 24/25 here. And really hoping I can resist the urge to poas until then, that's if the witch hasn't already arrived 😢 if it does I'll be getting pretty drunk over xmas 🙊

Morning @Luna57 welcome! Hope you can keep up and get involved we are a lovely supportive chatty bunch here 🥰🙌🏻6dpo can be the start of implantation so here's hoping it's a good start for you. Men know nothing but them again often we know nothing about our bodies too I'm afraid!

@2alreadywantanother from looking at other ladies' charts, some have implantation dips, others don't. I think it's a toss up really! Fingers crossed for you.

My chart is looking good today but alas I tested this morning and got a BFN. I know I'm not out until the witch shows up but I am sure she will!

@DJmum83 I only took my drivers licence when I was 30! In a horrible part of London at that, right by the north circular and lots of terrifying roundabouts but I still made it somehow :) My problem is that I've barely driven since so am actually terrified of driving now lol - and can't stand the thought of OH being in the car when I drive!

@Juno231 how many dpo are you sorry for the BFN but the chart looks good right and Dec yours??!! I think you need to get back behind the wheel to get the confidence back! It's a big thing def

@Minster2012 I've definitely said that like it was a breeze, it wasn't, my sister dragged me out and I ached and complained the whole way round!!

@Minster2012 sorry this is a bit late but you have definitely been more than fair to your employees and they sound like they are taking the absolute mickey!! Definitely request evidence from them. I’ve driven the odd flatbed in my time thinking I should come your way.

@DJmum83 sorry you think it might be a chemical. I agree it looks likely, though you never know. I suppose that's the problem with the FRER. I've never used the super-early tests but I have very severe hyperemesis in (successful) pregnancies and the symptoms start so early that it has always been obvious that I had conceived from about a week before my period, including with 3-4 very early losses / false starts. Of course it's good to know that the conception bit is working OK, but maybe you have children already and weren't worried about this anyway -- sorry, I can't keep track of everyone's situation!

@Juno231 you're still too early to test in my opinion! Hardly anyone gets a positive at 10DPO and with that chart you might be only 9DPO -- fertility awareness method rules would put your ovulation on day 15 not 14 (because the temp on day 15 is not above the previous 6 days). Your temp looks good though. How long is your luteal phase usually, do you know?

I possibly felt ovulation pain yesterday/this morning, though I'm not sure as I don't usually notice it, and if I'm ovulating now it is very early for me (I'm CD13 today, and I have never ovulated earlier than that). I'll be pleased if I have a short cycle though as we are moving to France for a year over the summer and we have agreed that we will stop ttc from about mid-April because I would almost certainly be too ill to move house/country in the first 4 months of a pregnancy. If it hasn't happened by then then we'll try again in the autumn but I'll be 41 in April so worried about leaving it too late. My cycles are usually quite long so short = good as gives us more opportunities!

@Luna57 it’s really early, I stop the pill a year ago, the first few months hormones ramp through my body it was horrible, it might be that, if you been on it long
@Minster2012 I know they sent the forms, but I would expect a phone call and a chat too

@2alreadywantanother getting back to normal, health wise is pretty normal now, all scares past, only 2 more days isolation, cd24 now, and feeling completely normal, don’t know if to hope I’m pregnant or that a period doesn’t take months,

@Luna57 welcome. If you are worried about the pain maybe check in with your doctor. How are you today?

Those of you who have had their initial fertility clinic appointment can you fill me in on what happens? I've had my day 3 and day 21 bloods done and they were sent with the referral. OH hasn't had anything done yet. What will the first appointment be like? Did you need all your cycle dates to hand or just an overview of how your cycle is? Have they any interest in things like opks and bbt? What happens on the day?

@Minster2012 morning! Thanks for the welcome. I don’t think it’s implantation the pains been there from just before ovulation doesn’t seem to be easing I’m assuming it’s my hormones just playing a wicked game with me.

@Vil10 does your pain normally linger on til AF? I think we’re the same DPO I’m now 7dpo. I know it’d be a miracle to catch first cycle I’m not holding out for a Christmas BPF I’m just glad my bits are starting to work right again after being on the pill so long 😂

@Franklydear I was on the pill for 2 years then had the depo for 2 years and then straight on the pill for another 4 years so haven’t known my body properly since I was 18. My OH soon to be DH has been dying for a DC for about 4 years now but I always wanted the wedding first but with everything going on nothing ever goes to plan.

Hi @Katao pain is still there in waves it normally gets worse at night I think I’ve a nocturnal body 😂 was up til 2 this morning with pains going right to my back and this morning it eased again. OH accidentally backed into me this morning in bed and I nearly threw up. It’s a weird pain not crampy if I didn’t have normal CM I’d almost think it was an infection or something. Maybe wait a week and if nothing happens or eases I’ll phone the doctors.

@katao I'm surprised they let you do the referral without an SA first? We were told we had to have one done to get it - but perhaps your OH already has kids from before?

@kalidasa thank you for your rational mind :) I'm pretty sure ovulation is right - it's hard to see but the 1dpo temp is higher than the cd11 one by a tiny amount.

@blodyn91 jebus your parents are godsend! Our buyers pulled out in July and now we're thinking we'll have to keep the flat a couple more years as there's no way it'll sell even next year in this climate 🙊

@Juno231 yes not ttc for first time so maybe not worried about SA. The main reason I was referred was due to very irregular cycles. 18-42 days 😬 mostly very short.

@Luna57 it possibly is an infection. If you have been having a lot more sex because off ttc or not weeing after sex you can be more likely to get a uti. Don't suffer on , get checked out if you are in pain.

@Katao I remember @lucyrp's OH hadn't had his SA done before her fertility appointment was through for jan, only bloods. Not sure on @clolo or @notyetamumbuttrying? @paintfairy it was the bloods being messed up that was causing the bounce back on the referral so I think for most ppl it's at the fertility stage when OHs SA is done. @Justanothercyster had SA done before? Not sure how? Ours was all done at fertility clinic as my referral didn't even include bloods it was a formality from oncology.

@Luna57 it's likely your hormones settling from it being first cycle after coming off contraception I think, if actually painful then ask your GP but they will likely just say it's hormones or ovulation or just "wait and see!" That's an answer for about a year!! Paracetamol is fine when TTC and it's so frustrating as we try to second guess everything 😂

@Minster2012 haven’t watch it yet, procastrinating? queen... dh will refuse, ds can’t scape, well he can and will, now I need to remember how to put prime on, I don’t normally use it....
