@Minster2012 a few streaks of red in CM at least once a day when wiping since Saturday. Previous cycles that happens anywhere from 2-5 days running up to AF.

@lucyrp yeah we host some big events in Scotland so the company can usually pay out a good bonus. This year has been bad for us though as we work in the events/hospitality industry. I got too used to that bonus it's like part of the salary now haha.

Sounds like you and DH have gone above and beyond providing for people - I think at my workplace it'd be unpaid unless you could WFH and you would definitely need to provide evidence. For those who've taken the mick that sounds like a gross misconduct issue, so a sackable offence right?

I can't remember who was asking about heart palpitations (sorry!) But I get them, it's usually a sign of anxiety and/or stress in me so it's been happening a lot in the past fortnight 😂

@Minster2012 oo yes Hp Cluedo is actually the best! Like so much more fun than normal because you can use the fireplaces to move around and there's different spells and stuff 😍 we absolutely love it! We also turn it into a drinking game but maybe not for your friend's son 🤣

Exciting news- I haven't done opk's in months as I just can't with them with irregular cycles, but as I've had awful cramps all day and a LOT of snotty cm, I did my very last one and it was VERY positive. So we'll keep DTD I guess 😅 do you guys think every day is overkill?
Also, my cramps are SO BAD. So we think I'm maybe ovulating now?!

Gosh that story! I find that stuff so interesting though as I based my masters on clinical post parting psychosis and depression, which can often result in similar outcomes :/ it's interesting but so heartbreaking. Any sort of psychotic break is devastating :(

@2020mission I get palpitations, usually because of anxiety though. It got so bad before that I had to cut out any form of caffeine (and still do drink decaf tbf)

@2020mission I get them. Not sure why but usually depression/anxiety related with me. Although I did read being deficient on folic acid can cause them (which I am)

@InkyPaper we certainly wouldn't go so far as sacking it's just how do we make sure the piss isn't taken but we say it isn't right. We are a family firm and pride ourselves on being fair but we aren't made of money and nor is the firm. We were really worried in the summer, fortunately it's turned out well but it always seems we don't see the benefit of that. Our staff need to realise it's pretty small communities round here and word gets out but sometimes it's hard for us to hire in a competitive marketplace (drivers for instance) in the summer some of our guys tried to say "you need us more than we need you we can work for Asda" it's like thanks for us looking out for you for the past 5 years. Not.

@Minster2012 that's so disappointing that after being treated so well some are taking the piss. Can you not demand proof of covid test in future. Just say to everyone that you're not wanting to name and shame as you know things are difficult for all right now but it has been brought to your attention that some people have been untruthful. As a result in the future if anyone needs to be off you need to see proof in the form of nhs email or txt from either track and trace if they've to isolate or covid test results if they've been for a test failure to provide one of these will result in no pay for the period of absence. I think that's a more than reasonable request from an employer.

Nothing to report here just twiddling my thumbs in the tww, perio due some time between Friday and next Tuesday so not too long to go, tho made the mistake of getting all excited when I weighed myself today and had lost 1lb and weight loss before my period was a sign in past positives......then remember I've been trying to eat more healthy this week and have been doing lots of walking so that's probably why I lost the weight 😂 Either way I suppose weight loss is a win.

@Minster2012 yes they can work for Asda, but I have, it won't be so cosy, you get used and abused, at the he end of the day they pay just over minimum wage, they'll definitely not trust you enough to pay for isolating in your word😂

Well fully expected to wake up with AF but nope nothing except a lot of cramps.

Done a test looked negative chucked it in the bin.
Went to take rubbish out and swore I seen a line, done another cheap IC and swear I can see a shadow.
I'm having loads of cramps tonight and keep going to the toilet expecting AF but so far nothing. so I'm none the wiser really.
I guess I'll test tomorrow and see what happens.

@Minster2012 I get paid of off with COVID or off for my children isolating but have to prove it.

Also stressss yesterday, our buyers pulled out! So my parents have come to the rescue and are buying our house now so we can go ahead with the other house 😬🙌 I owe them so so so much!

@DKDK123 weight loss definitely a win! Awesome work. She says after stuffing herself with a carb loaded meal 😂and we can def do that for when they have to isolate but it's the kids though which is why I asked for those with kids if they get paid. We absolutely don't have an issue paying for isolation but when it's taking time for dependants it gets a bit dodgy really and often we just get told by a text message and most of our staff are paid weekly so it's easy to "bend the system" as we are really busy currently we can't chase for the evidence by the time it's going to our lady in accounts. The good thing about "me" being the HR person though is I'm not there all the time so DH can literally go "send it to the wife" I guess we could make more of a thing about it "if she doesn't have it don't take it out on me" and I'm hardly ever in the office for them to take it out on me. We've done that before. How do you feel?

@blodyn91 oh no your buyers pulled out? That's shit. Thank f for parents! Are they gonna lease it out? Unfortunately drivers are very scarce to come by so hard to replace. @Minster2012 even if theyre taking it off for dependents isolating I'd ask for the track and trace letter as they'll get one of those if they've been asked to isolate from school. If they're just taking time off because they don't want to send them then I wouldn't be paying, that's their choice the school is still open. To keep everyone happy you could say you understand parents concerns in these times and you don't mind if people need to take up to a week off if they give you x amount of days notice however this week will be unpaid (unless a track and trace letter is shown) as you will need to pay other staff to fill their slot that week. I think that's a fair compromise.
